Tender For Provision Of Providing Standby Power Supply To Certain Locations At Aftc; 1 Excavation in trenches for laying under ground cable, errection of poles and stays in any type of soil not exceeding 1.5 meter wide and not exceeding 1.5 meter deep and getting out complete all as specified and directed. 2 Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed. 3 Removing surplus excavated material to a distance not exceeding 50 meter and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5 cm above the starting point complete all as specified and directed. 4 Material and labour for Spreading ribbed soil in trenches as in cable cushioning all as per IS 1255-1983, complete all as specified and directed.Note :- (i)Excavated approved soil shall be ribbed by using sieve to separate composite particles etc. as per IS and refilling in trenches before laying of cable 8 CM and 15 CM after laying of cable. This is then gently punned down to a depth of 10 cm above the top of upper most cable (ii) For the purpose of measurement only punned thickness shall be considered for payment. 5 M & L for Bricks covering with width equal to length of brick as mechanical protection to cable with well burnt sub class ‘B’ bricks laid dry flat complete all as specified and directed. 6 M& LforGI tubing light grade of size 100 mm dia fixed on walls / laid in trenches as protection pipe for under ground cable including provisioning of specials and clamps etc complete all as speified and directed.Note - Excavation and earth work to be paid separately in respective items. 7 Material and labour for Cutting existing road/PCC/Drain for laying of GI or any type of pipe including necessary earthwork, excavation exc 600mm depth but not exc 1mtr depth, 800 mm wide including making good existing surface with 150 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, complete all as specified and directed. Note :-The tenderer shall take into consideration for following points while quoting rate for this item andthe unit rate is deemed to be inclusive for :-(i) Earth work and excavation in any type of soil(ii) Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed.(iii) Removing excavated material to out side MD.(iv)Laying of any type/any bore of pipe in trenches including taking down. Make:- Havells/ Polycab/ RPG Asian/KEINote - Earthwork and bricks to be paid separately in respective items. 9 Material and labour in repair for 3 ½ core 95 Sqmm XLPE insulated heavy duty electric cable with aluminium multi stranded conductor 1100 volts grade served with an inner sheathing of PVC tape armoured with galvanised steel wire or tape and overall sheathed laying in trenches/cable ducts, fixed to wall/pole, complete all as specified and directed.Make:- Havells/ Polycab/ RPG Asian/KEI Note - Earthwork and bricks to be paid separately in respective items. 10 Supply, installation,commissioning and testing of factory assembled ,floor mounted ,free standing type tested LT Feeder pillar panel,with canopy ,as per electrical specifications for outdoor installation to be made of IP65 Polycarbonate modular enclosures. The enclosures made of polycrabonate,should be weather, vermin proof, anti -acid,anti-corrossive,UV resistance in accordance with IEC 61439-1,fire retardant and self extingushing in accordance with IEC 60695-2-11 ,UL subject 94 for flammability V-0, should pass glow wire test for 960 degree in accoardance with 60695-2-11.Degree of protection against mechanical load should be IK08 (5 Joule) in accordance with IEC 62262,IP65 in accordance with IEC-60529 and IEC- 60439-1, should have dielectric properties ,RoHS compliants & Halogen free. The manufacturer of boards/panels shall submit a copy oftype test reports as per above mentioned norms either from UL/ERDA/CPRI/NABL labs in india.The panel should be modular and compartmentalized in construction with opaque and transparent doors, properly tight to base with thromoplastic screw having sealing gaskets of extruded silicon rubber to withstand adverse weather effects. The depth of modular encloser should be minimum 200mm for air circulation & to minimize temp rise. Panel shallbe fitted with one No. ofpolycarbonate IP 65 9 W LED transperent bulk head luminaire 6500K,PF >0.95 under canopy for easy maintenance . Panel should be fitted outside with one No. of 16 Amp 3 Pole IP65 industrial socket and 01 No. of 32 Amp 5P IP 65 industrial socket. 3 Phase and neutral 600 Amp current carrying capacity of aluminium bus bar insulated with colour coded heat shrinkable sleeves with SMC/DMC insulators,complete with the following swtich gears and mounting the panel board on ground with PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate for bedding upto a height of 45 CM above ground level ,including dismanting and taking out old U/s LT panel board and reconnecting existing LT UG Cable with new panel board, complete all as specified and directed :- 11 (a) MCCB with thermal magnetic release 4 Pole, 415 V of capacity 400 Amp, 36 KA- 01 No (Incomer). (iii) Make of Switch gear : Schneider/L&T/C&S.(iv) MCCB should be ICu =100% ICs.(v) Make of LT Panel/FPB shall be asmentioned in list of makes (PS). 29 Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of maintenance free chemicalearthing system comprising of 17mm dia copper bondedrod 3 mtr long horizontally pre welded T-terminal rod with provision for connection size of 50 x 150mm long, 6mm thickness with equal space either side, with 12mm dia hole of 02 numbers each on either side of the terminal clamp with 250 microns (average) coating thickness, tested and certified by CPRI India alongwith 50 Kg earth energizer compound and 10 litres earth resistance reducingliquid. The earthing energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be tested as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTM G57-06, CI 3.4 A by any NABL accredited lab. The above mentioned rod shall be installed in 4-6 inch bore, 12 feet depth with a distance of minimum 3 meters between each installation including taking down existing one, complete all as specified and directed.Make : Model HTSP 317 of safeTrode or equivalent in OBO Betterman/ FURSE/ERICO. 30 The quoted rate shall also deemed to be included the following :- (i)Prior toinstallation of maintenance free chemicalearthing, soil resistivity test to be carried out at the location where earthingwork to be donein presence of Engr-in- Charge/JE (E/M),user and the report has tosubmitto Garrison Engineer with recommendation of manufacturer, if required additional interconnection ofearthing (not more than 04 number of earthing) to achive earth result less then 1 Ohms. The arrangement done for soil resistivity testingandsubmission of report with recommendationdeemed to be included in the quoted rate. 31 (ii) The description/ size/ qty of items mentioned in above are for indicating only however qty/ size may vary at site condition to maintain the earth resistance 1 ohm. The contractor shall quote rate by considering all factors. 32 (iii) Rateofearth energizer compound of 25 Kg of 02 bags and earthresistance reducingliquid 10 litre per cane for each pit deemed to be included in the quoted rate. 33 (iv)Resistivity of earth energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be certified by any NABL accredited lab carried out as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTMG57-06, CI-3.4A and the certificate of same shall be submitted by the contractor before commencement of work. 34 (v) Earth enhancing material should not leach into the adjacent soil or underground water channels and its PH value should be in neutral range complete all as specified and as directed. It should solidify when mixed with water and set like concrete. 35 (vi) Copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm shouldbe fixed on proper post insulator at the instrument end ( copper strip upto 7.5 RM will be considered in unit quoted rate and extra will be measured and paid separately). 36 (vii)Testing of earth shall be carriedout in presence ofdepartmental and user representativeand report shall be submitted to Garrison Engineer duly signed by all concerned. 37 (viii)Earth resistance tester will be provided by the contractor.Tester should be calibrated from authorised company/ lab. 38 (ix)Earthing shall be tested after completion of work by the contractor in presence of Engr-in-charge, user and proper record shall be maintened duly signed by all concerned.After testing if the desired earth resistance of less than 1 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt. till desired result is obtained. 39 (x) The contractor shall give a written guarantee of minimum three years for maintaining the earth resistance less than 1 Ohm after certified date of completion. 40 (xi) No further maintenance or periodic watering or recharge shall be required in earthing during its guarantee period of over 03 years in all type of soil including soft/ disintegrated or hard rock. 41 (xii) During the guarantee period, if earth resistance is not maintained less than 1 ohm the contractor has to redo or rectify at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is maintained. 42 (xiii) A security deposit of value equal to 2.5 % of the rate quoted for chemical earthing shall be retained from payment due to the contractor from final bill for the guarantee period. 43 (xiv) The electrode shallcarry manufacturers name . 44 (xv) The connection clamp shall be permanentlly welded to the copper boundedrodto avoid any kind of connectivity loss,.The pre-welded copper bounded rod shall not need any additional clamp for termination. 45 (xvi) The acceptable earth resistance at earth busbar/ test point shall not be more than 0.1 ohm. 46 (xvii)Earth work such as auguring andmaking good the surrounding area shall carried out in any type of soil. 47 (xviii)The contractor shall submit CPRI India certified document for copper bonded rod to ensure genuity of material. 48 (xix) Sign boardof mild steel 2 mm thick duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxideZinc chrome primer showing result of earthing should be fixed near the earth pit after completion as directed by engr -in- charge. 49 Material and labour for Earth pit cover madeof heavy duty poly plastic of high grade polypropylene tested and certified by any NABL accredited lab for load bearing capacity not less than 9.2 tonnes with top dia not less than 250mm, bottom dia not less than 330 mm and height not less than 260 mm dia for each electrode pit complete including taking down all as specified and directed. Make : Model SEPC 250 of SAFE TRODE/ Electrogrip Model/ EGTEK3LC of ISG Global or equivalent. Note :- The contractor shall submit load bearing capacity certificate from the manufacturer. 50 Material and labour as in repair for Earthpit indicator for existing earthing pit made out of 16 mm dia and 60 cm long MS Squre Bar embeded in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate in PCC block of size 30 X30 X30 cm including CI/MS plate of size 250X300X 3 mm thick fixed on side of earth pit cover complete painting and writingover the plate ie. Type , Result, Date of measurement and pit numberwith Black back ground with white letters and complete all as specified and as directed. 51 S&F Copper strip 20 x 3mm thickas in earthing lead fixed to wall/roofs etc including taking down existing one all as directed. The enclosures made of polycrabonate,should be weather, vermin proof, anti -acid,anti-corrossive,UV resistance in accordance with IEC 61439-1,fire retardant and self extingushing in accordance with IEC 60695-2-11 ,UL subject 94 for flammability V-0, should pass glow wire test for 960 degree in accoardance with 60695-2-11.Degree of protection against mechanical load should be IK08 (5 Joule) in accordance with IEC 62262,IP65 in accordance with IEC-60529 and IEC- 60439-1, should have dielectric properties ,RoHS compliants & Halogen free. The manufacturer of boards/panels shall submit a copy oftype test reports as per above mentioned norms either from UL/ERDA/CPRI/NABL labs in india.The panel should be modular and compartmentalized in construction with opaque and transparent doors, properly tight to base with thromoplastic screw having sealing gaskets of extruded silicon rubber to withstand adverse weather effects. The depth of modular encloser should be minimum 200mm for air circulation & to minimize temp rise. Panel shallbe fitted with one No. ofpolycarbonate IP 65 9 W LED transperent bulk head luminaire 6500K,PF >0.95 under canopy for easy maintenance . Panel should be fitted outside with one No. of 16 Amp 3 Pole IP65 industrial socket and 01 No. of 32 Amp 5P IP 65 industrial socket. 3 Phase and neutral 100 Amp current carrying capacity of aluminium bus bar insulated with colour coded heat shrinkable sleeves with SMC/DMC insulators,complete with the following swtich gears and mounting the panel board on ground with PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate for bedding upto a height of 45 CM above ground level ,including dismanting and taking out old U/s LT panel board and reconnecting existing LT UG Cable with new panel board, complete all as specified and directed :- 53 (a) MCCB with thermal magnetic release 4 Pole, 415 V of capacity 63 Amp, 16 KA- 01 No (Incomer). (b) Change over switch 100 Amp, 4P front operated-01 No(c) MCCB with thermal magnetic release 4 Pole, 415 V of capacity 40 Amp, 10 KA- 03 Nos(O/G).(d) MCB SPN, 240 V of capacity 40 Amps, 10 KA- 01 No.(e) Multifunction Meter (V,I,PF) with suitable capacity of CTs- 01 No.(f) Indicating lamp (R-Y-B) set LED type with backup MCB for 3 Phase Supply - 01 set(g) Space for spare feeder - 01 No. Note :-(i) The Contractor shall submit the drawing for approval of GE before executing the work.(ii) Insulators, bus bar sleeves, lugs, gland etc including complete wiring with suitable size of copper wire are all inclusive in unit quoted rate.
