Tender For Provision Of Road Towards Southern Dispersal At Af Stn Thanjavur - Excavating over areas, in hard/dense soil n exc 1.5m deep and getting out complete all as specified and as directed 2 Removing excavated material (soil) to a distance exceeding 250 m but not exceeding 500 m and depositing where directedcomplete all as specified and as directed 3 M&L for Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting with 8 to 12 tonne power roller including watering as necessary, filling in the depressions with approved earth which occur during the process, consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed 4 M&L Soling (or sub base)150 mm spread thickness with broken boulders or quarried stone, interstices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with8 to 12 Tonne power roller complete all as specified and as directed. 5 M&L 25 cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM in layers not exc 7.5cm each, with coarse aggregates of granite grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or grading 3 (50 to 20mm size) in granite, trap or basalt, spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required with8 to 12 Tonne power roller.Note:- Unit rate is for combined thickness of 25 cm. 6 M&L for preparing unsurfaced water bound macadamsurfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and as directed 7 M&L applying evenly a prime coat a Cationic Bitumen Emulsion SS1 conforming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.71-1 kg/sqm on surface of WMMIVVBM as specified in table 500-3 of MoRTH mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and as directed 8 M&L applying evenly a tack coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.20-0.30 kg/sqm on bituminous surfaceas specified in table 500-5 of MoRTH specification of roadand bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer after cleaning of existing surfacecomplete all as specified and as directed 9 M&L for 50mm thick Premix bituminous macadam using 4% binder content (Paving Bitumen of VG-30 grade) by weight of total mix laid manually or with mechanical paver rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) complete all as specified and as directed 10 M&L for Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder (Paving bitumen of VG-30 grade) content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directedNote:- In the event of excess quantity of binder content is necessitated due to mix design of asphaltic concrete, the same shall be provided by the contractor at no extra cost and no price adjustment shall be applicable in this regard. 11 M&L for plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in kerbs/ PCC walls including necessary formwork complete all as specified and as directed. 12 M & L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermoplastic road marking paint of approved colour conforming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.
