Tender For Construction Of Workshop Building At Iiser Pune; 2 Earthwork 3 Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, all lifts, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m. All kinds of Rocks. 6 Filling available earth in IISER Campus in trenches, plinths, sides of foundations, etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 M., and for all lifts. Thermo- mechanically treated bars of grade FE-500 D/FE-550 D or more up to& above Plinth level at any height. 21 Pre Engineerered Structure :Design, Engineering, drawing, fabrication, supply, and erection of a Pre-Engineered steel building with a rigid frame for a clear span of width 30.00 Mtr. outer/outer of walls, and length 48.03 M outer/outer having a bay spacing of 1 @ 5.80 M. c/c and sloping roof and a clear height 8.50 m at the center and 6.00 m. at sloping end.as per drawing and technical specifications.Note: All the measurements to be followed as per drawing & no price deviation on account of the same.The primary members shall be 345 Mpa grade made up of steel plates of minimum thickness 6mm . Secondary members for purlin ,girts etc shall be 345 Mpa and cold formed GI section of 120gsm.All primary members like column,rafter shall be painting with 2 coats of epoxy paint finish of approved shade including a coat of primer at factory itself. The grade of sheet shall be 550 mpa.The insulation shall be rock wool insulation of50mm thick having density of 48kg/m3 , insulation shalll be placed over the weld mesh frame of size 75x75x 4mm thick with aluminium foil .v) Turbo Ventilators of 24 Dia. 8 No.s(Qty)fitted with nylon-made typhonic bearing, double top cap ensured permanent alignment in inverted cap design. Gutter & Down Take Pipe: To be designed as per the rain fall intensity To match with Roofing Sheet and cladding not less than 150 mm Dia. For Circular Pipes or 150 mm X 150 mm for rectangular pipes. viii) Providing and fixing 2 mm thick polycarbonate sheet of Opal white in colurincluding jointing accessories of required shape and shade with Light Transparancy not less than 30 %. including all fixures complete of approved make as per the direction of the Engineer- in charge.The description of items in BOQ shall be read along with Drawings and Technical specifications. The rate quoted in the BOQ by tenderers is deemed to have included all aspects covered in the Technical specifications unless stated otherwise. All features and details shown in Tender / Good for Construction Drawings are deemed to have been included in the Rates quote for corresponding items in the BOQ. NOTE- Successful tenderers are requested to submit the detailed design loading and supporting documents and the shop drawings approved by third party i.e. recognized institutes like IIT, COEP, VJTI, and VNIT. However, the work shall be carried out only on prior approval of the Engineer-in-charge after necessary checking and approval of design concepts and detailed shop drawings by Third party.Work Order will be issued on approval of design by Third party only.In case agency fails to submit Third party approval within a month after the issue of Letter of Acceptance then the offer will be cancelled & work order will not be issued & EMD will be forefitted. Mode of Measurement: The Plinth Area of the building i.e. outer measurements of the buildings will be considered for payment purposes. 22 Civil works 23 Providing & Fixing low density Plastic sheet having 200 micron thickness with overlap 450mm wide joints on compacted earth surface before concerteing work. 24 Providing and laying R.C.C. pavement of mix M-30 with ready-mixed concrete from the batching plant. The ready mixed concrete shall be laid and finished with a screed board vibrator, vacuum dewatering process, and finally finished by floating, brooming with a wire brush, etc. complete as per specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-charge. (The panel shuttering work shall be paid for separately). (Note:- Cement content considered in this item is @ 330 kg/cum. Excess/less cement used as per design mix is payable/ recoverable separately). Also the quoted rate inclusive single mat reinforcement steel for flooring by 8mm dia bars at 150 C/c both ways binding with 18g wires. 25 Providing and laying Autoclaved Aerated concrete(AAC) blocks masonry with 150mm to 300 mm thickwith Grade-1 AAC blocks of density 551 to 650 kg/cum conforming to IS:2185 (Part 3)in super structure above plinth level up to floor V level with RCC band at sill level and lintel level with approved block laying polymer modified adhesive mortar all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (The payment of RCC band and reinforcement shall be made for seperately). 26 Providing and applying 12 mm thick (average) premixed formulated one coat gypsum lightweight plaster having additives and lightweight aggregates as vermiculite/ perlite respectively conforming to IS: 2547 (Part - 1 & II) 1976, applied on hacked / uneven background such as bare brick/ block/ RCC work on walls & ceiling at all floors and locations, finished in smooth line and level, etc. complete. 27 Providing 18 mm cement plaster in two coats under layer 12 mm thick cement plaster 1:5 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand) and a top layer 6 mm thick cement plaster 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) finished rough with sponge. 28 Providing and fixing steel chicken mesh of average aperture 10 mm, wire dia 0.50 mm and fixing withnails on wall surface of 30cm width at junction of brick masonary and RCC surface as required before plastering etc. complete as per direction of engineer in charge. 29 Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required.In stringers, treads, landings etc. of stair cases, including use of chequered plate wherever required, all complete 30 Providing and laying vitrified floor tiles in different sizes (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS: 15622, of approved make, in all colours and shades, laid on 20mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3 kg/ sqmincluding grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc., complete. With water thinnable cement primer on wall surface having VOC content less than 50 grams/liter 37 Wall painting with acrylic emulsion paint, having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content less than 50 grams/ litre, of approved brand and manufacture, including applying additional coats wherever required, to achieve even shade and colour. TWO Coats 38 Finishing walls with Premium exterior paint up to 10 meters building with Silicone addictives over masonry/ RCC wall of required shade with Two or more coats applied @ 1.43 ltr/10sqm over and including primer applied @ 2.20/10 sqm) or as per manufacturers specifications. 1. Preparing the surface for further painting activity etc. complete including cleaning etc complete. Quoted rate shall be including working at any height by using swing or suitable arrangement to reach inaccessible location etc complete.2. One coats of primer shall be applied as per OEM specifications.3. Two coats of painting shall be done as per approved pattern and shade. Frames shall be metered & field assembled with self-tabs. Frames to have an inbuilt grooved sealing system & shall be site fitted with PVC seal as standard. All provisions will be mortised, drilled & tapped for receiving appropriate hardware. The frame should be provided with back plate brackets & anchor fasteners for installations on a finished plastered masonry wall opening. frames shall be fitted with non-fire-rated puffs & gaps shall be filled with backer rod & silicone sealant.ii) Shutter:door leaf shall be 46 mm thick fully flushed double skin door with or without vision lite. The door leaf shall be manufactured from a minimum 0.8 mm (22 Gauge) thick galvanized steel sheet. The internal construction of the door should be rigid reinforcement pads for receiving appropriate hardware. The infill material shall be a resin-bonded honeycomb core. all doors shall be factory prepped for receiving appropriate hardware & providing with necessary reinforcement for hinges, locks & door closers. the edges should be interlocked with a bending radius of 1.4 mm. For a pair of doors integrated astragals have to be provided on the meeting site for both active & inactive leaves. vision lite wherever applicable should be provided as per manufacturers recommendation with a clip-on arrangement. (iv) Finish:all doors & frames shall be finished pure polyster powder coated & shall have passed a minimum of 500 hours of salt spray test.Make Shakti / Horman / Avian / Equivalent. (v) Door for Machine Room as specified above in detail with 2.4 M.
