The scope of work also includes routine, periodic, breakdown and preventive maintenance, staffing and engaging manpower under Operation & Maintenance. The turbidity of supplied water shall be maintained below 1 NTU and should not exceed 5NTU by mixing alum in raw water duly arriving the Alum dosage by jar test. Disinfection with Bleaching Powder / Liquid Chlorine / Gas Chlorination shall be taken up to maintain Residual Chlorine not less than 0.2ppm in pipe lines at last FHTC in the tail end habitations.
