Tender For Supplying And Installation Of Machines / Instruments In Tile Section At Technical Laboratory, Mcd, Alipur Road, Civil Lines, Delhi-110054.; 1 MOR apparatus (Capable for 600mmx600mm dimension of tiles) as per IS: 13630:P6:2019, and 2nd rev. Machine/Instrument details :- Two Cylindrical Support Rods – It shall be made of metal and the parts in contact with the test specimen shall be covered with rubber having a hardness of 50 ± 5 IRHD, measured in accordance with IS 3400 (part 2). One rod shall be slightly pivotable and the other shall be slightly rotatable about its own axis. Central Cylindrical Rod – It shall be of the same diameter as the support rods and covered with similar rubber, which transmits the load. This rod shall also be slightly pivotable. Diameter of the road : 20 ± 1mm Thickness of rubber : 5± 1mm Overlapping of tile beyond the edge supports 10 ± 1mm (a) With touch screen control panel and automatic pace rates control to obtain a rate of increase of stress of 1± 0.2 N/mm square/ second, Capacity 500 kgf, Least count 0.1 kgf with adjustable test span to accommodate different sizes of tiles specimen up to 600mmx600mm dimension & thickness of up to 12mm. 2 Scratch hardness test kit according to mohs’ scale as per IS 13630:P-13:2019, 2nd rev 3 Calibrated Thermal Expansion Apparatus as per IS 13630: P-4:2019, 2nd rev. Machine/Instrument details:- The apparatus should be capable of heating at the rate of (5±1) oC/min with uniform distribution of heat to 20 nos. of test specimen of 600mmx600mm dimensions: (a) Certain types of apparatus require a soaking time at 100 oC. (b) Desiccator for 20 nos. of test specimen. 4 Determination of resistance to thermal shock Low Temperature Bath (Capable for 600mmx600mm dimension of Tiles) as per IS 13630: P-5:2019, 2nd rev. Machine / Instrument details: - The apparatus should be capable of cold water flow at 15 ±5 oC : (a) Testing with Immersion:- Bath for immersion test should not be covered and is of sufficient depth to allow the tiles to be placed vertically and immersed completely. (b) Testing without immersion–The bath for without immersion test should be covered with a 5 mm thick aluminum plate in such manner that the water directed towards the surface is in contact with the plate. Covering the aluminum plate with a layer of aluminum grains approximately 5 mm thick with diameters in the range of 0.3 mm to 0.6 mm. (c) Oven inside dimension of 900mm X 650mm X 650 mm (H x W x B) capable of reaching 145 oC -150 oC in 20 minutes (as per IS 13630:P-5:2019, 2nd rev). 5 Water bath capable for holding of 20 specimens of tiles of size 600mm x 600mm ,which are fully dipped in vertical position.
