Annual Repair and Maintenance of to FCI Depots at Mulamkunnathkavu and Chalakudy for the year 2024 25 SH General maintenance of Depot rennovation of labour canteen GI sheet roofing to DO building etc ; 1 Supplying roofing compound and bitumin washers for closing leakages from the bolt holes of AC sheet/GI sheet roofing and ridges,replacing damaged bitumin washers pasting and covering with roofing compound,tightening J bolts, nuts etc complete.(rate shall be inclusiveof cost of bitumin washers, GI washers, Roofing compound and labour charges and charges for tools and plants etc.) The work is to be carried out at roof of godown at a height upto 12 metres from ground level after observing all safety norms. 2 Supplying and pasting tarfelt sheet one layer of approved brand (STP or equivalant ) over broken AC sheet roofs/GI sheets, ridges,gable wall joints,valley gutters,sides of parapet etc after cleaning the surface to which tarfelt is to be pasted and applying bitumastic roofing compound (Shalibond CS or equivalant.the rate shall includelabour charges,scaffolding complete as directed by engineer in charge.The work is to be carried out at roof of godown at a height upto 12 metres from ground level after observing all safety norms.) 3 Cleaning masonry drains of width 25 cms to 60 cms and depth up to 60 cms, including removal of silt and rubbish, cutting and removing grass and other vegetation from the sides of drains and disposal of rubbish within a distance of 150 mts.etc.complete. 4 Dismantling roofing including ridges, hips, valleys and gutters etc.,and stacking the material within 50 metres lead of :Asbestos sheet 5 Providing reinforced by organic fibres and/or inorganic synthetic fibres cement 6 mm thick corrugated sheets (as per IS: 14871) roofing up to any pitch and fixing with polymer coated J, or L hooks,bolts and nuts 8 mm dia. G.I. plain and bitumen washers or with self drilling fastener and EPDM washers etc. complete (excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses), including cutting sheets to size and shape wherever required. 6 Cleaning Verandah eave gutter and disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground including tightening clamps etc complete. 7 Providing & fixing UV stabilised fiberglass reinforced plastic sheetroofing up to any pitch, including fixing with polymer coated J or Lhooks, bolts & nuts 8mm dia. G.I plain/bitumen washers completebut excluding the cost of purlins, rafters, trusses etc. The sheetsshall be manufactured out of 2400 TEX panel rovigs incorporatingminimum 0.3% ultra-violet stabiliser in resin system underapproximately 2400 psi and hot cured. They shall be of uniformpigmentation and thickness without air pockets and shall conformto IS 10192 and IS 12866.The sheets shall be opaque or translucent,clear or pigmented, textured or smooth as specified. 2 mm thick corrugated (2.5 or 4.2 or 6) or step-down(2 or 3 or 6 ) as specified 8 Reparing/Servicing rolling shutters such as removal of top covers tightening/ loosening the springs adjusting the dislocation of parts if any and applying greese to the springs side guides ( 0.40 kg greese/ shutter) after cleaning and refixing the cover in position etc as directed by engineer in charge. 9 Reparing/Servicing sliding doors such as adjusting top and bottom rails and pullies0.25 kg greese/shutter) after cleaning the surface etc complete as directed by engineer in charge. 10 Dismantling doors, windows and clerestory windows (steel or wood)shutter including chowkhats, architrave, holdfasts etc. complete and stacking within 50 metres lead : Of area 3 sq. metres and below 11 Providing and fixing aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections/ appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS: 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/ neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing / paneling, C.P.brass / stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-charge. (Glazing, paneling and dash fasteners to be paid for separately) For fixed portion Powder coated aluminium (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron 12 Providing and fixing aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections/ appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS: 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/ neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing / paneling, C.P. brass / stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-charge. (Glazing, paneling and dash fasteners to be paid for separately) : For shutters of doors, windows & ventilators including providing and fixing hinges/ pivots and making provision for fixing of fittings wherever required including the cost of EPDM rubber / neoprene gasket required (Fittings shall be paid for separately) Powder coated aluminium (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron) 13 Providing and fixing glazing in aluminium door, window, ventilator shutters and partitions etc. with EPDM rubber / neoprene gasket etc. complete as per the architectural drawings and the directions of engineer-in-charge . (Cost of aluminium snap beading shall be paid in basic item): With float glass panes of 4.0 mm thickness (weight not less than 10kg/sqm) 14 Providing and fixing M.S. grills of required pattern in frames of windows etc. with M.S. flats, square or round bars etc. including priming coatwith approved steel primer all complete.Fixed to openings /wooden frames with rawl plugs screws etc. 15 Deduct cost of salvagable materials received from the work of dismantling work on as is where is condition includingremoving from the site - Wooden windows 16 Deduct cost of salvagable materials received from the work of dismantling work on as is where is condition includingremoving from the site - Wooden doors 17 Providing and fixing 1mm thick M.S. sheet door with frame of 40x40x6 mm angle iron and 3 mm M.S. gusset plates at the junctions and corners,all necessary fittings complete, including applying a priming coat of approved steel primer.Using flats 30x6 mm for diagonal braces and central cross piece 18 Providing and laying vitrified floor tiles in different sizes (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS: 15622, of approved make, in all colours and shades, laid on 20mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3 kg/ sqm including grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc., complete 19 Providing and fixing false celing with 7 mm thick brown acrylic plastic sketch of approved quality on expose face to a grid made of tubular AI runners,cross runners.The formwork shall be rest on both walls and adjusting hangers and celing cleats and fasteners etc including framework.( Analysed item as per local market rate) 20 Steel work in built up tubular (round, square or rectangular hollow tubes etc.) trusses etc., including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer, including welding and bolted with special shaped washers etc. complete. Hot finished welded type tubes 21 Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacturetogive an even shade :(Two or more coats on new work 22 Providing and fixing precoated galvanized iron profile sheets (size, shape and pitch of corrugation as approved by Engineer-in-charge)0.50 mm + 0.05 %, total coated thickness with zinc coating 120 gsm as per IS: 277 in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns. The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling /self tapping screws of size (5.5x 55mm) with EPDM seal, complete up to any pitch in horizontal/ vertical or curved surfaces excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required. 23 Providing and fixing precoated galvanised steel sheet roofing accessories 0.50 mm (+ 0.05 %) total coated thickness, Zinccoating120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester topsteel grade, 5-7microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns using self drilling/ self tapping screws complete.
