| 1 | Cleaning of RCC Over Head Reservoir of capacity 50000 Glns as described below :i) Before starting the cleaning of Over Head Reservoir, distribution line from OH tank is to be disconnected and plugged with suitable fitting. After cleaning, pluggedlineshould be washed out and connected to the distribution pipe line as per existing position. Cost of required earth work and excavation at places is deemed to be included in item rate quoted by the contractor.ii)The inner surface of the walls and ceiling of the tank shall be cleaned with high pressure jet pump after emptying the water in the tank. iii)After thorough cleaning of the tank, thecleaning water and sludge is to be removed by using pump and the sludge has to be disposed off at a place as directed.iv)After removing the sludge from tank, the tank shall be first cleaned thoroughly by using high pressure water pump and againthe floor and inner surfaces of the tank shall be cleaned by using a industrial vaccum cleaner and the tank shall be made fully dirt free.v)After making the tank dirt free, the inner surfaces of walls and ceiling of the tank shall be treated with anti bacterial agents. (vi) After the treatment as mentioned at (iv) above, the inner surfaces of walls and ceiling shall be treated with UV Radiator. |
