Single Lane R.C.C Bridge over Rania Khal near pal para at ward No. 113 over Tollys Nullah 5. Bridge over Western Channel near Natun Pally-- 1 M.S. work in Rolled steel joists, channels, angles. Tees, plates etc. including hoisting, placing in position including providing staging and removing after completion of works and cutting to sizes as required excluding necessary nuts & bolts and cost of welding 2 Labour for lowering and stacking after dismantling in parts R.S. joists,channels,angles,tees,plates etc comlete as directed. 3 Cutting to requisite length or shape departmental R.S. joists,channels,angles,tees,plates etc. 4 Labour for hoisting and placing in proper position(up to 1st floor level) departmental R.S. joists, chaneels, angles. Tees,plates etc.including fitting and fixing same with bolts and nuts,if necessary(but excluding cost of such bolts and nuts). 5 Removing old paint from blistered painted surface of steel or other metal by chipping including scraping and cleaning and exposing the original surface. 6 Priming one coat on steel or other metal surface with synthetic oil bound primer of approved quality including smoothening surfaces by sand papering etc. 7 (A) Painting with best quality synthetic enamel paint of approved make and brand including smoothening surface by sand papering etc. including using of approved putty etc. on the surface, if necessary :(b) On steel or other metal surface : With super gloss (hi-gloss) -(iv) Two coats (with any shade except white) 8 Welding by gas / electric plant including transportation of welding plant at site including cutting, forging & drilling to required shape. 9 Providing and laying Design Mix concrete for plain / reinforced concrete work in any part of bridge (excluding bottom plugging) with coarse aggregates of appropriate nominal size and grading, fine aggregate (sand) conforming to proper grading zone, both of approved quality and cement, as necessary, including labour, cost and carriage of all materials and including preparation of design mix, approval of the same by the Engineer-in-Charge and cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. all complete but excluding cost of labour and materials for formwork & reinforcement works.(a) M-20 Grade Using concrete mixer. 10 Labour for Chipping of concrete surface before taking up Plastering work. 11 Plaster (to wall, floor, ceiling etc.) with sand and cement mortar including rounding off or chamfering corners as directed and raking out joints including throating, nosing and drip course, scaffolding/staging where necessary (Ground floor).[Excluding cost of chipping over concrete surface]. With 1:4 cement mortar. 20 mm thick plaster 12 Applying Exterior grade Acrylic primer of approved quality and brand on plastered or cencrete surface old or new surface to receive decorative textured (matt finish) or smooth finish acrylic exterior emulsion paint including scraping and preparing the surface throughly, complete as per manufacturers specification and as per direction of the EIC.In Ground Floor:(a) One Coat 13 Protective and Decorative Acrylic exterior emulsion paint of approved quality, as per manufacturers specification and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge to be applied over acrylic primer as required. The rate includes cost of material, labour, scaffolding and all incidental charges but excluding the cost of primer. In Ground floor (Two Coat) a) Normal Acrylic Emulsion 14 Uprooting and removing plants from the surface of walls parapet etc and making good damages.(Repairing of damages to be paid separately).(a) Small plant of girth of exposed stem upto 75 mm. lift upto 6 mtr. 15 Hire and labour charges for shuttering with centering and necessary staging upto 4 m using approved stout props and thick hard wood planks of approved thickness with required bracing for concrete slabs, beams and columns, lintels curved or straight including fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of works (upto roof of groundfloor)(a) 25 mm to 30 mm thick wooden shuttering as per decision & direction of Engineer-In-Charge. 16 Reinforcement for reinforced concrete work in all sorts of structures including distribution bars, stirrups, binders etc initial straightening and removal of loose rust (if necessary), cutting to requisite length, hooking and bending to correct shape, placing in proper position and binding with 16 gauge black annealed wire at every intersection, complete as per drawing and direction.(a) For works in foundation and upto roof of ground floor/upto 4 m(i) Tor steel/Mild Steel I. SAIL/ TATA/RINL 17 Supplying. preparing and placement of ready mix non shrink cementious microconcrete having no metalic aggregate or chlorides for repairing andjackting of damaged R.C.C.members. The micro concrete should achieve a compressive strength not less than 10 MPa after 24 hours. 40 Mpaafter 7 days and 50Mpa aftre 28 days at 300C. It should have unrestrained expansion in between 1 to 4%. flexural strength shall not be less than 5MPaafter 28 days. Micro concrete should have a co-efficient of thermal expansion similar to that of the host concrete. 18 Applying epoxy mortar ( 10 mm nominal thick) over leached, honey combed and spalled concrete surface and exposed steel reinforcement complete as per Technical specification 19 Picking up and removing old bituminous layer or sand sealing coat from old black topped surface and cleaning the exposed surface by scraping and stacking the material as directed.(c) By mechanical means (with milling machine) : Cold milling of Bituminous Pavement surface upto the required depth by mechanical means using milling machine, without disturbing the under laying layers, to proper line and level, cleaning the surface properly after milling and removing the loose materials, stacking the milled materials for re-use, necessary guarding, barricading & lighting, including hire charges of machinery, cost of fuel and labour and other incidental charges all complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. (i) For depth upto 100mm 20 Tack Coat: Providing and applying tack coat with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion of approved grade conforming to IS: 8887-1978 on the prepared surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom, moistening the surface including cost and carriage of emulsion, hire charges of machinery and labour, cost of fuel and lubricants all complete as per Clause 503 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).On Bituminous Surface(with primer @ 0.225 kg/sqm) 21 Providing and laying bituminous concrete with Hot Mix Plant usingcrushed aggregates, filler materials (cement/ hydrated lime/ Rock dust ) and premixed with bituminous binder of specified grading @ 5.2 % (min.) for Gr-1 & @ 5.4% (min.) for Gr-2, as per table 500-17 and mix design done as per table 500-10 and job mix formula as per cl. 505.3.3 including screening, cleaning of chips and preparing a uniform and quality mix , transporting the hot mix to work site, laying the mix materials at specified laying temperature as specified in Table 500-2 with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment over prepared surface coated with tack coat, rolling with smooth wheeled and vibratory or tandem rollers or with a pneumatic tyre roller of 12 to 15 tonne weight with a tyre pressure of at least 0.56 MPa to achieve the desired density as per clause 505.3.5 including cost and carriage of machinery and equipment for construction and quality control, complete as per clause 507 of specifictions for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision)A.
