    Tender For Procurement Of Insecticide-A For Mosquito Control To Be Used In Kbr-Mbr General Hospital. 1) Diflubenzuron 25% WP (Bi-Larv 25 WP or equivalent) is an insect growth regulator that interferes with formation of chitin during the moulting process of the mosquito larvae. a. Should be effective against all the three types of mosquito larvae be dedes. Anopheles and Culex b. Should have target specific-Comparatively safe to Non Target Organisms Use: Diflubenzuron 25% WP control of mosquito larvae present in water 2) Cyfluthrin 5% EW (Solfac 5% EW or equivalent) is ideally suited for the control of cockroaches, houseflies and mosquitoes in houses. a) It should be little or no smell. b) It should have good sticking property of adhering the treated surfaces for a longer period of time. c) Should be certified with BIS ISI Mark Use: Cyfluthrin 5% EW is used in indoor spray for the control of cockroaches, houseflies and mosquitoes. 3) Deltamethrin 1.25% ULV (Kingfog 1.25 ULV or equivalent) is a space spray formulation used for the control of mosquitoes by thermal fogging. a) Effective against vectors of human diseases viz. Anopheles, Culex and Aedes. b) Should be certified with BIS ISI Mark Use: Deltamethrin 1.25% ULV is used as a spray formulation for thermal or hot fogging in outdoor. 4) Imidacloprid 30.5% SC (Premise 30.5% SC or equivalent) is anti-termite treatment chemicals. a) Should have BIS ISI Mark b) Should have no or little or little odour. Use: Imidacloprid 30.5% SC is used for the control termites.
