Bids Are Invited For proteomic analysis and detailed bioinformatics of boar semen samples. 1. Label free quantitative proteomics analysis of boar sperm and detailed bioinformatics analysis: 2. Extraction and digestion of proteins, mass spectrometry (MS/MS), searching of MS/MS data against the swine reference proteome data base, protein identification, bioinformatics’ analysis, and network generation (Protein class analysis of differentially expressed proteins based on molecular functions, biological process, and cellular component, protein-protein interaction (PPI) network, volcano plot among different groups, heat map, expression fold chain, annotation, volcano plot, PCA plots, PLS-DA, ven diagrams, principle component analysis etc.) • Extraction of sperm proteins should be done using standard protocols and should be carried out using a combination of solvents to extract maximum proteins. Seminal gel free sperm protein extraction and analysis should be done. • The bidder/firm has to provide all the standards required for analysis. • Method development and validation is must to do before samples processing. • Customized databases should also be included. • Shall perform expression studies and comparative studies including 01 pack (09 samples) indicating the number of proteins identified etc. • Online data (minimum 2 GB data per sample) and report should be presented to the client after the completion of the project. • Firm should perform repeat testing of samples which fails QC and/or on producing unsatisfactory results, free of cost. • Sample collection and appropriate transportation should be performed by the firm/bidder from the laboratory at ICAR-NRC on Pig. • The firm should undertake the extraction of proteins from the samples provided by the laboratory using standard protocols. • Service provider must have facility for the quoted service and bioinformatics team for analysis of data.
