| 3 | M&L for laying and compacting 75mm thick (compacted thickness) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) grading as per table 400-13 of MoRTH specifications for road and bridge works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vobratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight and consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.The finished surface tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for road and bridge works 2013. |
| 4 | M & L for preparing unsurfaced Wet mix Macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with booms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming coat with bituminous primer (VG-10) at 10 kg per 10 Sqm. |
| 5 | Providing and layingPremix Bituminous macadam of consolidated thickness exc 50mm and n.exc 75mm, using paving bitumen binder of grade VG-30 and binder content of 4% by weight of total mix with mixing of aggregates and VG-30 bitumen in electronic operated 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant, transporting the hot mix from HMP to work site by tippers and laying with hydrostatic paver finisher (Paver shall not be compulsory in case of patch work using B.M.) and as per approved mix and rolled & compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller, complete all as per Clause 504 MoRTH (5th Rev) specification and as specified and directed. Note : 1. The contractor shall quote the rate against Item considering 4% VG-30 bitumen content. Job Mix Formula as per clause No 505.3.3 of MORTH (5th Rev) for BM shall be carried out from any Govt Engg College Laboratory/ MES approved laboratory for obtaining optimum binder content (OBC) by the Contractor without any financial effect to the Dept and same be submitted to the accepting officer for approval. The cost for design mix thereof shall be deemed to be included in quoted unit rate. Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted @ 42/kg of binder and no adjustment shall be made on plus side.2.The BM shall be covered with top layer/wearing course within in a maximum of 48 hours. If ther is to be any delay, by the contractor the course shall be covered by seal coat to the requirement of Clause 512 of MORTH (5th Rev) before opening to the traffic. The seal coat in such cases shall be considered incidental to the work and shall not be paid for separately. |

After spreading of mix as per clause 507.4.7 entire surface during the operation shall be rolled with road roller 8-10 tonne (smooth wheeled) followed with vibratory road roller of 8-10 tonne static weight, followed by finished rolling with 6 to 8 tonne smooth wheel tendom roller as per Clause Nos. 507.4.8 and cost of the same is deemed to be included in quoted unit rate. |

| 8 | M&L for providing 2.5mm thick road marking strips (reflective) of specified shade/colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine, fitted with profitle shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heaters, drivenby skilled operator on road surface including cost of material (painting material @ 5 Kg/Sqm) and glass beads 250 gm/Sqm conforming to Clause No 803.4 of MoRTH in strips of 100/150mm width on road surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Enginer-in-Charge. |
