    Stripping Of Tanks, Followed By Ventilation For Atleast 48 Hrs. When Gas Free Certificate Is Obtained From The Competent Agency, Cleaning Of Tanks Is To Be Undertaken Followed By Washing Down Of All Seventeen In Number Cargo Fuel Tanks, One In Number Avcat Tank, Three In Number Ffo Tanks And Nine Own Use Fuel Tanks Interior, Pipes And Layers Using Water Jet. Thereafter, Removal Of Any Sludge Accumulation And Ensuring That The Suction Strainer Boxes Are Clear. Clean Structure To The Bare Metal In Way Of Any Traces Of Corrosion Or Loose And Flaking Enamel. Thoroughly Dry Tank After Cleaning. On Completion, Tank Internal Surfaces Will Be Applied With Om750 (Provided By Ship Staff) Before Undocking. Cleaning/ Gas Freeing Of Cargo Fuel Tanks And Own Use Tanks At Karwar And Mumbai (Total Area Is 48010 Sq Mtr Out Of Which Cleaning/Gas Freeing Of 3510 Sq Mtr Is To Be Undertaken At Mumbai And 44500 Sq Mtr At Karwar.
