Bids Are Invited For Custom Bid For Services - Provision of Multipurpose Trg shed at Upper Patiala Hill trg area at Chakabama Mil Stn., Mobilization/Transportation erection and dismantling of all reburied equipment at proposed sile ikncluding deployment of shifted and suitable personal for effective soll investigation as direction Job Carrying out soil investigation as per relevant IS for the Name of Work as mentioned above, complete all as specified and directed including the following: (i) Upto a depth of 5.00 m 02 Nos (ii) Trail Pit of size (1.2 x 1.2 x 1.2) 01 Nos Nole (1) In case of variation in Nos and depth of bore holes as given above the same shall be adjusted at Rs. 1100.00 per running meter of bore hole (2) The cost of all equipment and their charges shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate. Carrying out the folowing laboratory tests on the soil samples as per is codes per B/H. (a) (1) Sleve analysis and Hydrometer tests of identification and classification of soll bases on properties and grain size (ii) Specific gravity of the soil (i) Studies of settlement characteristics of soil based on consolidation tests and liquid and plastic limit. (iv) Stratification of soil for entire depth of bore log including ground water table location and other properties. Evaluation of shear parameters of undisputed soil smaples by adopting direct shear lest (v) Nature moisture content (NMC), void ratio and porosity. Tri-axial and direct shear test and confined compression test of undisturbed samples and bulk, submerfed and dry density of the soil (b) Compilation of SSI Report as per IS (viz Filed and laboratory test results, Preparation of reports, Recommendation for different type of foundations, water table) with clear unambiguous recommendations for types of foundation for all structures with bearing capacity pile capacities., The recommendations will be duly vetted by the vetting agency as per Notes Submission of all report booklets 05 (Five) copies with CD 01 (One) copy duly indicating the following (i) Evaluation of safe bearing capacity of the soil with respect to shear failure test and permissible settlement (Total and differential) alongwith recommendation about type of foundation and minimum depth of foundation to be adopted. (ii) Evaluation of liquefaction potential (ii) Evaluation of K-value (iv) Specific suggestion if any soll treatment if required below foundation/ ground floor roads and type of realment to be carried out. Notes for submission of SSI report: 1. Fallowing points to be included in SSI report (not comprehensive, appropriate data/information may be added as per requirement (a) Introduction (b) Objection of the geotechnical investigations (c) Details of the proposed structures (d) Site conditions (e) Field investigations (1) Laboratort test results (g) Soil profile (h) Allowable bearing capacity-based on N values, c value and permissible settlement with sample calculations. Complele calculations will be submitted in sift copy in the same CD containing the SSI report. Liquefaction analysis with calculations. (k) Foundation allematives duly tabulated building wise (1) Clear recommendations duly vetted by IIT/NIT/ Govt Engg College. A table showing building name, BH No, depth & coordinate of the BH corrected SPT N values and the recommended SBC and clear recommendation for depth and type foundation including any requirement of soil improvement marked on the site plan should form part of the recommendations (m) Annexure including bore logs, C- and indicated for BHis, likelihood of water- logging at sile must also be checked. 2. If the soil/water has high (more than permissible) contents of sulphate, chlorides or any other deleterious material, the same should be brought out and appropriate recommendation be offered. the required chemical analysis needs to be undertaken for the same 13.
