No.Icf/Safety/Spec.No.15-A Dt 25.03.2013 Specification For Leather Safety Gloves For Welder Sl.No.01-Material-Chrome Tanned Split Leather As Per Is-2573/1986 Sl.No02-Thickness-Thickness Of Leather Shall Be 1.2 To 1.5 Mm Sl.No.03 ,Model And Measurement -1. Model And Measurement Are To Be Maintained As Per Drg.No.Icf/J And T/Sk/1785 Alt-Nil 2. The Colour Of The Golves Is Green And Seam In Yellow Colour. Sl.No.04-Stitching -1.The Gloves Shall Be Of Machine Cut And The Number Of Stitches Shall Be Of 6 To 8 Stitches Per 25Mm 2.The Gloves Stitching Area Shall Be Provided With Seaming /Piping Arrangement As Per The Drg.No.Icf/J And T/Sk/1785 Alt-Nil, So That No Stitching Is Exposed To Outside Of The Gloves. Sl.No.05 - Test Certificate And Sample Clause 1.Four Pairs Of Gloves Shall Be Supplied Along With Offer. 2.Gloves Shall Be Tested At Clri For Both Physical And Chemical Conditions As Per The Is:2573/1986 And Test Certificate Shall Be Attached With Offer. The Test Shall Be Carried Out As Per The Requirements. Physical Test Is Comprise Of A Thickness Of Leather At Finger, Palm And Fore Arm. B Number Of Stitches As Per The Requirement . C Double Hole Stitch Tear Strength. D Shrinkage Temperature. Chemical Testing Done As Per The Table-1 Of Is:2573/1986. 3.Manufacture Firms Name Shall Be Legibly Marked On Inside Of The Cuff Of The Gloves.
