Tender For Miscellaneous Works In Elevators Of The Np Plant, Fact Cd => Limited; 1 Miscellaneous works in Elevators of the NP Plant, FACT CD 2 Replacement of damaged gear coupling of Product Elevator A in NP Plant, FACT CD:The scope of work involves organizing site arrangements and collecting the necessary chain blocks, tools, and tackles from the tool crib or store. Upon receiving clearance to commence, remove the coupling guards, disconnect the gear coupling spacer between the gearbox output shaft and the elevator sprocket shaft, and decouple the motor & gearbox. Loosen the foundation bolts of the gearbox & motor. Shift the gearbox & motor to enable the smooth removal of the coupling half.Remove the coupling halves attached to the gearbox and sprocket shaft assembly.Transport the coupling halves and spacer to the Mechanical Workshop, then bring the new components to the site and position them properly on the gearbox and the sprocket shaft assembly.Position the Gearbox and Motor.Check & correct the alignment of Sprocket-Gearbox and Gearbox-Motor units, fix the coupling spacer(gearbox and sprocket), Coupling(Gearbox-Motor), and fasten all the bolts.Reassemble coupling guards, followed by a trial run. After a successful trial, clear the site, return the chain blocks, tools, and tackles to the tool crib/store, and transport damaged or worn-out parts to the scrap yard or workshop area, as instructed by the Technician/Officer-in-Charge.Any fixture fabrication for removing/fixing/shifting of the equipments is under the scope of the contractor. If required, the bottom side sprocket assembly shall be lifted with the chain block. If delinking of chain is required, it may be carried out under the scope of Sl.No.2 of this WO. 3 Delinking and Linking of PE Chain Links and BucketsThe scope of work involves organizing site arrangements and collecting the necessary chain blocks, tools, and tackles from the tool crib or store. Upon receiving clearance to commence, top cover, boot covers, side covers, and necessary inspection doors shall be opened. The Back-stopper of the gearbox shall be removed, and suitably position the chain links and buckets by manual rotation of the elevator chain for delinking. The bottom side sprocket assembly shall be lifted with the chain block. The buckets, lock pins, and connecting pins of the links shall be removed to dismantle the chain. The contractor should refrain from using the gas-cutting torch to cut the connecting pins, bush, or sidebar. If any difficulties arise during the pin removal process, the contractor should follow the instructions of the Technician/Officer-in-Charge.After alignment process, the chain links, pins, and lock pins shall be fixed back in position. The dismantled/new buckets, side covers, bottom side sprocket assembly shall be fixed back properly.Release the chain blocks.Box-up top cover, boot covers, side covers and inspection doors. Fix the back-stopper of the gearbox and take the trial run. After a successful trial, clear the site, return the chain blocks, tools, and tackles to the tool crib/store, and transport damaged or worn-out parts to the scrap yard or workshop area, as instructed by the Technician/Officer-in-Charge. Flame cutting or heating is not allowed for de-linking the chain. 4 Disassembly & Reinstallation of RC Elevator A Motor, Gearbox, Head-end Sprocket Assembly for Base Plate Correction. The scope of work involves organizing site arrangements and collecting the necessary chain blocks, tools, and tackles from the tool crib or store. Upon receiving clearance to commence, top cover, boot covers, side covers, and necessary doors shall be opened.
