    Tender For Purchase Of Point Load Tester; Daylight opening-  horizontal- 100 mm (minimum)  vertical- 125 mm (minimum) 2 Loading capacity- 100 kN 3 Load sensor precision- accuracy better than 1% Loading sensor resolution- 0.1 kN 4 Maximum Displacement of the Conical Loading Platens- 50 mm 5 Data acquisition system-  Digital electronic data acquisition setup and software  System includes a meter display to read the applied load and deformation  System should automatically save and record the applied load and deformation data 6 Displacement/deformation sensor-  A displacement sensor (LVDT—linear variable differential transformer) should be installed to measure the distance between the conical platens which is necessary for calculating the corrected point load strength index. 7 Displacement/deformation sensor precision- accuracy better than 1% 8 Operating temperature- room temperature 9 Constructing Material-  An apparatus should be constructed from high-strength (nonrusting) metallic material.  Light and compact 10 Additional requirement-  Brazilian test loading platens and frame (with curve/flat platens) for different core sizes.  Operational manual  Carrying case 11 Shape and size of specimens Equipment should able to perform various specimens shape (core and irregular) and core size (25-60 mm diameter), including diametrical and axial cores sample, as well as irregular samples. 12 Warranty-  Minimum three year manufacturing warranty on parts and service  Extended warranty up to 5 years on parts and service.
