Note No. of Bore holes 2 Nos. at depth of 5 Mtr. Each In addition to above Following test to be carried out. a. SPT test for bearing capacity and sample collections for lab test b. Grain size analysis and specific gravity c. Atterberg limit d. Triaxial test normal and cyclic e. Free swell index f. Permeability Test g. Standard Proctor Test h. Geo physical test of deposited tailing layers Hold NA i. Soil Dispersity j. Chemical analysis of the tailings materials along with the water. 4 Geotechnical Tests for the two new dam or saddle dam. a. Five bore holes NX size for each dam Note No. of Bore holes 10 Nos. at depth of 15 Mtr. Each.In addition to above Following test to be carried out Engineering or Geo mechanical tests of rock core samples. a. Specific Gravity test b. Porosity c. Density d. Water content in saturation e. Slake Durability Index f. Point Load Strength Index Diametrical g. Point Load Strength Index Axial h. Dynamic Modulus i. Uniaxial Compressive Strength dry and saturated j. Modulus of elasticity saturated k. Uniaxial Compressive Strength dry and saturated l. Poissons Ratio saturated m. Indirect Tensile Strength saturated n. Cohesion saturated o. Phi in degrees saturated p. Modulus of deformation. 5 Water percolation or pressure test WPT is suggested in rock at 3 m stage in cyclic order 6 SPT test over the existing road South side. Following test to be carried out for each sample including boring of 500 Mtr. a. Grain size analysis b. Triaxial tests c. Free swell index d. Atterbergs limit e. Consolidation or Standard Oedometer Test or long term settlement test f. Natural moisture content g. Permeability h. Specific Gravity Test i. Chemical test of soil 7 SPT test over the existing main dam Eastern and Western up to 5m Depth including boring. Note No. of Bore hole 12 Nos. at 5 Mtr. Depth each.
