Tender For Civil Works - Provision Of Standby Supply For Certain Hangars At Af Stn Palam Under Ge(Af) Palam, Delhi Cantt-10; 1.00 Supply, installing, testing and commissioning of oudoor type 400 KVA Silent Diesel Generating set consisting of engine, alternator, (coupled together), AMF Panel 415 Volts, 50 Hz, 04 wire 0.8 PF with acoustic enclosure alongwith retrofit device conforming to latest CPCB norms on a common base frame including AMF Panel and all connected items etc with following specifications:- (A) ALTERNATOR:- Standard design alternator rated at 400 KVA/50 KW net output at site as per site condition conforming to IS: 4722 at power factor 0.8, AC 3 Phase, 4 wire, 415 volts, 50 cycles, 1500 RPM, self excited, self regulated through an AVR screen protected, drip proof IP:23 enclosure brushless design, winding in each pole faces insulating class H (+) 1.5% voltage regulation (max) in static conditions including permanent lubricated sealed bearing. The alternator shall be in position to generate supply with frequency regulation with in (+) 1% tolerance and permissible overload of 10% for one hour in 12 hrs of operation. The alternator shall be conforming to BS 2613/5000, IS: 13364 and the alternator shall be suitable for tropical climate and shall generally confirm to BS - 2613/5000/ IS - 4722. (B) DIESEL ENGINE:- Diesel engine of electric start, water cooled, 1500 RPM and suitable to drive above alternator independently. Engine directly coupled with above alternator by flexible coupling. Engine shall be multi cylinder, Four stroke, direct injection, cold starting, and conforming to as per relevant ISI/BS -10001/10002/ 5514 with an overload capacity of 10% for half an hour in 12 hours continuous running complete with standard accessories all as specified and required for safe handling and operation salient features of accessories shall be as under:- (a) Batteries of capacity as recommended by manufacturers complete with initial charging. (b) Exhaust System:- Silencer complete with exhaust piping of suitable size adequate for safe exhaust along with turbocharger, flexible below, companion flanges complete. (c) Engine protection devices including audio, indicators and cut off system during following instances:- (i) Low lubricating oil pressure. (ii) High coolant temperature. (iii) Over speeding of engine. (iv) Battery charging indicator. (v) Fuel Tank with locking arrangements of storage capacity not less than 12 hrs continuous run at full load with level indicating arrangements, stop cock, drain plug and fuel supply GI piping from tank to pump including return of over flow. (vi) 24 Volts DC electric starter and 24 volts DC battery charging alternator. (vii) Engine instrument panel consist of Start Switch, Electric Lub oil pressure gauge, Electric water temperature gauge, Electric hour meter, Battery charging indicator, Belt failure indication and Magnetic Pick-up fail indication etc. (viii) Suitable base frame for mounting complete unit of engine and alternator with anti vibration pads (ix) Air intake system shall be air intake manifold and dry type air cleaner (C) AMF PANEL : AMF panel board indoor type suitable for 400 KVA DG set made out of CRCA sheet of 2 mm thick totally enclosed, weather, dust and vermin proof with front and rear opening rated voltage 440 volts, 3 phase 4 wire, 50 cycles, having 04 strip aluminium bus bar of capacity 1.5 times the full load current of alternator, duly colour coded with coloured heat shrinkable PVC sleeves suitable on load changeover for bypass arrangement of main supply and DG Supply including two coats of finishing Siemens gray paint over one coat of primer red oxide suitable for and including frequency meter, volt meters and amp meters with selector switches along with following controls and components:- (i) CONTROLS:- Contactor ON indication, Contactor OFF indication, Engine start push button. (ii) BREAKER:- Two Nos. Electrically operated contactor 3 pole of suitable capacity for DG set and Main supply complete. (iii) BATTERY CHARGER:- Battery charger consist of transformer, rectifier, DC volt meter, Amp meter, float/boost charging facility with range selector switch etc. (iv) RELAYS:- One set of Microprocessor based Relay for AMF logic. (v) By Pass arrangement :- One on load change over switch suitable capacity of DG set main supply and by pass arrangement for Main, DG Sets (D) FOUNDATION : Suitable size of foundation not less than 45 cm height above ground level as per the design and direction of manufacturer to installed DG set. Excavation, earth work, PCC and brick work etc shall be included in the quoted rate. Note :- Excavation, earth work, PCC, brick work and 04 Nos strip earthing of size 32x6mm, incl necessary cable connection from LT Panel to DG set etc shall be included in the quoted rate. 2.00 M&L for earthing in replacement of galvanized mild steel earth plate electrode of size (60cm x 60cm) x 6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr below ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 Mtrs below ground level connected to GI strip (32x6)mm as earth lead by means of nuts, bolts, thimbles, check nuts, washers of GI or steel, including PCC (concrete chamber) shall be PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, with fair finish internal surface of concrete chamber shall be given 15mm thick plaster in CM (1:4), funnel with wire gauge mesh, 80 mm thick RCC pit cover (320 mm x 320 mm) of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with XPM, JALLI and charcoal dust and common salt all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I (2009) and specified including provision of GI strip protected by 40 mm dia medium grade pipe and watering pipe shall be 20mm bore medium grade, and including all excavation and earth work & connecting the earthing to an earthing test point complete all as specified & as directed by Engr-in-Charge. 3.00 Supplying, laying, connecting up and testing LT 1100 volts grade XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded electric power cable (heavy duty) galvanised steel strip armoured with stranded aluminium conductor 120 Sqmm 3.5 core laid in trenches/ ducts fixed to wall/pole/inside panel drawn through pipe etc complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Excavation, earthwork, protection ef cable etc shall be measured and paid respectively under respective items of BOQ. 4.00 Supplying, laying, connecting up and testing LT 1100 volts grade XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded electric power cable (heavy duty) galvanised steel strip armoured with stranded aluminium conductor 400 Sqmm 3.5 core laid in trenches/ ducts fixed to wall/pole/inside panel drawn through pipe etc complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Excavation, earthwork, protection ef cable etc shall be measured and paid respectively under respective items of BOQ. 5.00 Excavation in trenches n exc 1.5m in depth and 1.5m in width and getting out in soft/loose soil for laying of cable complete all as specified and as directed. 6.00 Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick after the cable have been laid in trenches and testing complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 7.00 Removal of excavated surplus soil to a distance not exc. 50 Mtrs and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 Mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. 8.00 M&L for sand cushioning to under ground cable provided with layer of sand (8cm deep before laying the cable and 15 cm deep after laying the cable ie total 23 cm) complete and below 2 pole/ 4 pole structures and filling of ducts etc., complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. 9.00 M&L for brick laid in trenches for cable protection of burnt clay sub class ‘B’ complete laid dry flat complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.
