    Tender For Supply Of Underground Sewer Cleaning Rod Of 7Mm Dia And 1200Mm In Length, Spring Steel Material (Is-4454 P.T.I Grade - Ii) With End Coupling At Bhavnagar Sewer cleaning rods with suitable designed end couplings, 1.2 mtr. Length and 7.0 mm diameter as per following specification : (i) Material should be spring steel and confirm to IS-4454 P.T.I GRADE - II (ii) The rods shall be bent at an angle of 900 at radius 625 mm and torque of 26 Kg - mtr. Is applied for 5 hours. The rod should retain elasticity and should not show Any sign of crack or change of shape after the test. -Ultimate tensile strength – 140 Kg. / CM2 as per IS 1521 of 92. (iii) Material testing certificate as per above IS specifications from Govt. approved institute should Be issued with delivery of goods. (IV) End – couplings should be of proper design for of 100 mtrs. Designs of End - couplings should be as per I.S.Standards. (v) Outer surface of the rods must be galvanized to prevent the corrosion
