Tender For Spl Repair To Certain Roads At Various Locations Under Ge 874 Ews (Job No: (I) W/Sr (Rds)-I/Zangli/2024-25 & (Ii) W/Sr (Rds)-Ii/Zangli/2024-25); 1 Scarifying or picking up gravelled macadam surfaces in area n.exc 400 sqm exc 50 mm but n.exc 100 mm deep including removing materials from site of work or stacking for re-use at site complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. 2 Materialandlabour for preparation of old black top road surface & WMM-WBM Surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces withair compressor to remove all loose dirt etc, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. 3 Materialandlabour for repair to pot holes of any depth not exceeding 1.00 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water scoring sunken surfaces in roads/path etc cutting around edges to at least 30mmand more as per site requirement in depth and making good by applying tack coat with bitumen of grade VG-10 @ of 5 Kg/10 Sqm Carpet (2cm thick), putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 6.8 Kg per 10 Sqm, binded with 0.06 cum of stone chipping 6.3mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam binder andchipping) depth of pot holes exceeding 30mm rolled with power roller 10 to 12 Tonne capacity ,complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in-Charge.. 4 M&L applying evenly a priming /tack coat with bituminous (VG-30)primer at 5 Kg per 10 Sqm, paving bitumen for bituminous surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge 5 MaterialandLabour for premixedbituminous macadam (consolidated thickness 75mm or less )laid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber and gradiant using mechanical paver and rolled with 8 to 12 Tonne capacity power road rollerto uniform smooth surface using binder content of 4% by weight of total mix using paving bitumen of grade (VG-30) complete all as specified and as directed Note-(i) Bituminous macadam shall prepared in central computerised hot mix plant. complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) Design mix shall be got done by the contractor at his own expenses from laboratory as decided by GE complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. 6 Materialandlabour for laying bituminous premix semi dense asphalticconcrete 30mm (consolidated thickness) using with 5.5% of binder (grade VG-30) content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using mechanical paver and rolled with 8 to 12 tonne capacity power road roller rolled to uniform smooth surface ,complete all as specified and as directed.Note-(i) Bituminous premix semi dense asphalticconcrete shall prepared in central computerised hot mix plant. complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) Design mix shall be got done by the contractor at his own expenses from laboratory as decided by GE complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. 7 Earth work in over areas (exceeding 30 cm upto 1.5m in depth, exceeding 1.5m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5m, complete all as specified and as directed. 8 Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed. 9 Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floor and paving not exceeding 15cm thickness below or above ground level of any description and in any positionincluding removing rubbish material from area and thrown in low lying empty area at any distance exceeding 1.5 KM but not exceeding 5 KM from the site etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 10 Material and labour for 100 mm thick PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in plinth protection finished even and smooth without using extra cement laid in anels including making joints 12mm wide to the full depth of PCC at the rate of 3.00 mtr centre to centre and at every turning point, filling the Joints with and including bitumen and sand (1:3) by weight complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 11 M&L for cement concrete work in pavement/ hard-standing of flexural strength 40 kg/per square centimetre in field using 400 kg of cement per cubic metre, thickness of concrete 25 cm or lessincluding use and waste of side form for pavement concrete/ hardstanding in bays between joints & contraction expansion joints/ or between the two contraction joints etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. 12 M&L for finishing surface of concrete roads, pavements, by brooming etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. 13 Material and labour for sand cushioning, with dry and clean fine river sand (for under paver block) 8 cm before laying cable and 15 cm after laying and punned to 18 cm after laying of cablecomplete all as specified and as directed.(Note:- Punned thickness shall be considered for payment purpose) 14 M&L Forming Contraction (Dummy) joints Grade B 65mm deep x 10mm wide,filled with sealing compound,etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. 15 M&L for preparation of new/ old road surfaces including cleaning of all dirt, sales, iol grease and foreign material etc and applying 2.00 mm thick retro-reflactive thermo plastic road marking paint of approved brand (white/ yellow) including admixture layer of glass beads for painting lines dashes, arrows, letters, etc ece 10cm widthor grith, applied hot on road surface mechanicaly, surface confirming to BS-6088 and according to the specification laid down by IRC and MOST (Ministry of surface transport) specification 803 VOL-III by using automatic mechanical road marking machine complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. 16 Supply and fixing cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA stiplens reflector of model No 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions. 17 Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for foundations, shafts, wells, cess pits, manholes, for taking out old pipe and laying new pipe line, for laying cable etc. not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and getting out in soft/loose soil including trimming the sides and forming bottom surfaces to required levels complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 18 Removing excavated material (surplus soil) to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 19 Material and labour for PCC (1:3:6), type C-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation filling and mass concrete, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 20 Material and labour for PCC (1:2:4), type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in coping, pedestal coping, mud stops, bed block& similar work etc including weatherings, slightly rounded or chamfered angles complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 21 Material and labour for Cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in surface channels and drains and surface finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 22 Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30cm inner girth in cement concrete using extra cement including forms moulds, mitred/ stopped ends etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. 23 Dismantling of brick work or stone / boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, in any description including cleaning and stacking serviceable brick for re use and balance removing rubbish from the site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 24 Material and labour for brick work with sub class ‘B’ old size burnt clay bricks, straight or curved on plan exc. 6 metre mean radius built in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 25 Material and labour for rendering plaster 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) on any surface ofBrick work or concrete surfaces, finishing the surfaceeven and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 26 Material and labour for hard core of broken stone or boulders of gauge not exceeding 63mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge. 27 Material and labour for 75mm thickcement concrete ( 1:3:6),type C-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in sub base complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 28 Supply and laying/fixing 60 mm thick (M35 grade) precast interlocking tile/paving block factory made chamfered edge (made by using PU moulds on Vibrating Table Machine) using cement concrete and pigment, prepolished & preglazed, with approved colour, design & pattern as in foot parth, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., laid in required colour & pattern, over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of fine sand cushining, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand and complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 29 Providing cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in lintels upto 1.5 m clear span, cills, steps and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railing upto 60cm height, copings, kneelers, apes stone, bed plates and the like including weathering slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
