Tender For REPAIR MAINTenance OF DOORS, ANNEXES AND OTHER B & R WORKS OF HANGERS IN TECHNICAL AREA AT AFS SULUR- 1 SCHEDULE A BOQ 2 M&L Demolition of brick work or stonemasonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stone work and precast concrete articles all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. 3 M&L for Brick work with fly ash bricks,using modular bricks, built in CM 1:4 straight or curved on plan n exc 6 m mean radius all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. 4 Taking down Chowkats or frames with shuttersexceeding 1.5 Sq.m each but n exc 4 sq.m eachcomplete all as specified and directed. 5 Taking down shutters of any description exc 1.0 Sq.m andn.exc 2.0 Sq.m each complete all as specified and directed. 6 M & L Second class hard wood plain, solid, straight Chowkats and frames, wrought, framed, rebated on the solid, rounded or chamfered, put together with glue pinned at jointscomplete all as specified and directed. 7 Supply and Fixing 30 mm thick factory made flush shutter solid core construction with block board core and plywood face panels, comercial type on both faces complete all as specified and directed. 8 Material and labour for Rendering 15 mm thick in two layers onbrick or concrete surfaces,first coat 10mm thick in cement mortar1:6 and 2nd coat 5mm thick in cement mortar1:4 mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions finished even and smooth without using extra cement completeall as specified and directed. 9 Note for Item No 08 :-WPC shall be measured and paid seperately under supply only item, Whereas, the labour cost for mixing the WPC with cement mortar as per manufacturers instruction shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate 10 M&L Taking down the hanger sliding door shutter,each leaf of size 6.00 M (clear width) and not exceeding 10.00 M height, with mechanical crane without damaging existing structure, straightening of worn-out top & bottom rails, replace the existing rollers, tightened/replaced the loose nut and bolts, necessary /required welding of rails withhangar structure, and positioning of door shutter in same opening, replacement of broken locking arrangement etc. oiling, greasing, replacement of damaged covering sheet and positioning of door shutter in same opening for smooth functioning of hangar door shutter complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. 11 M&L Repair to existing hanger sliding door shutter, each leaf of size 4.50M (clear width) 6.00 M (clear height), straightening of worn-out top & bottom rails,replacing unserviceable rollers,tightening/replacing the loose nut and bolts, necessary /required welding, replacement of broken locking arrangement oiling, greasing etc and positioning of door shutter in same opening for smooth functioning of hanger door shutter complete all as specified and as directed. 12 M&L Taking down the hanger sliding door shutter, each leaf of size 4.5 M (clear width) 6.00 M (clear height) , with mechanical crane without damaging existing structure, straightening of worn-out top & bottom rails, replace the existing rollers, tightened/replaced the loose nut and bolts, necessary /required welding of rails withhanger structure, and positioning of door shutter in same opening, replacement of broken locking arrangement etc. oiling, greasing, replacement of damaged covering sheet and positioning of door shutter in same opening for smooth functioning of hanger door shutter complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. 13 Note for Item No 10 to 12:- (i) Supply of hanger wheel will be measured and paid separately. However, labour element involved deemed to be included in the unit quoted rate. 14 (ii) The work shall be carried out through specialized agencies having experience in repair of hanger door. 15 Supply only Cast iron hanger wheels 230 mm dia and 25 mm to 40 mm thick, weight between 18 kg to 25 kg per each wheel including 25 mm dia x 100 mm Gun metal bushes shaft and other fixing materials for bottom railscomplete for smooth functioning of hanger door shutter all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge 16 Supply onlyMShanger wheels 230 mm dia and 25 mmto 40 mm thick, weight between 10 Kg to 22 Kg per each wheel including 25 mm dia Gun metal bushes for top rails,complete for smooth functioning of hanger door shutter all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge 17 M&L Cleaning/greasing/oiling of hanger wheel track at top of any description,welding of members if required tightening of screws/nuts,bolts of door and wheels etc including rectifying the alignment of top guide channel/rail/ angle etc complete for smooth functioning of hanger doors all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. 18 M&L Cleaning/greasing/oiling of hanger wheel track at bottom of any description,welding of members if required tightening of screws/nuts,bolts of door and wheels etc including rectifying the alignment of bottom guide channel/rail/ angle etc complete for smooth functioning of hanger doors all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. 19 Note for Item No 17 & 18 :- The periodicity of Cleaning and Greasing/Oiling shall be as required by the airforce authorities. 20 S&F Rolled mild sections as in main and cross beams, hip and jack rafters; purlins where connected to common rafters and running rails and guides for sliding doors; fixed with angle cleats or other connecting plates conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 including dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description and in any position including doors, gates etc. all as specified and as directed. 21 M&L Welding in repairs, exc 2,5 cm but n exc 5 cm in length with thickness of metal to be welded n exc 6 mm all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. 22 M&L Preparation of old steel surface of any description not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of aluminium paintcomplete all as specified and as directed. 23 M&L Repair to existing hanger sliding door, each leaf of size 6.00 M (clear width) 8.00 M (clear height), straightening of worn-out top & bottom rails,replace unserviceablethe existing rollers, tightened/ replaced the loose nut and bolts, necessary /required welding of rails with hanger structure and positioning of door shutter in same opening, replacement of broken locking arrangement, oiling, greasing etc, replacement of damaged covering sheet and positioning of door shutter in same opening for smooth functioning of hanger door shutter complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 24 Note for Item No 23 :- (i) Supply of hanger wheel will be measured and paid separately. Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each n exc 0.5 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed. 27 M&L Plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as infoundations, filling and mass concrete, complete all as specified and as directed. 28 M&L Complete removal of existing damaged water proofing treatment and expose of top surface ofRCC slab of any thickness, any type by stripping out old tar felt over roofs, parapets, chimney stacks etc laid horizontally or vertically including taking out layer of cement plaster etc and cleaning the surface with water and using wire brush including removing debris to out side the MoD landand providing following :- 29 (a)Dismantling existing cement concrete/roof tiles on roof including removing debris to out side MD land as directed. 30 (b) Bring upto the slope by providing filling of light weight materials such as cinder, light weight concrete etc as required, and then providing PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate of average thickness of 50mm. 31 (c)Rendering 10mm thick in CM 1:3on concrete roof surfaces and finish the surface even and smooth without using extra cement including mixingwater proofing compound @ 3% by weight of cement. 32 (d)Apply a coat of bituminous primer confirming to IS-3384@ 0.4 ltr/Sqm on newly plastered surface after curing as per IS-456 and dried. 33 (e)After the primed surface has dried, apply a coat of hot blown bitumen(85/25 penetration) confirming to IS-702 @ 1.2 Kg/Sqm of the surface. 34 (f) Providing APP modified water proofing as approved by GE weighing not less than 4kg per sqm unrolled over the bituminous coated surface with 100mm over laps, the overlapshall be sealed by flame as per manufacture instructions complete. 35 (g) Over the APP membrane, apply evenly a tack coat of hot air blown bitumen of grade 85/25 at the rate of 1.20 kg per sqm including cleaning of surface. 36 (h)Applying a coat of aluminium paint at the rate of 100 gm per sqm as per manufacture instruuction over bituminous layer complete all as directed. 37 (j) Care shall be taken to avoid wrinkle and air gaps while sticking membrane to the bitumen applied surface. 38 M&L Taking down cement plaster on brick or concrete or ceilings etc., including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc., including removal of rubbish off the premises, removal and depositing serviceable materials where directed and material and labour for Rendering 15 mm thick in two layers onbrick or concrete surfaces,first coat 10mm thick in cement mortar1:4 and 2nd coat 5mm thick in cement mortar1:4 mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions finished even and smooth without using extra cement completeall as specified and directed. 39 Note for Item No 38 :-WPC shall be measured and paid seperately under supply only item, Whereas, the labour cost for mixing the WPC with cement mortar as per manufacturers instruction shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate 40 Supply only integral water proofing compoundcomplete all as specified and directed. 41 M&L for applying two coat of cement base paint over one coat of primer including preparation of newly plastered wall PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates) as required complete all as specified and as directed. 44 M&L Solid PVC Door Frame of size 50mm x 47mm made out of 5mm plain colour PVC sheet reinforced with MS Square tube complete all as specified and as directed. 45 M&L Factory made Solid PVC Door Shutter 30mm thick (style) consisting of frame made out of MS tubes for top & bottom the position of hinges, adjustment of tower bolts, sliding bolts with new screws etc, Size of door upto 2 Sqmcomplete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 59 M&L Easing of window shutters, kitchen cupboard shutters, show case shutter drawers including fixing of screws adjusting handles, knobs tightening piano hinges including misc small adjustments , size of window upto 1.5 Sqm. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge 60 S&F Pre painted Coloured corrugated Galvalume roofing system sheet 0.50 mm thick having Zinc aluminum alloy coating AZ150 shall be as per IS:277/ASTM 1379 150 gsm/ sqm double ribbed trapezoidal profile steel sheetany colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in Roof covering /cladding to wall fixed with self tapping screws including dismantling of existing roof sheet complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. 61 S&F Pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based Plain steel sheet 0.50mmthick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/ cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws including dismantling of existing roof sheet all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge 62 Note for Pre-painted coloured Galvalume roofing :- 63 (i) The manufacturers test certificate andindividual test certificate for the chemical and mechanical properties of sheet must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority prior to installation. 64 (ii) The contractor shall ensured that no leakages take place from the roof. Tiles shall be hard, dense, impervious and frost resistant. Water absorption of tiles shall be less than 0.5% and flexural strength (Modulus of Rupture) shall be more than 35 N/Sqmm. 78 (ii) The manufacturers test certificateof Tilesmust be submitted for approval by the concerned authority prior to installation. 79 M&L petty repair to aluminum/glass doors, windows, partitions and making good the same (i.e. Handles, hinges, rubber beadings, clips etc) complete all as specified and directed. 80 S&F Aluminium powder coated ofthree track sliding window outer frame top & sides (section no-20831) of size 92.0x31.75x1.5mm weighing 1.06 Kg/m, frame bottom (Section No 20832) of size 92.0x31.75x1.5mm weighing 1.248Kg/m , shutter to plain vertical (Section No 21093) of size 39x18x1.5mm weighing 0.634 Kg/m, shutter interlock vertical frame (section 21094) of size 39x18x1.55 weighing 0.734 Kg/m, shutter bottom horizontal frame (Section No 20551) size 40x20x1.5mm weighing 0.484 Kg/m, with powder coating of min thickness 50 micron , sliding type with out sash bars, 4mm thickness colour glass, rubber packing, snap beading screws with stainless steel wire mesh, including taking down existing window with chowkats of any size, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. 81 M&L Preparation of new wood orwoodensurface of any description not otherwise described over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of pink primer complete all as specified and directed 82 Note for item No 81:-(a) All synthetic enamel paint, shall be of 1st quality manufactured by the standard firms of make as specified. 83 (b) The contractor shall inform the GE, within three weeks of the acceptance of the tender, the brand/names of the manufacturers of paint proposed to be used in the works and submit samples thereof and obtain prior written approval of GE before their use in works. 84 (c) The contractor shall when so required by the GE, produce certificate from the manufacturer or their representative to establish that the brands of paints purchased by the contractor from them, satisfy the requirements of the relevant Indian Standards. Tint of paint, will be approved by the GE. 85 (d)Paints shall be obtained direct from approved manufacturer or from their authorized agents only of respective brands mentioned below and brought to site in sealed containers. The paint so procured shall be of first quality of any approved make as per list of makes specified. i. Berger Paints (Luxol), ii. Jenson & Nicholson (Brolac), iii. Shalimar Paints(Superlac), iv. Goodlass Nerolac (Nerolac), v. Asian Paints(Apcolite) 86 (e )Unless otherwise specified the tints of paint shall be as approved by the GE 87 (f) The contractor shall submit samples of the paints proposed for the work along with results of tests conducted in approved laboratory as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for approval. 88 (g) The surface shall be thoroughly cleaned and dusted. All dirt scales oil and grease shall be thoroughly removed before painting is started. The prepared surface shall be inspected and approved by the GE before painting is commenced. The weather shall not be foggy/rainy, dusty or windy. The suitability of the weather will be determined by the Engineer-in-Charge. 89 (h) No hair marks from the brushor clogging of paint buddles shall be left on the work. Surface shall ordinarily not be painted until it has dried up completely. Material of construction of hardware is stainless steelSS-304. Bearing shall be steel in completely enclosed and dust proof integrated housing and aligned with each other, it shall have capability to rotate at nearly zero wind speed. Turbo ventilator shall have UV stabilized powder coated and capable of static balancing shall have high exhaust capacity and there shall not be any exhaust problem due to air block draft. Fixing arrangement shall have high quality rubberised hardware to prevent leak during rain. All Turbo Ventilator to be installed by manufacturers auth person only. Tint of paint, will be approved by the GE. 122 (d)Paints shall be obtained direct from approved manufacturer or from their authorized agents only of respective brands mentioned below and brought to site in sealed containers. Surface shall ordinarily not be painted until it has dried up completely.
