Repair To Roofing And Joinery Masonary Works Under Aor Of Age Br I In Ge Gomantak Vasco- 1 Taking down existing roof treatment of any type, cleaning of roof top by brooming down with wire brush scrapping down with steel scrapper and roughening surfaces of old roof and washing down with water to remove dust etc. complete all as directed.NOTE:- Debries shall be removed outside Defence land without any extra cost to the Govt. complete all as directed. 2 M&L 25 mm thick plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate as in padding on roof surface for correction of slope finished fair and even complete all as specified and directed. 3 M&L for rendering/ screeding 10 mm thick on roof slab in cement mortar 1:3 mixed with liquid WPC @ 200 ml per bag of cement finished fair and even complete all as specified and directed.Note:- WPC shall be measured and paid seperately 4 M&L for laying water proofing treatment using 4mm thick APP modified membrane consisting five layers membrances with features as specified weighing not less than 4 kg per sqm reinforced with non woven polyester fiber @ 160gm/Sqm laid over a coat of cold applied bituminous primer @ 0.40 kg/sqm by torching the membrance and sealing the over lap by 100mm length side and 150mm width side all as per manufacturer instructions including joints and changes in direction be curved with cement mortar 1:3 mixed with SBR latex @ 200 ml/bag of cement curved well before laying membrance and applying two finishing coats of solar reflective bituminous aluminium paint @ 0.10 Kg/Sqm (each coat) all as per manufacturer instructions and to the satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge. Note: (i) Irrespective of lap the net covered area will only be measured for payment. (ii) Rate is inclusive of APP membrane, SBR Latex, primer, aluminium paint 5 Providing and applying Sika Shield W-159( Formarly Known as Sika BIT w15), of make Sika or equivalent in FOSROC/ Dr Fixit, 1.5 mm thick double sided, modified bitumen waterproofing membrane with cross laminated PE film for wet application on the RCC structure . The membrane shall be applied after making concrete wall/roof in saturated surface dry condition and applying a bonding slurry Sika Shield W-1( formarly known as Sika BIT w1) or equivalent in FOSROC/ Dr Fixit. The membrane is then unrolled and pressed into the fresh slurry after removal of the release liner. Both long and short edges of the membrane are overlapped by min. 80 mm and firmly pressed together using a roller with staggered overalps. The membrane shall have tensile strength 4 N/mm according to ASTM D412 mod; elongation 200 % according to ASTM D412 mod; resistance to tear 23 N according to ASTM D624; joint peel resistance 700 N/m according to ASTM D1876 at 23 °C; joint shear resistance 220 N according to ASTM E154 ; low temperature flexibility of -15 °C over crack tested for 100 cycles according to ASTM C836 ; resistance to lateral water migration 70 m according to ASTM D5385 mod. application with authorised applicator only all as specified and directed. 6 Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description complete all as specified and directed. 7 Excavating in post holes(or similar holes) each n.exc 0.5 cum in soft/disintegrated rock, getting out, returning, filling in, watering and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25cm and removing surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50m and making good surfaces complete all as specified and directed. 8 M & L for plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling & mass concrete complete all as specified and directed. 9 S&F mild steel work in tubular trusses including special shaped washer etc. complete using ERW or induction butt welded tubes conforming to I.S 1161-1979 grade St.-240 complete all as specified and directed. 10 S&F mild steel framed brackets of angles or tees with web and flanges cut to shape, drilled and countersunk for screw, including bending and welding angles, as necessary, gussets plates, riveting, etc. n exc 10 Kg each brackets, conforming to Fe-290. Gde-E-165 complete all as specified and directed . 11 M&L for preparation of new or previously untreated steel surfaces exceeding 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer all as specified and directed. 12 Dismantling of plain or corrugated steel sheeting, any gauge, thickess including Nainital or similar pattern roofs covering complete all as specified and directed. 13 M&L for pre painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified and directed. 14 M&L for pre painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based plain steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding, ridge, hip and vally gutters, fixed with self tapping screws as specified complete all as specified and directed. 15 Taking down cement or cement lime plaster on walls any description including racking out joints hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc. and removing rubbish complete all as specified and directed. 16 M&L for rendering 10 mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surface in cement mortar 1:6 finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. 17 M&L for rendering on fair faces of brick work or concrete surface or block masonary, 15 mm thick in two layers of 10 + 5 mm in CM 1:4, top layer of 5 mm thick mixed with liquid water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions finished the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. Note:- WPC shall be measured and paid seperately 18 Supply only liquid water proofing compound 19 M&L for preparation of new surface of wall and applying two coats of oil bound distemper over a coat of chalk whiting complete all as specified and directed. 20 M&L for preparation of new plastered or un-plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of weather proof exterior emulsion paint over a coat of alkali resistant primercomplete all as specified and directed. 21 Demolition of cement concrete unreinforced in ground floors and pavings n.exc. 15 cm thickness(below or above ground level) complete all as specified and directed. 22 M&L for 40 mm thick cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in flooring finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. 23 M&L for cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) 75 mm thick as in sub base or in levelling course, finishing the surface even and rough to receive floor complete all as specified and directed. 24 M&L for 75mm thick cement concrete type C2 1:3:6 (using 40 mm stone graded crushed stone aggregate) as in plinth protection surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement including forming construction (dummy) joints 6 mm wide & 10 mm deep and filled with filler at an interval not exceeding 3 metre and at change of direction and necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed. 25 M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 (using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in lintels upto 1.5 m clear span, cills, steps, seismic and other similar bands, copings, over chajja, walls and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating as directed with and including necessary form work and necessary scaffolding/ staging/ Jhula etc. with necessary safety precautions upto 4 story height complete all as specified and directed. 26 Chipping of unsound/weak concrete material 25-35 mm average thickness from slabs, beams, columns etc. with manual Chisel and/ or by standard power driven percussion type including tapering of all edges, making square shoulders of cavities including cleaning the exposed concrete surface and reinforcement with wire brushes etc. complete with necessary scaffolding/ staging and disposal of debris for all lead and lifts complete all as directed. 27 Cleaning of reinforcement from rust from the reinforcing bars to give it a total rust free steel surface by using alkaline chemical rust remover of approved make with paint brush and removing loose particles after 24 hours of its application with wire brush and thoroughly washing with water and allowing it to dry complete all as directed. 28 M&L for mixing and applying polymer modified cement mortar (with Sika monotop-122F or equivalent of Fosroc/ Dr. fixit) over Sikadur-32LP or equivalent of Fosroc/ Dr. fixit as bonding agent or equivalent brand in Fosroc/Dr. Fixit for 25-35 mm average thickness in two or three layers complete as per manufacturer instructions and all as directed at site.NOTE:- (i) Payment under this item shall be made only after proper wet curing has been done and surface has been satisfactorily evaluated by sounding / tapping with a blunt metal instrument.(ii) Work will be carried out by approved applicator of the firm. 29 Cutting down the plants/ trees of girth n.exc. 15 cm from roof tops/ sides of external walls of building, chajja, wall junctions & at junctions of rain water/ waste water pipes including taking out the roots entered into wall/ slab surfaces, making good surfaces with PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 or cement mortar (1:2) including repairing the GI/ CI/ PVC pipe joints which were affected due to cutting/ taking out process after applying suitable herbicide including making good the disturbed surfaces to match the adjoining surfaces complete with necessary scaffolding/ staging/ Jhula etc, with all necessary safety precautions upto 4 storey height complete all as directed and as specified. 30 M&L for Mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with the including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and as directed. 31 M&L for Mild steel TMT bars 6 to 8 mm dia, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with the including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and as directed. 32 Removing building materials by truck or tractor with using of if necessary JCB machine and trolly including loading, unloading and stacking at the destination and depositing out side defence land complete all as specified and directed. 33 Taking down, easing and adjusting and also refixing builders hardware as required including renewal of unserviceable screws, etc. and refixing in same opening, shutters of any description n. exc 1 sqm each complete all as specified and directed. 34 Taking down, easing and adjusting and also refixing builders hardware as required including renewal of unserviceable screws, etc. and refixing in same opening, shutters of any description exc 1 sqm and n exc 2 sqm each complete all as specified and directed. 35 Taking down Chowkats or frames with shutter (without taking off shutters from the frame) exc. 1.50 sqm and n. exc. 4.00 sqm each complete all as specified and directed. 36 Taking down Chowkats or frames with shutter (without taking off shutters from the frame) n. exc. 1.50 sqm each complete all as specified and directed. 37 S&F in position powder coated (any colour and thickness of coating not less than 50 micron) aluminium frame for doors, windows ventilators with one or more rebates including joining cleat for fixing etc. complete all as specified and directed. 38 S&F powder coated (any colour and thickness of coating not less than 50 micron) aluminium door shutters, side hung type without sash bars, aluminium sections weighing not less than 0.55 kg/m including necessary joining cleats, glazing clips, rubber packing, aluminium snap beading, screws, anodized aluminium fittings such as hinges type B-21 -100mm long (3 No.), suitable handle (2 No.) complete all as specified and directed. 39 S&F powder coated (any colour and thickness of coating not less than 50 micron) aluminium window or ventilator fixed type without sash bars, aluminium sections weighing not less than 0.55 kg/m including necessary joining cleats, glazing clips, rubber packing, aluminium snap beading, screws complete all as specified and directed. 40 S&F 4.8 mm thick sheet glass ordinary quality and fixing with oil putty or rubber, wooden/aluminium beads and provsion of glazing pins where required in squares not exceeding 0.50 Sqm in each pane fixed in wooden/ aluminium/ steel windows/ doors/ partition/ ventilators complete all as specified and directed.Note :- Aluminium glazing strip/ metal strip paid sepetately under respective item. 41 S&Faluminium anodised wire mesh of size 1.5 mm x 3 mm mesh, 20 Gauge thick in doors/window shutters complete all as specified and directed. 42 S&F in repair galvanised, 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24 mm dia barbed with 2 mm dia barbs at 75 mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including securing or tyring at crossing with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins etc. as specified and directed (each line wire to be measured). 43 Dismantling of old concertina coil fencing fixed with suitable wire or any other means complete all as specified and directed. 44 S&F silver GI razor blade concertina coil grade SS-316 with punched tape of 600 mm dia, center core wire shall be minimum 2.60 mm dia and thickness of tape 0.50 mm of mild steel conforming to IS-280-2006, galvanized coating of steel concertina coil shall confirm to requirements as laid down for medium coated wire in IS 4826 “Hot dip galvanized coating of round steel wires” concertina coil shall be fixed in diamond shape with the help of dove tail two handles and spikes shall be fixed at both ends of coil, spiral turns per coil 50 to 51 Nos, stretchable length per coil 6 m and approximate weight per coil 8 Kg and clip per spiral 5 Nos. complete all as specified and directed. 45 Resecuring/ restaining including making good of staples of old barbed wire fencing with suitable wire or any other means complete all as specified and directed. 46 Refixing olf concertina coil fencing with suitable wire or any other means complete all as specified and directed.
