Applying priming coat with ready mixed primer of approved brand and manufacturer at all heights over steel surfaces like structures, columns, pipes,vessels, tanks etc. as per manufacturers specifications and directions of the Engineering-in- Charge; all complete including cleaning the surface using emery papers/ Power tool cleaning such as ST-2 or ST-3 as per requirement, including all material, consumables, tools, tackles, labour etc but excludingScaffolding. Note- No. of coats mentioned in the SOR items are only indicative and contractor has to achieve rquired DFT byapplying more coats (if required) within the relevantSOR item rates.
