Fabrication of Water Circulation Tank a)The vendor shall fabricate the water circulation tank using mild steel (MS) as per the provided design and drawing specifications. b)All materials used for fabrication must conform to the applicable standards (e.g., IS/ASTM standards for mild steel). c)The tank must be fabricated to handle operational conditions, including exposure to acidic rinse water and a temperature of 120°C. d)Welding, structural integrity, and overall workmanship shall adhere to industry best practices and standards to ensure durability and leak-proof performance. e)The fabricated tank surface shall be prepared through sandblasting or other suitable methods to ensure a clean and rough surface for optimal adhesion of the rubber lining. 2. Rubber Lining with natural Rubber and 38 mm brick lining inside tank a)The vendor shall apply a high-quality natural rubber lining, 38 brick lining and selant for brick lining specifically designed to: 1.Withstand continuous exposure to acidic rinse water. 2.Endure temperatures up to 120°C. 3.Resist chemical degradation and wear under the operational conditions. b)The rubber lining thickness, composition, and quality shall comply with the project specifications and meet industry standards for similar applications. c)The lining must be applied uniformly and bonded securely to the internal surfaces of the tank to ensure long-term durability. 3. Inspection and Testing The vendor shall conduct the following inspections and tests to verify the quality and performance of the tank and rubber lining: 1.Visual Inspection: Ensure uniformity in application and detect defects such as blisters, pinholes, or cracks. 2.Adhesion Test: Confirm the bond strength between the neoprene rubber and MS surface. 3.Chemical Resistance Test: Validate the lining’s ability to withstand acidic rinse water. 4.Leak Test: Conduct hydrostatic or pneumatic testing to confirm the tank’s integrity and leak-proof performance. 4. Life Expectancy and Warranty a)The vendor shall provide a guaranteed life expectancy for the tank and rubber lining under the specified operating conditions. b)The minimum guaranteed life expectancy of the rubber lining <(>&<)> brick lining shall be 5 years. c)A warranty period shall be provided, covering defects in materials and workmanship. 5. Documentation and Compliance The vendor shall submit the following: a)Material test certificates for mild steel, natural rubber, and other components used. b)Details of surface preparation, lining application, and testing procedures. c)Operation and maintenance guidelines for the tank. d)Warranty documentation. 6. Acceptance Criteria The tank will be accepted only after successful completion of inspections, tests, and review of documentation by the client.
