Scope of Work for Overhauling of Air Compressor (Model: VK-50S) of ASU-2. Phase- 01: Dismantling Activities: Dismantling of Air Compressor, viz.: 1. Coupling guard, Gear coupling & drive shaft. 2. Inlet Guide Vane (IGV). 3. Interconnecting piping/ Casing. 4. Lubrication oil piping. 5. Top cover. 6. All volute casings. 7. Back plates. 8. Rotors and Bull gear. 9. Bearings of Rotors and Bull gear. Note: Bearing Clearance to be checked before dismantling for reference. 10. Gas Seals, Mouth Ring Seals & Oil Seals. 11. MOP & auxiliaries. Note: AMNS will make necessary arrangement for low-speed balancing work of rotors and bull gear set. Approximate time: 3 Weeks. Phase: 02: Assembly of Air Compressor: Maintenance of Lubrication Oil System of Air Compressor: a. Emptying out lubrication oil tank, internal cleaning and refilling of lubrication oil tank. b. Dismantling, Cleaning & refixing of oil Filters. c. Cleaning of oil lines. Assembly of Air Compressor viz. 1. Cleaning and Inspection of removed all parts and NDT of necessary parts to be done. 2. Shifting of necessary new spare part from plant store and restore worn out spares. 3. Cleaning and Inspection (NDT of necessary parts to be done) of new spare parts for necessary replacement. 4. Overhauling of Inlet Guide Vane (IGV). 5. Assembly of all dismantled/new parts with checking and adjusting of clearances as per OEM requirement Viz. Bearing clearance, seals clearance, Gear Backless, Blue matching etc. 6. Fixing of suction & discharge volute casings. 7. Trial run of lubrication system and rectification of any abnormalities. 8. Couple with drive (Motor) and alignment as per OEM norms. 9. Fixing of gear coupling top and bottom cover of drive shaft. 10. Trail run of Air compressor within desired operating parameters. 11. Submission of detailed overhauling report (Soft copy and Hard copy) with all necessary data. 13. Overhauling Team includes, Mechanical Technicians/Fitters, Crane Operator, Engineers, Experts, Supervisors & Safety officers. 14. General tools & tackles, Special Tools Viz. Alignment Kit (If required) and precision measuring Tools required to carried out entire job. 15. Maintain safe and clean workplace during entire job execution. 16. Detailed job schedule to be submitted before starting the job and entire job should be executed round the clock (24 Hours) & completed within 6 days. 17. Job should be completed as per approved specifications, Drawings or as per direction and satisfaction of AM/NS supervisor/Area In charge. 18. Job completion certificate must be submitted and after approval of concern authority, invoice to be raised and upload in the invoice portal of AM/NS. 19. Follow AM/NS Security Access system called SCRUM at Hazira site for processing the Gate Pass (Gate pass formalities as per gate pass policy will take approx. 3 days.) 20. Lodging, boarding & transportation of Man & Material (To & Fro as well as Local Transportation includes inside plant premises). B. HSE Norms to be followed by Vendor: 1. Provide all general PPEs as per AM/NS HSE norms. 2. Comply with HSE policy as laid by AM/NS. 3. Ensure the safety of your personnel and follow all safety measures prescribed. 4. All your personnel will have to undergo HSE training. 5. Workers who perform W@H jobs have to undergo Work at Height Training to get work at height pass. 6. All your personnel will have to undergo a Medical Fitness check at our Care Nursing Home and obtain a fitness certificate. 7. All portable electrical/pneumatic tools used by vendor must be certified by an authorized engineer of AM/NS and certification must be duly valid at any point of time. 8. All the Tools & tackles and equipment used by vendor must be certified by competent authority for use in the factory. Such a certificate must be duly valid at any point of time. 9. Ensure all your personnel must be aware of the 5S process and clean the workplace at the end of a particular shift or completion of a job. 10. The movement of persons inside the plant by foot/bicycle/two wheelers is strictly prohibited, hence ensure availability of sufficient buses/vehicles for safe transportation of their associates from their place of residence to respective work location in the plant and back. C. Penalty Clause for Vendor: 1. Specific penalty of non-performance by vendor/associates and must be cardinally measured as follows: a) Non-conformity of Work. b) Noncompliance to HSE norms to be followed by Vendor (As described above). c) Violating any of the terms and conditions. Scope of Work- AMNSIL: 1. Providing necessary power, drinking water and Instrument Air. 2. Provide all necessary spares, Consumables for maintenance job. 3. Scaffolding if required. 4. Wok Permit Procedure.
