Detailed description of works

Dismantling the existing plywood floor with PVC flooring, including the disposal of unusable materials from the campus and stacking the usable materials on-site as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying, fabricating, and fixing GI hollow rectangular/square sections as per the approved design, made of 14 gauge/2mm thick material. This includes applying two coats of enamel paint after a priming coat of approved steel primer, welding, and grinding to achieve a smooth finish, etc., complete as per the directions of the Engineer-in-charge. Brand: TATA/Apolo/Jindal or approved equivalent.

Providing and fixing MS sections/materials such as angles, channels, plates, cleats, brackets, clamps, bolts, nuts, washers, etc., of various sizes and lengths, wherever required, as directed by the engineer-in-charge. This includes applying two coats of epoxy synthetic enamel paint after a priming coat of approved epoxy primer, following the dressing of welded joints, and completing the work accordingly.

Supply and fixing of 3mm thick aluminium chequered plate on existing steel framework, including cutting, hoisting, drilling and fixing in position using non-corrosive screws as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Make:JINDAL,NALCO,HINDALCO or approved equivalent.

Providing and fixing homogeneous polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sheet (Tusker/Excel or equivalent good quality) for flooring and skirting on all floors in an approved pattern, on a smooth and damp-proof base, using rubber-based adhesives of approved quality and manufacture, such as Dunlop S-758, Fevicol SR998, or equivalent. This includes surface preparation, cleaning, filling with JK putty/POP if required, and rolling with a light wooden roller weighing about 5kg, all complete as directed by the C-DAC official. Thickness: 1.6 to 2mm.
