Bids Are Invited For Custom Bid For Services - Work Package For Technical Activities - IRDE is looking for detailed 3D modelling, preliminary simulation, design modification and optimization, generation of 2D drawings & detailed documentation for the 02 activities which is being developed for airborne application at IRDE. These activities are: Activity 1: Design and Development of Electro-optical Payload - 03 Nos Activity 2: Design and Development of Gimballed Electro-optical Payload - 02 Nos Both activities are an electro-optical system comprising of optical, mechanical and electronic components/sub-systems. The following inputs will be provided by IRDE to the service provider to execute the tasks: 1. Conceptual 3D models for both Electro-optical payloads in Solid Works format. 2. Detailed description of all load cases and performance specifications which the subsystems are required to comply. 3. All material properties as required by service provider from time to time for successful execution of the tasks. 4. Details of all standard/purchase parts and detailed bill of material for both activities. 5. The software tools required for execution of design activities. 6. Detailed simulation data i.e., dynamic and thermal analysis data. 7. The service provider may provide some suggestions to improve design performance, however, IRDE will be solely responsible for all design changes. The following are the responsibilities of the service provider: 1. Prepare detailed 3D models, complete with all components/assemblies from the concept model and add all design/purchased/standard parts for design evaluation. 2. Prepare all drawings and BOM for various design changes that will be done during the development of both configurations. 3. Carry out various preliminary FE analysis to verify the design and prepared reports for review of IRDE. 4. Update the 3D model and 2D drawings/BoM as per the final design validated and approved and release the same for fabrication/manufacturing. 5. Prepare detailed design report capturing the various design simulations and iterations done and submit the same along with the final validated design data 6. Prepare technical documentation for the final approved design 7. The above process to be repeated for both the activities. For the above design and development activities, there is a requirement to perform 3D modelling, preliminary FE analysis, detail design and optimization, generation of 2D drawings & detailed documentation of mentioned tasks. These activities need to be outsourced through work-package. The scope of work for each activity is as follows: Scope of work as per below milestones: Review of conceptual design, configuration of various design approaches Solid modelling of the components of various sub- assemblies/assemblies Assembly modelling: This is to be performed to each sub- sub assembly/sub assembly/assembly level Preliminary Mechanical Design of components and assemblies Motion Simulation on sub-sub-assemblies/sub- assemblies/assemblies Static Analysis: This analysis is to be performed to estimate the stress and deflection of the components of sub- assemblies/assemblies: Modal Analysis: This analysis is to be performed to evaluate the Eigen value and eigenvectors of the sub- assemblies/assemblies. Design Modification: Modification in the design of components as feedback by simulations Detailed Design assemblies/assemblies. of all components. sub- Design Optimization needs to be performed considering all design aspects at part level. Tolerance Analysis: This analysis is to be performed to find out overall variation and effect of variation on components/assembly from imperfection in manufactured parts. Drawing generation ie, Part, Sub-Sub Assembly, Sub- assembly and Assembly drawing generation Design of testing fixtures for Testing, Alignment and Evaluation Drawing generation for testing fixtures Design modification after feedback from testing and evaluation results Drawings Update and Technical Report Generation Total Quantity :
