Handling And Maintenance Of Equipments Of Cryogenic Plants And Handling Of Chemicals In Laboratories Of Materials Science Group.Transfer of liquid nitrogen from 2000 liters storage container and 500 liter storage container to 300 liter distribution container and user containers according to their requirement. 2 Dismantling air cooler/oil cooler assembly of air compressor, cleaning the fins of the above, cleaning of filters, changing of couplings and re-fixing. 3 Dismantling air cooler/oil cooler assembly of air compressor, cleaning the fins of the above, cleaning of filters, changing of couplings and re-fixing. 4 Dismantling air cooler/oil cooler assembly of air compressor, cleaning the fins of the above, cleaning of filters, changing of couplings and re-fixing. 5 Maintenance of PSA bed, changing the springs, cleaning and oiling the system. One PSA bed. 6 Charging of refrigerant gas to chiller units and daily monitoring the chiller temperature. 7 Transporting liquid nitrogen dewars from various labs to Nitrogen plant and transporting Nitrogen filled dewars to respective labs in MSG building. (including CMPL, CMPL Ext. & PIF buildings)Eight dewars/month. 8 Maintenance of Battery operated truck, charging, checking and filling of DM water periodically 9 Transfer of liquid helium from storage container to user containers approximately 13,000 liters. 10 Leak checking of 5 Cylinders banks(total 150 helium Cylinders ) for every two weeks 11 Leak testing of helium recovery pipe lines which includes couplings and weld joints (total 1200 mts) from various labs to helium plant in with MSG.one leak testing per month . 12 Handling and carriage of all types of empty and full cylinders from MSG to stores and from stores to MSG approximately 696 cylinders. 13 Material handling and transporting of helium Dewars from Helium plant to various labs in MSG and back to Plant. The Cryogenic Dewars has to be handled very carefully. The total handling and transfer of Dewar’s with liquid helium for a week will be Approximately in 400 Kgs to 500 kgs/week for 52 week total weight. 14 Manual assistance for Dewar preparation for liquid helium transfer like filling liquid nitrogen in the warm Dewar, expelling liquid nitrogen, evacuation and purging with helium gas approximately 6 Dewar’s/2 months 15 Daily checking and routine maintenance of a 20m³ recovery gas bag. One operation/day. 16 Weekly once taking inventory of liquid helium Dewar’s in various labs in MSG building. Approximately 6 Dewar’s/52 weeks 17 Connecting full helium cylinders to the external manifolds and connecting high pressure lines to the helium gas bag and also leak testing the following high pressure lines for any gas leak. Approximately 58 cylinders/month. 18 Manual assistance in overnight operation of Liquid Helium plant. 19 Evacuation of FRP liquid helium cryostat 20 Pre-cooling of the cryostat with liquid nitrogen and expulsion of liquid nitrogen 21 Liquid helium transfer from storage dewar to the FRP liquid helium cryostat 22 Assisting the Scientific Officer in calibrating the SQUID sensors for the TDEM measurement.Such as laying transmitter loops,connecting batteries,electronic instruments and filling liquid helium to the cryostat. 23 Charging the electrical instruments such as Fast FLL electronics, 24V-150AHr power bank, SMARTem24 receiver, Transmitter, Transmitter controller 24 Shifting the liquid helium cryostat along with the bulky electrical instruments mentioned above to the field by using a battery truck and returning to MSG. 25 Arrange the equipments with necessary connectionsfor TDEM measurements in the open environment 26 Laying and removing transmitter coils (size varies from 20 m x 20 m to 100 m X 100 m) at different grids during the TDEM measurements in the open environment. 27 Assisting the Scientific Officerin operation of TDEM measurement setup during measurement 28 Cleaning of DPC and LLC chambers of sputtering system 29 Cleaning of20 glass and 20 silicon wafers for thin film deposition 30 Helping the Scientific Officer during Photolithographic patterning 31 Powder samples by grinding using Mortar / Pestle 32 Compacting the sample and making pellets 33 Polishing the single crystals 34 Polishing Alloy samples 35 Slicing the samples 36 Maintenance 4 Nos of Chiller units 50 of times Cleaning (each 75 times hence totally 300). 37 Refilling the Chiller units 38 Cleaning and maintaining of fume hood 39 Preparation of Chemical solutions. 40 Careful handling and cleaning of all special types of glass wares for solution preparations. 41 Sample preparation which includes stoichiometry mixture followed by calcinations and heat treatment at elevated temperature. 42 Operation and maintenance of electrically operated high temperature furnaces. 43 Maintenance of laminar flow chamber on every alternate day. 44 Overall rebate (Optional)
