Tender For Repair Maintenance To Leakage/ Seepage Treatment, Internal Water Supply System, Plumbing, Periodical Services And Certain Misc B/R Works At Afs Jalahalli ; 1 M&L Water proofing treatment of existing roofs as per details given below after complete removal of existing water proofing treatment and expose of top surface of RCC slab of any thickness, any type by stripping out old tar felt over roofs, parapets, chimney stacks etc laid horizontally or vertically including taking out layer of cement plaster etc and cleaning the surface with water and using wire brush including removing debris to outside the MOD land complete all as specified and as directed :- 2 (a) Dismantling existing cement concrete/ roof tiles on roof including removing debris to outside MOD land as directed. 3 (b) Bring upto the slope by providing PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate of average thickness of 50 mm. 4 (c) Rendering 10mm thick in CM 1:3on concrete roof surfaces and finish the surface even and smooth without using extra cement including mixingwater proofing compound as per manufacturer’s instructions. 5 (d) Surface should be free from any loose paint, dust or grease.Remove all existing bitumen coatings completely by using intense wire brushing, high speed water jet & vacuum cleaner for thorough cleaning of the surface to avoid ‘Peeling off’ problems. 6 (e) All cracks at corner joints, channels and parapets should be properly treated.For filling cracks upto 3mm crack seal material of M/s Asian paints or equivalent inM/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemical to be used. Bigger cracks, damagedportions & hollow areas must be repaired with polymer modified cement mortar. 7 (f) Apply a coat of self priming smart care damp proof ultra (Code 5698) ofM/s Asian paints or equivalent in M/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemical with 33% dilution with water using brush/roller on newly plastered surface after curing as per IS-456 and allow to dry for 4 to 6 hours (dilution & forced coverage requirement strictly as per manufacturer’s instructions). 8 (g) After the primed surface has dried, apply first coat of water proofing smart care damp proof ultra (Code 5698) of M/s Asian paints or equivalent in M/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemicalusing brush/roller on the same primed surface & allow to dry for 4 to 6 hours. 9 (h) Prepare for apply 2nd coat of water proofing smart care damp proof ultra (Code 5698) of M/s Asian paints or equivalent in M/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemicalusing brush/roller on the same surface.The temp to be maintained 25 to 35° C through out the all above application work. 10 (j) In case of severe dampness an additional coat of damp proof materials to be applied. 11 Note for item No 02 to 10 :- (i) The work shall be carried out through authorized and qualified applicators of the following manufacturers only. MOU to be submitted before commencement of work. deemed to include taking down of water pipeline, tanks, wires (etc) found on roof and refix at the original position after complete treatment of roof. 14 (iv)The unit quoted rate shall be inclusive of material, all labours, tools and plants including scaffolding required for working upto approx 7.5 mtr height from natural ground level. 15 (v)The unit rate quoted for item is deemed to include for Removing of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 3 m from All holes and hollows formed in the ground digging out of roots shall be made good carefully by filled up with moorum/red bajri well rammed and levelled. 91 (b)Safaiwala shall report to concerned JE /AGE in service centre B&Rdaily including Sunday and holiday and get the job card for carrying out the work. The Job card shall be returnedto concerned JE/AGE duly signed by the users as a token of completion of job. 92 (c)Cleaning, removal of silts/wastage of organic or inorganic materialsof Sewage line of100mm to 450mm bore up to 1st manhole, in between manholes, GT Chamber, etc to maintain sewage system functional all working days including Sundays and holidays along with necessary T&P i.e flexible rods, cleaning pumps and safety kits etc. 93 (d)The complaints to be rectified within SIX hours on same day. Incase of delay in rectification of complaint more than Six hours, the penalty will be levied @ Rs.100.00 Per complaint/ day. 94 (e)In case the nature of job is such that the work cannot be completed within a period of 6 hrs then the same shall be brought to the notice of the GE/Engr-in-Charge and the period for the completion of the complaint shall be decided by the GE/EIC. 95 Punchuring of SGSW pipe of 150mm dia for clearing blockages and sealing with piece of pipe and concreting around the pipe including necessary excavation complete all as specified and directed. 96 Punchuring of SGSW pipe Cutting and filling shall be cleared off shrubs, vegetation, grass bush, weed, trees and sapling not exceeding 30 cm in girth, measured at a height of two metre above ground level . Cutting the grass/felling of trees shall include digging out roots up to 60 cm below the ground level or 14 cm below the formation level, whichever is lower. All holes and hollows formed in the ground digging out of roots shall be carefully filled up with moorum/red bajri well rammed and levelled. 126 Taking out/pumping contaminated sewage water/ sludge from septic tank/soakage well/ incl inlet/outlet chamber after plugin incoming sewage line suction (vaccum) type machine mounted on LMV/HMV and facility of high pressure vaccume and removing and dumping off the same in tank to a place out side contonment at the place marked for the purpose by local municipality or the authority controling the area as directed.Note :- Contractor is advised to ascertain the place suitable/earmarked for disposal of sludge/sewage water from local municipality or area controling authority before quoting their rates. Disposal of waste at suitable place shall be sole responsibility of contractor and no representation or objection in this regard will be entertained by the deptt at any later stage. 127 Dismantling the existing unservicible gully trap including chamber and material and labour for provision of new salt glazed stoneware gully trap, square or round mouth type P of size 180X150mm, including setting and jointing in cement mortar 1:1 in chamber with plain cement concrete base in PCC 1:2:4 type B1, brick work in cement mortar 1:4, rendering in cement mortar 1:4, all around finished even and fair using extra cement, Precast cover slab in RCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, reinforcement with 8 mm diain both ways etc, including provision of handle etc complete all as specified and as directed. 128 M&L for Repair of leakage/seepage from the Nahani trap/ floor trap of kitchen/ bathroom/ washbasin of the upper Qtr, in any position at any height, complete including change of floor trap, PVC horinzontal pipe embeded in floor in bathroom or kitchen making good to the damage portion of flooring, laying and matching of tiles in the existing flooring, complete all as specified and directed.Note :- An amount of Rs 57635.00 on account of credit schedule for schedule A part II shall be deducted from the total amount of BOQ to arrive at the contract sum.
