Tender For Provision Of Internal Road At Khumbathang Under Ge Khumbathang; 1 Surface excavation not exc 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in any typeof soil by using mechanical means, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. 2 Removal of excavated material by using mechanical meansto a distancenotexceeding 50 mtrand depositing where directed at a level n exc 1.5 mtr. above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. 3 Rolling and consolidation of formation surfaces with power roller exc 8 tone n. exc 12 tone, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. 4 200mmthick (Spread thickness ) soling with broken boulders (size 100 to 50mm) of quarried stonespread and leveled interstice filled, surface formed and rolled with 8 to 12 tone power roller for required gradient or camber, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. 5 150mm thick consolidated thickness WMM with coursestone aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mmsize) of granite trap or basalt spread, watered and rolled with 8 to 12 tone power roller for required gradient and camber, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. 6 Preparing WMM surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove allloose dirt etc. M&L for Applying evenly a tack coat withpaving bituminous primerVG-10 at the rate of 5Kg per 10Sqm of road surface and M&L forbituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 40 mm thick consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder ( use of binder as bitumen of gradeVG-30) content by weight of total mix, by using self propelled mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required smooth surface, camber and gradient , complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. 7 Premix bituminous macadam using binder content 4% by weight of total mix brought from hot mix mechanical plant using paving bitumen (VG-30) laid using mechanical paver and rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less), complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. 8 Applying evenly a tack coat withpaving bituminous primerVG-10 at the rate of 10Kg per 10Sqm of WMM road surface, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. 9 Cast in situ cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in solid blocks(Kerb stone) exc 10 cm in width and setting in cement mortar 1:4, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. 10 Excavation over area in hard/dense soil n exe 1.5 deep and getting out by using mechanical means, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. 11 Metal tubular dealineatormounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. 12 Excavation in post holes (or similar holes) each n exc 0.5 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm, and getting out in any type of soil, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. 13 MS Work as in crash barrier / compound girders and stanchions, lattice girders, aerial masts, staging for water tanks and the like including caps, bases, splices etc. built up from two or more beam or channel sections or angles with plates, including MS beams, W beam, channels, pillars, lattice bars, stiffeners, gusset plates, etc as required and fixed with M-16 bolts as per IRC direction/ manufacturer instruction or as directed by Engr-in-charge, including two coats of synthetic enamal paint (colour & design as required) on exposed surfaces over and including one coat of red oxide primer, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. 14 Cement concrete 1:2:4 (using 20mm aggregate crushed stone aggregate) type B-1 as in Cement concrete in foundations, filling and mass concrete for post holes etc, complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge 15 Preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2 mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes arrows etc and the like n exc 10 cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermoplastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturer instructions, complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge
