Tender For Kareli - Nurulla Road to Askari Market Road Block C and Block D Housing Scheme and Nurulla Road from Mahavir Chauraha to Karamat Ki Chowki near Sasur Khedari River and also till the connecting road - Clearing grass and removal of rubbish upto a distance of 30 m outside the periphery of the area as per Technical Specification Clause 201. 3 Dismantling of existing structures like culverts, bridges, retaining walls and other structure comprising of masonry, cement concrete, wood work, steel work, including T&P and scaffolding wherever necessary, sorting the dismantled material, disposal of unserviceable material and stacking the serviceable material with all lifts and lead of 60 metres as per instructions of E-I-C. (Hire charges for Diesel Pump set for 10 HP) 13 [B] Bill No. 2 - Earthworks 14 Excavation for road work in soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and leading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections and transporting to the embankment location within all lifts and lead upto 1000m 15 Removal of unserviceable soil including excavation loading and disposal but excluding replacement by suitable soil which shall be paid separately as per clause 305 16 i) Lead upto 1000 M 17 ii) Lead upto 8000 M 18 Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification, including setting out construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious matter dressing of sides and bottom, backfilling the excavation earth to the extent required and utilizing the remaining earth locally for road work. 19 Mechanical Means (Depth upto 1.5 m) 20 i) Excavation 21 Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 and for all lift. 22 [C] Bill no. 3 - Development of Carriageway 23 Stabilization of in-situ (existing pavement crust) or soil or otherwise sub base/ base course up to the required depth by cold in-situ recycling using cement and chemical additives / otherwise: Providing pulverizing, spreading, milling and mixing of chemical additives at the appropriate rate as per job mix design in accordance with IRC-SP-72-2015 , IRC-37-2012 & 2018 and IRC SP 89 (part II) 2018. Cementitious additive @ rate of minimum 5 - 7% and CCS/CS additive should be spread on the existing pavement using a mobile truck mounted containerized cement/ additive spreader with micro processor controlled weighing and spreading system. The additive spreader shall have variable working width sufficient to cover whole pavement lane. The in-situ stabilization process shall be carried out by a mobile and self propelled stabilizer / reclaimer of working width of 2.4 m and with minimum engine horse power of 440 kw with a variable working depth up to 50 cm. The resultant stabilized mix then would be profiled to the required grade, level and thickness using motor grader and the mix would be compacted using 20 tonne pad foot roller in combination with smooth wheel roller to achieve desired proctor density as per IRC 37-2012 & 2018 and complete in all respect and curing with water as required including all materials, labour and machinery etc. The entire in-situ process would be carried out in single pass with milling and pulverising of damaged asphalt pavement / soil/ aggregates / soil-aggregate mixture to the desired depth and with simultaneous addition of additives and water with machine integrated spray bars fited on the wheeled self-propelled and vibratory pad foot roller to achieve the desired proctor density in all respects. The tandem roller be followed by Pneumatic Tyre Roller. The minimum unconfined compressive strength (UCS) of stabilized sub base/ base should be 4.5 to 7 MPa after 7 / 28 days of curing as per IRC-SP- 72-2015 , IRC-37-2012 & 2018 . Also durability aspects (wet-dry cycles) of stabilized sub base should be satisfied as per IRC 37-2012 & 2018 and IRC SP 89 (part II) 2018. The gradation mixes and materials should be as per IRC 37-2012 & 2018 and IRC SP 89 (part II) 2018. The train of equipments to be used are binder spreader- water Tanker- Additive Truck- Recycler- Padfoot Roller (20 Tonne) + Single Drum Compactor- Grader- Tandom Roller- Pneumatic TyreRoller (20 Tonne) 24 SAMI LAYERProviding and laying Stress Absorbing Membrane Interlayer (SAMI)/bitumen impregnated geotextile layer after clearing of the road surface geotextile conforming to physical requirements of claues 703-3, laid over a tack coat of paving grade Bitumen 80- 100 penetration, laid at the rate of 1.05 kg per sqm over thoroughly cleaned and repaired surface to provide a water resistance membrane and crack retarding layer paving fabric to be free of wrinkling and folding and to be laid before cooling of tack coat, brooming and rolling of surface with pneumatic roller to maximise paving fabric contact with pavement Surface. 25 Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.20 to 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous surface cleaned with mechanical broom. (Tack Coat on Bituminous surfaces ) 26 Providing and laying 40mmthickBitumencarpete(B.C.) with 100-120 TPh hot mix plant producing and average output of 75 tonege par hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading premixed with bitumen binder(VG-30) @ 5.40% of mix as per MOST specification clause. etc all comp of work. 27 Providing and laying in position ready mixed or site batched design mix cement concrete for reinforced cement concrete work; using coarse aggregate and fine aggregate derived from aggregat aggregate natural sources, Portland Pozzolana/Ordinary Portland/Portland Slag cement, admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate / retard setting of concrete, to improve durability and workability without impairing strength; including pumping of concrete to site of laying, curing, carriage for all leads as per direction of the engineer-in-charge; for the following grades of concrete.Note: Extra cement up to 10% of the minimum specified cement content in design mix shall. be payable separately. In case the cement content in design mix is more than 110% of the specified minimum cement content, the contractor shall have discretion to either re-design the mix or bear the cost of extra cement. 28 M.S. (TOR steel or plain) in plain work such as RCC or RB work including binding for proper shape and including supply of steel and its wastage bend, hooks and authorized overlapping shall be measured and including cost of binding wire. (PCC below all paving area, Kerb Channel, Road edge kerb, Table top, Property edge beam) 32 Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with front end loader at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per clause 401 (by mix in place method) 33 i) For Grading-I Material 34 Plain/Reinforced Cement Concrete in Open Foundation complete as per Drawing and Technical Specifications, PCC Grade M30using batching plant transit mixer & manual placing(80 mm thickness) r & manual placingand giving broom finish. (PCC with broom finish thickness 80 mm) 35 Providing and laying 75mm thick M-30 grade batch mix cement concrete and Applying stamping finish to the top surface of freshly laid plain/ reinforced cement concrete of specified grade in porticos, sidewalks, driveways, pool decks and open yards as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. The process shall include the following:-The concrete shall be placed and screeded to the finished grade, and floated to a uniform surface by using standard finishing techniques. The approved color hardener @ 2.7 kg/sqm shall be applied evenly to the surface of the fresh concrete by the dry shake method by sprinkling in two or more shakes, floated after each shake and trowelled only after the final floating. The approved release agent @ 0.113 kg/sqm shall be applied evenly to the trowelled surface before stamping or the said release agent can be applied to the flexible polyurethane stamp moulds of approved design and in required sizes to achieve final stamped pattern. These stampings shall be placed on the surface of concrete in three to four pieces at a time and tapped gently with rammers of sufficient size & weight to leave proper stamp marks and the process repeated for the remaining concrete surface till the hole surface to be stamped is completed within the time while concrete is in plastic stage of setting.After stamping, the curing shall be done as per manufactures specifications. After initial curing the imprinted joints shall be grouted using cement slurry mixed with color hardener as per theequirement. The surface shall be sealed by applying acrylic based sealer not less than 0.167 litre/sqm.on finished surface.The construction joints shall be provided by groove cutting of size 4mm x 20mm in panel size 3m x 3 m or lesser as per the site conditions and filling the same with 10 mm baker rod and providing and laying (PU) Polyurethane based joint sealer of approved make as per manufacturer’s specifications and finished by applying Polyurethane resin based top protective clear coat of minimum 80 micron applied with rollers on properly cured and dry clean surface. (Cost of concrete for flooring is not included in this item which shall be paid separately.) 36 80 mm thick C.C. paver block of M-35 grade with approved color design and pattern. 37 Supply and fixing of Tactile indicators made from SS-304 grade stainless steel. Warning Tactile indicator Shall be installed on the walking surface in a raised grid pattern of dots or stud. Minimum 36 studs to be placed in 300X300 mm area. (DSR-11.20) 41 Providing, laying and making kerb channel 30 cm wide and 50 mm thick with cement concrete 1:3:6 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand:6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) over 75mm bed of dry brick ballast 40 mm nominal size, well rammed and consolidated and grouted with fine sand, including finishing the top smooth etc. complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. (Saucer drain along the road edge, Curved Kerbs at Property Entry/Exit, Curved Kerbs at side roads) 42 Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete etc. as per direction of Engineer-in-charge (length of finished kerb edging shall be measured for payment). (PCC) 49 Providing and laying factory made chamfered edge Cement Concrete paver blocks in footpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc, of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over 50mm thick compacted bed of sand, compacting and proper embedding/laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand. complete all as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.80 mm thick C.C. paver block of M-35 grade with approved color design and pattern. 50 [F] Bill No. 6 -Cycle track 51 Nil 52 [G] Bill No. 7 - Traffic Signs, Markings and Other Road Appurtenances 53 Providing and erecting 2.00 metre high temporary barricading at site; each panel of size 2.50mx2.00m made of 40x40x6mm angle iron or 50x50x3mm hollow MS tube posts/horizontal members/bracings covered with 1.63mm thick MS sheet. The sheet shall be fixed with 30x5mm MS flat by suitable welding/riveting. The panels shall be made so that gap of 50cm above the ground is available making overall height as 2.5m. MS channel ISLC 75 @ 5.70 kg/m, 50cm long shall be provided at the bottom having oval shaped holes of size 50x25mm at both ends with 50cm long MS angle 40x40x6mm bracing. Suitable arrangement shall be made to fix the barricading to avoid from overturning by providing 250mm long expansion fasteners at both ends. The work shall be executed as per drawing/direction of Engineer-in-Charge which includes writing and painting, arrangement for traffic diversion such as traffic signals during construction at site for day and night, glow lamps, reflective signs, marking, flags, caution tape as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The barricading provided shall be retained in position at site continuously i/c shifting of barricading from one location to another location as many times as required during the execution of the entire work till its completion. Rate include its maintenance for damages, painting, all incidentals, labour materials, equipments and works required to execute the job. The barricading shall not be removed without prior approval of Engineer[1]in-Charge.(Note :- One time payment shall be made for providing barricading from start of work till completion of work i/c shifting. The barricading provided shall remain to be the property of the contractor on completion of the work). 54 Reflective Raised Pavement Markers (Cat Eye/ Road Stud) Supply and fixing of raised pavement marker with Made of Plastic body of RPM/ Road Stud shall be moulded from ASA (Acrylic Styrene Acrylonitrile) or HIPS (High-impact Polystyrene) or Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) or Any other suitable material approved by the Engineer. The Marker shall support a load of 13,635 kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4260. The Reflective panels shall consist, of number of lenses containing single or dual prismatic cubes capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face. Lenses shall be moulded of methyl methacrylate conforming to ASTM D788 of equivalent. The slop or retro-reflecting surface shall preferably ba 5+/.5 degree lo base and the area of each retro -reflecting surface shall not be less than 13.00 $Q.cm. the marker height shall not be less than 10 mm and shall not exceed 20 mm & Width shall not exceed 130 mm The base of the marker shall be flat within 1.3 mm all road studs shall be legibly marked with the name trade or other means of identification of the manufacture. epoxy installations, excess adhesive around the edge of the marker, excess adhesive on the pavement and adhesive on the exposed surfaces of the markers shall be immediately removed. The contractor shall submit a two year warranty for satisfactory field performance including stipulated retro-reflectance of the reflecting panel , to the Engineer . In addition , a two year warranty for satisfactory infield performance of the finished road marker shall also be given by the contractor who carries out the work of fixing of reflective road markers. In case the markers are, displaced , damaged . get worn out or lose their reflectivity compared to stipulated standards , the contractor would be required to replace all such markers within 15 days of the intimation from the Engineer , at his own cost. The rate shall include all materials, labor, T&P, transportation, installation and incidentals all complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge, 55 RPM With Shank 56 Solar Power Road Marker The solar studs shall be made of aluminum alloy and polycarbonate material which shall be absolutely weather resistant and strong enough to support to load of 13,635 kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. Its color may be white, red, yellow, green or blue or combination as directed by the Engineer. Its water resistance shall meet the requirements of IP 65 in accordance with IS: 12063:1987 category 2 for the protection against water ingress. The dimensions of solar studs shall not be less than 100 mm * 100 mm * 10 mm. It shall have super bright LEDs so as the provide long visibility from a distance of more than 800 m. Its flashing rate shall not be less than 1 Hz. Its should be able to give the prescribed performance in the temperature range of -40 degree C to +55 degree C. Its life shall be not less than 3 Years. The retroreflective sheeting shall be tested for a certificate of having the sheeting coefficient of retro reflection, daytime, color and luminance, shrinkage, flexibility, liner removal, adhesion, impact resistance, specular gloss and fungus resistance, 3 years outdoors weathering and its having passed these tests shall be obtained from international/ government laboratory/ Institute by the manufacturer of the sheeting and in case the certificate is obtained from international condition, it should be also obtained from Indian condition within 3 years of launching ofproduct by the manufacturing abroad. Alternatively, a certificate conforming to ASTM specification (D4956-09) on Artificial accelerated weathering requirement from a reputed laboratory in India can be accepted provisionally. In such a situation , the Employer/Client, if so desires, could seek for a performance guarantee which would be released after receipt of certificate meeting the requirement of 3 years outdoor weathering of the sheeting as per IRC 67:2012 . Legends, letters, numerals, and borders etc. should be as per MoRT&H specification 801.3.7.
