| 5 | Providing and fixing ofstanderd metal delinators as per IRC 79-2019 consisting of minimum retro reflective unit exposed area of 330 square cm in white clor, full cube corner micro prismatic non-metalic retroreflective sheeting on each side confirming with IRC 67 2012 and meeting the coeficient of retro reflection values as per ASTM D 4956 Type 11 table specification.The delinator shall be painted with powder coat of minium 40 microns thickness on top of which retro reflective sheeting shall be pasted on both sides.The structure shall be manufactured in roll forming process and shall have height not less than 800 mm above the ground, which not less than 100 mm and shall extend not more than 300 mm below the ground while being installed. The front and back faces of the delinator should be curved with a redius of not more than 200 mm and with a delta angle (or central angle of curve) lying between 20 degree and 30 degree to increase the visibility of the delinator for vehicles moving in continuos curve.The delinators is meant for application on gaps in median, traffic islands, dangerous bends, roundabouts, narrow bridges etc. or as desired by site engineer. |
