Supply and Installation of Shore profiling device with all its sensors,peripherals and sledge including detailed demonstration of the equipment to the officers concerned at Coastal Engineering Sub-Division Ernakulam to cover the coastal jurisdiction from Alappuzha Pier to Ponnani. Principle of measurement: Hydrostatic pressure-based measurement.Range of measurement : 0 to 10 meters.Accuracy: 0.5% of FS.Display: LCD display showing depth in cms.Electronics: With wave and tide separator circuit.Power: 12 volt or 7.4 volt lithium battery with charger.Provision to record the data in internal detachable SD card. Data has to be downloaded to Windows Excel/CSV file format with date and time in tabular format.Hydrostatic pressure sensor to measure the depth of the water column with specialized electronics to remove the fast fluctuations caused by waves or other water movements caused by boats etc.Data acquisition speed: 2 Hz. (2 samples/second).Data storage: In solid stage Eprom for better reliability and low power consumption.Data retrieval:Through cable directly to computer using software.Data: Time versus depth/profile of the floor with reference to water level.Special facility required: The system should suppress the wave pressure and provide only mean level for the best accuracy of data.Warranty : Minimum 3 years on all its parts. Items to be supplied:1.Near Shore/Riverbed profiling system along with itsinternal rechargeable Lithium battery - 1 unit.2.Combined Data downloading cable facility and itssoftware and Lithium rechargeable Battery charger - 1 unit.3.Metallic/fiber-based sludge with 90 meters of 8 mm.plastic wire, to pull the profiler + sludge from both sides.4.Automatic winding machine with motor of capacity 0.5 HP to wind the rope attached to the sledge to the shore at a uniform speed with speed ranging from 0.1 - 2 m/s.
