Dismantling of gear coupling shaft after opening of flange bolts from both end side (Generator side & gear box side) and kept on erection bay.2. Dismantling of 06 Nos. bearing pads from the Machines No.-3 after dismantling of bearing housing.3. Rebabbitting of 06 Nos. guide bearing pads (size: 150 mm x 100 mm) as per the following scope of work. a) Removing old white metal from pads.b) Cleaning of pads by suitable cleaning agents.c) Rebabbitting of 06 nos. bearing pads as per site requirement (White or babbitt metal same grade/composition) exiting pads is to be used.d) Machining of pads.e) Carrying out DP test, UT test to check proper bonding of material and detect any below holes. e) Lapping & blue matching of contact area of bearing pads with generator drive end shaft (approximant 90% cantact area between bearing pads and surface of generator drive end shaft should be matched.) .4. After Rebabbitting, fitting of all bearing pads at proper place in machine no.-3 as per site requirement and alignment of same with shaft.5. Fixing of gear coupling shaft with tightening of flange bolts from both end side (Generator side & gear box side).6. Testing of machine no-3 after fitting 06 Nos. bearing.
