In the new construction, there is a dedicated room for position of HT and LT panels. To provide non slippery surface and protect against electrical leakage, it was proposed to go for PU based Epoxy flooring to an area of 900 sqm. Scope of work:- This scope of work involves the Surface (Floor) Preparation, Supply and Apply of PU Epoxy Paint with required tools and tackles for the newly Constructed Panel Room of Pressure Filter-5. The system will ensure Ease in Movement and Maintenance of all the LT and HT panels. Surface Preparation:- • Cleaning of surfaces: All surfaces to be painted will be thoroughly cleaned. This will include removal of dirt, grease, oil, loose debris, and any foreign materials to ensure proper adhesion. • Floor needs to grinded/ leveled and cleaned. • Drying: All surfaces will be allowed to dry completely before applying any primer or paint. • Inspection: Ensure that all surfaces meet the required conditions before proceeding with priming. • Rust removal (if applicable): Use mechanical tools (such as wire brushing, sandblasting, or grinding) to remove any rust or corrosion on metal surfaces. • Approval from AMNS engineers needs to be taken before going for painting. Priming • Selection of Primer: Apply an appropriate epoxy-based primer suitable for use with PU epoxy paint and the surface material (concrete, metal, etc.). The primer must be compatible with the epoxy topcoat. • Application of Primer: Primer will be applied using suitable methods such as brushing, rolling, or spraying. The primer coat must be uniform, ensuring proper coverage of all surfaces. • Curing Time: Sufficient time will be allowed for the primer to cure based on the manufacturers recommendations. Supply and Application of PU Epoxy Paint • Material Supply: The contractor is responsible for supplying all required paint materials, including the PU epoxy paint, hardeners, thinners, and necessary tools. • Paint Specifications: The paint will be polyurethane epoxy with high durability, chemical resistance, and a smooth finish, as per the following specifications. • Base Material: Polyurethane epoxy • Color: As per AMNSIs preference • Finish: Gloss (to be decided based on AMNSI’s input) • Thickness: Minimum 3 mm or as specified by the paint manufacturer. • Paint Application: The application of PU epoxy paint will be done using suitable methods (rolling, spraying, or brushing) in two or more coats, as required, ensuring uniform thickness and coverage. • First Coat: The initial coat will be applied after the primer has dried and cured completely. • Intermediate Coat: An intermediate coat may be applied depending on the required thickness and project specifications. • Final Coat: After the first coat has cured, the final topcoat will be applied to achieve the desired finish. • Curing Time: Sufficient time will be allowed between each coat for proper curing, according to the manufacturer’s specifications. Deliverables The following deliverables will be provided at the end of the project: • Material Data Sheets (MDS): All materials used in the project, including primers, PU epoxy paint, and any other chemical compounds, must have their respective MDS documents provided to AMNSI. • Work Completion Report: A final report documenting the completion of the surface preparation and painting work, including before and after pictures. • Inspection Reports: Detailed reports of the inspections conducted at each phase, including surface condition, paint thickness, and final quality. Timeline • Complete flooring needs to be completed 10 days from date of clearance. Safety and Compliance • PPE: The contractor must ensure that all workers wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including masks, gloves, goggles, and safety harnesses, as necessary. • Ventilation: Adequate ventilation will be provided in the panel room to ensure safe working conditions during the application of paints and primers. • Waste Disposal: The contractor will be responsible for the safe disposal of all paint materials, waste, and any hazardous substances in compliance with local environmental regulations. Warranty:- • The contractor will provide a warranty of 1 year for the applied paint, covering any defects in material or workmanship. HSE:- 1. The vendor should adhere to all the safety standards as per AMNS, HSE policy. 2. The vendor should issue PPE like Shoes, Gum Boots, Helmets, dust mask, safety hand gloves, safety googles, face shields etc. and other mandatory safety equipment. 3. Daily Toolbox talk to be imparted for all workmen before start of job in coordination with project executive. 4. All the statutory requirements i.e. insurance/ESIC <(>&<)> PF etc. of the labors is in the scope of the contractor. 5. Any violence in safety will lead to penalize of 5% to 10% of order value for first 2 warnings <(>&<)> 3rd time will be leads to termination and closing of the work order. 6. All the activities that are executed under the contract should come under the HIRA and SOP Bank of M/S AMNS <(>&<)> the team working need to attend training programs to become well-versed with the procedures <(>&<)> then need to be deployed for field activities, after wards based on site safety review, the team must attend safety training programs (minimum requirement is 10 man-days/ Fortnight). 7. Job safety analysis will be carried out and documented by M/S AMNS, and the same is to be strictly adhered while carrying out execution. 8. The Contractor shall also protect all work sites with warning signs, barricades, and night lighting. The Contractor shall inspect all fenced excavations daily and maintain them in good order. 9.
