| 5 | NOTES APPLICABLE TO SERIAL ITEM 1 TO 4 ABOVE:(a) Mechanical pavement marking machine shall be line lazer IV 3900 and 5900 of M/s Graco or equivalent as approved by GE.(b) Thickness of paint shall not be less than 40 micron (dry film thickness) for each coat after application.(c) Contractor will fix40 mm wide masking tape on both sides of the surface to be painted to avoid spillage of paint.(d) Surface shall be throughly cleaned and dusted so that all the dirt, scales, oil etc. shall removed before painting is started.Any existing paint showing extesive flaking, bleaching or saponification on old painted surface, the same shall be removed by scrapping and washing with wire brushes, sand etc |

| 7 | M&L for Applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint (in patches) over a coat of primer including preparation of old painted brick / stone / concrete / plaster surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10cm width or girth complete all as specified. |
| 8 | M&L for Edge Scraping of runway, PTT, Taxi tracks, Dispersal area by cutting cutting grass, vegetation, shrubs, bushes, small trees etc. manually to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge including sweeping and removal of entire rubbish/cut grass/ vegetation etc. outside MoD land complete. |
