For Construction Of Over Head Tank, Cwr, Pump House, Staff Quarter, Boundary Wall, Gate, Site Development, Supply Laying, Jointing Of Rising Main, Distribution System Etc, 1 OVER HEAD TANK 2 Submission of design, drawing and supply of all material, labour T&P etc. to construction of as per tenderers own seismic proof design and drawings (approved by the department) complete intz type R.C.C. Over Head Tank with following capacity and staging on raft or pile or pile cum raft foundation with columns and braces of staging from made up ground level at site to the top of bottom ring beam of tank, with a minimum free board of 15cm. The design of the tank shall be based on safe bearing capacity of soil at site i.e. 8.0 T/m2 (datum) and depth of foundation as 2.50m (datum) from existing ground level on pile/raft foundation. Made up level of OHT will be taken as 0.60 m above existing gound level. Extra earth for filling of made up level will be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. The height of staging will be considered from the made up ground level to the ring beam (Top Face) of bottom dome. B.C. above given is tentative, contractor will have to test the B.C. and design of O.H.T. will be on actual B.C. found.All other details of tank not covered here shall also be as per specifications enclosed. The specifications for O.H.T. will be as follows :- 3 Submission of detailed design and drawing from any recognized University such as I.I.T. etc. or as per direction of Engineer in-charge.1. Minimum grade of concrete for whole structure-M30 2. Minimum grade of Steel for whole structure-Fe 550 TMT bars 4 R.C.C. O.H.T. as per approved design including fixing various pipes and ventilator at top and fixing of M.S. sheet of 8 mm gauge around manhole cover of 60cm x 60cm size with frame and locking arrangement and railing in three rows with 20mm OD medium quality GI pipe including supply of all material,labour,T&P etc.all complete. 5 Two column based R.C.C. vertical stair case with 1.0 m minimum clear width as an access to Balcony and Top Dome of tank from ground level as per design & drawing with 1.25 m high raillingin three rows with 20mm OD medium quality GI pipeand gate with cabin made up of 60mmx60mmx6mm angle iron and 25mmx25mm square iron jali as per specification including supply of all materials. 6 Supply and fixing of M.S. ladder60mmx60mmx6mm angle iron and 20mm dia bar from top of roof of top dome to inside the tank in a slope of 3:1 (3 vertical : 1 horizontal) with railing as specified and supply & fixing of SS bar cover for pipe opening inside the tank with all labour, T&P etc. complete. 7 Railing on staircase & its landings, all around balcony & top dome for access up to ventilator as specifications including supply of all material. Railing shall be provided in three rows of medium class G.I. pipe of 20mm dia and MS angle iron (60x60x6mm) should be provided in 1.25 m height with 1.2 m centre to centre on both sides of the stair case with embedded in concrete 1:1:2, MS gate should be provided as entrance of stair case with locking arrangement. 8 Supply and fixing of lightening conductor and earth plate etc. as per specifications. 9 Testing of tank for water tightness as per specifications enclosed including supply of water. If water for testing is made available by department, the cost of Rs. 100.00 per KL will be deducted from the contractors bill. 10 Supply of all materials and construction of 80mm thick R.C.C. floor 1:1 1/2:3, R.C.C. apron and 20 cm dia semi circular drain around apron in a slope towards wash out chamber on 75 mm thick base concrete in 1:2:4 (cement:coarse sand: 40 mm stone ballast) 11 Three coats of approved quality and shade ofApex Painting as per direction of Engineer incharge over exposed surface of tank work including supply of all material, labour, T&P complete as required. 12 Three coats of anti corrosive / aluminum / black Japan paint of approved quality on all ironwork including supply of all material, labour and T&P etc. 13 Suplly of all materials, labour, T&P and construction of brick masonry sluice valve chambers including fixing R.C.C. cover as per deptt. Type design for the all inlet, outlet and washout pipes. The R.C.C. cover shall be casted in M.S. Channel section with handles on both sides. (Sluice valve chamber for over flow & wash out may be combined) 14 The words U.P.
