Tender For Tourism Development Of Karmaha Math Tahsil Hata District Khushinagar, 1 CONSERVARTION AND RENOVATION OF HERITAGE BUILDING COMPLEX 2 Manually removal of vegetation (major trees, climbing plants, creepers) from walls, columns, arches, floor etc in a skilled and careful manner, using appropriate tools and means and without causing any damage to the adjoining parts, including carrying and stacking the dismantled materials including lift/lower upto 11mtrs and lead upto 50 mtrs as directed by the engineer or architect in charge. The exposed surfaces will be coated with a paste made from ammonium sulphamate crystals or with Tree killer available in market. In this condition the root system may be left to absorb and die. Large sections of dead wood must not be left within the core. As they decay they will remove support and create voids and weaknesses in the wall. But pull off a well - established mat of vegetation must be resisted. Tamping, grouting, pointing and resetting of brick / stones especially on wall top, must all be anticipated as remedial work. 3 Careful uprooting of vegetation growth, bushes, shrubs and rank vegetation from the walls upto a height 10mbamboo ladders, scafolding etc.) with the help of Specialised tools including injecting chemicals or natural mediums like buttermilk for drying roots so that they losen up and taken out invery carefull mannerto avoid any damage to the heritage structure Note:-This job involves high risk and requires working at a height of 10.00m (aprox. 30.00 ft), hence employing of skilled labour is necessary (30% extra charges) alongwith execution under the supervision of a conservation engineer/Architect. 4 Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven story height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after .The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineerin-charge .The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose .The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding.Note: - This item to be used for maintenance work judicially, necessary deduction for scaffolding in the existing item to be done. 5 Removing Cracked & bulged lime concrete Very Carefully using specialised tools by the means of manual labour Without use any mechanical means Including Stacking Of Dead Material & Throwing Malba Beyond Monument upto 150 mm including disposal of Malba within 50 m lead. The scope includes all necessary labor, materials, and tools to ensure a thorough restoration in accordance with the original pattern, while achieving a seamless match in color and texture, for areas reaching heights of 5-8 meters above ground level. This entails employing a combination mortar mixture in a 1:1:1 ratio (1 part lime putty, 1 part surkhi, 1 part coarse sand), enhanced with ingredients such as jaggery, molasses, gum, sunn/jute fibers, and urad dal paste, along with belgiri. Additionally, the process includes the application of a final lime putty coat for the surface finishing. 25 Decorative lime plaster application with a 1:1:1 mortar mix, encompassing meticulous replication of all intricate design elements present on-site, atop a base layer plaster adhering to traditional techniques, while ensuring the preservation of all curves and contours. The preparation of mortar strictly involves grinding mill procedures. Given the intricate nature of this task, it necessitates meticulous execution under the vigilant oversight of a Conservation Architect. (Labour Rates as perA.S.IL.K.O CurrentRate.) 26 Traditional stucco works using lime putty mortar in accordance with established conventions and design specifications, ensuring the preservation of contours and curves through pattern molds. The mortar preparation exclusively involves grinding mill procedures. Thickness ranges from 10mm to 100mm, tailored to the specific design requirements. 27 Preparation & Layingof Traditional lime Mortar as final top layer also used as water-proofing layer over base concrete on the terrace/ domes of the structure including prepration of mortar by traditional practice by grinding for base course (lime mortar - 1 Lime putty: 1 Surkhi: 1 Marble Dust, Microfiber) and organic additives along withtamping& proper curing. Final finishing of the surface with fine coat of lime putty mixed with fine sand, organic additives like gur sheera and beligirito match the orignal materials. It also includes maintaining original beetles and curves matching with original. (Labour Rates as perA.S.IL.K.O CurrentRate.) 28 Providing wood work in frames of doors, windows, clerestory windows and other frames, wrought framed and fixed in position with hold fast lugs or with dash fasteners of required dia & length ( hold fast lugs or dash fastener shall be paid for separately).(Labour Rates as perA.S.IL.K.O CurrentRate.) 29 Removing white or color wash by scrapping and sand paperingwithout causing damage to the below stone/brick/plastered surface.and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete. 30 Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting,unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved. 31 Traditional brick masonry in custom madebricks of (L=,B=,H=) as found on site in lime mortar in proportion similar to the existing traditional lime mortar 1:1:1 (lime :1 sand : 1surkhi)Note: The cost may change from region to region due to change in rate of customized bricks. 32 Same as above item but for ornamental work ie column and arches 33 Providing & Fixing of Spout for rain water 34 Painting on wood as per PWD Specifcation 35 Lime punning with lime putty mixed with Gur,Bilgri,Urd and other ingredients followed by grinding to fine paste for smooth finish 36 Protective MS Box for covering of Dietyfor any physical damages Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steelprimer using structural steel etc. as required. Along with condition assessment and material report of further analysis, research & documentaion. 41 Dismantling steel work in single section(MS Girder) very-2 carefully and slowly to avoid any damage to the adjoining portion/members of the heritage structure after inspecting and re-strengtening to provided propping system to avoid any untoward incident during execution of work, including dismembering and stacking 50 mtrs. away from the site. 42 Provision of support during dismantling in place of removed girders to avoid damage to heritage structure and make the site safe for workers during execution of work. 43 MS Channel 175 mm box vertically placed(as shaft) over base plate of 10 mm and at top with a base plate of 10 mm for pressure jack 44 Pressure jack required to support the roof during dismantling and fixing MS girder(Galvanised) to carry and transfer the load uniformily to the ground without failure. 45 Providing and fixing Structural steel work in single section(MS Girder (galvanised)) fixed with or without connecting plate, including cutting, hoisting & fixing in position as per original pattern after galvanising of the (MS Girder)all complete. 46 Reproduction of plaster of Shahjahani Arch & Semi- Circular Arch as per original pattern with traditional lime putty mortar of ratio (1:1:1) 1 Lime putty: 1 Surkhi: 1 Coarse sand mixed with Belgiri, Gur and Gum matching with original colour and texture by maintaining existing curve & beetles. 47 Providing and laying integral cement based water proofing treatment including preparation of surface as required for treatment of roofs,balconies, terraces etc consisting of following operations: (a) Applying a slurry coat of neat cement using 2.75 kg/sqm of cement admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS. 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge over the RCC slab including adjoining walls upto 300 mm height including cleaning the surface before treatment. (b) Laying brick bats with mortar using broken bricks/brick bats 25 mm to 115 mm size with 50% of cement mortar 1:5 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand) admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge over 20 mm thick layer of cement mortar of mix 1:5 (1 cement :5 coarse sand) admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge to required slope and treating similarly the adjoining walls upto 300 mm height including rounding of junctions of walls and slabs. (c) After two days of proper curing applying a second coat of cement slurry using 2.75 kg/ sqm of cement admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge.
