Cost of catering services consisting of manpower, welfare expenses (e.g. uniform, shoes, helmets, disposal caps and gloves) periodical medical checkup expenses (vaccines for Typhoid, malaria, and Hepatitis B) cleaning material and aids. 2. Dining equipment like AP spoon, SS Glass, Fork, Teaspoon, SS Lunch Tray, SS Snacks Tray, Service tray, Water Jugs and kitchen equipment like Chopping board, knife, Graters, SS Gamla, Pakhala Bowl, Iron Dabu, Iron Jhara, Soup strainer, Bread tongue etc. which are consumable in nature are to be provided by contractor. 3. Housekeeping charges will be borne by the contractor. 4. LPG charges will be borne by the contractor. 5. Deputing qualified and experienced manpower for catering, cleaning, and upkeep of the canteen. 6. Providing cooked food items as per the menu provided to contractor time to time by AM/NS and charges from the purchaser the predetermined rates (as per costing) from purchaser. 7. The contractor to provide 3 sets of uniforms including an apron, head caps, name plates for service folks etc. all the time to his employees. 8. Maintaining at least 15 days of groceries at store. 9. Maintaining sufficient stock of vegetables and cleaning materials to be stacked in respective storeroom. 10. Norms of food safety and hygiene to be maintained by contractor. A food license is to be provided by the contractor. 11. Name plates for the service staff to be provided. Personnel working inside kitchen, embroidery name plate can be made to avoid food contamination. 12. Periodic food test (cooked and raw food) cost from a recognized laboratory to be borne by the contractor in every six months. 13. FOSTAC training cost for the food handlers is to be borne by the contractor. 14. The contractor has to ensure annual health and hygiene audit is being conducted by a Govt. agency. 15. All statutory compliances to be done by the contractor, PF/registration/ permission of canteen operation etc. 16. Ensuring safe drinking water at all times. 17. Fulfilling all the statutory obligations as a contractor complying with the minimum wages act, PF act, Bonus act, ESI act etc. and all other acts applicable from time to time. 18. Contract Period: The contract shall be valid for a period of one year from date of mobilization Termination of the contract: 1. AM/NS reserves the right to terminate the contract by giving one month notice in case of unsatisfactory performance of the contractor and / or frequent problems with the services. 2. AM/NS also reserves the right to terminate the contract by giving one month notice in case the services are not required. Billing and Payment: Payment will be made on actual basis and not on the purchase order quantity. If the services are not available on any particular day/s proportionate deduction of payment shall be applicable basis the total number of working days in that particular month. The vendor shall submit the monthly invoice with all the necessary supporting documents duly signed on/before 5th of every month without any fail. Taxes and Duties: Necessary tax registration, if any, for site actively shall be done by contractor, and cost to be included in the mentioned prices. Non-vegetarian and vegetarian items should be stored separately. 5- A high standard of catering shall be maintained for all items with due regard to quality and purity of food stuff, quality and quantity of dishes, cleanliness in preparation and handling of food items and utmost courtesy services. All the materials used in preparation for food items should be standard brands. Double refined first quality sunflower oil should be used for cooking. All food items should be ISI certified and branded. 6- The caterer should ensure that the entire catering premises are kept hygienic and clean. 7- Cleanliness, garbage disposal of the service areas/production areas and the toilets shall be the responsibility of the caterer. 8- Cleaning of the plates and utensils should be done with hot water, soap water and all items should be cleaned and dried. 9- Vegetables should be sanitized properly before storing it in freeze/cooking. 10- Penalty as decided by the AM/NS, will be imposed on the caterer: • If there is any dereliction/irregularity in service or delay in service. • If the food supplied by the caterer is substandard/non-quality or insufficient. • If more than 50% of the total participants/staff/guests rate the service provided by the caterer as either average or poor. 11- The penalty will be recovered directly from the bill of the caterer and AM/NS shall be final. 12- The caterer shall be solely responsible for any consequences due to food poisoning. Besides refusal of the entire payment for the sessions, during which such food poisoning has occurred, the AM/NS may initiate further stringent action, as it may deem fit. 13- If it is found there is laxity on the part of the contractor on maintenance of proper hygiene in canteen operations at the kitchen/dining hall/personnel handling the food items/surroundings, leaving, or storing the crockery and cutleries in places other than the proper locations, stains found due to improper cleaning of plates, utensils, water glasses, serving platforms etc. penalty may be levied for each of such violations. The decision of the AM/NS is final and binding on the contractor. 14- The canteen has to be operated only during the timing as decided by the AM/NS management for breakfast, lunch, and evening snacks. However, tea and beverages will be served as required during the day. 15- The contractor shall also ensure to engage persons whose character and antecedents have been verified by him. If any employe(s) engaged by the contractor is found misbehaving with plant premises under any circumstances, the AM/NS may ask the contractor to replace such employee(s) and the contractor shall immediately comply with such instructions. 16- Contractor has to follow and abide by the existing security and safety rules/regulations/precautions and all the safety codes required for the job/s while at service inside the plant premises. The contractor shall ensure to work safely while handling LPG gas bank and cooking ranges, electrical appliances etc. to prevent any accident. 17- Contractor has to indemnify AM/NS against all losses or claims arising out of any mal operations or accidents resulting in loss of property of life while at work inside the plant premises.
