Tender For Widening Of Roads At Af Station Bihta; 1 Surface excavationnot exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and asdirected. 2 Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 M wide and not exceeding 1.5 deep andgetting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified andas directed. 3 Rolling and consolidatingformation surfaces in cutting with power rollar exc 8 tonne and not exc 12 tonne complete all as specified and as directed. 4 M&L for laying and compacting 150 mm thick (compacted thickness) Granular Sub Base Course(GSB) grading as per Grade-II as per table 900-1 ofMORTH specificationfor road and bridge works 2013, in a single layer over compacted sub gradewith natural sand, crushed gravel, crushed stone , crushed slag or combination thereofas per the gradingrequired .The materials are mechanically mixed, spread and levelling on the subgrade by using motor grader of adequate capacity and rolling with vibratory rollar of capacity 80-100KNstatic weight for achievingrequired compacted density of atleast 98% of the Maximum Dry Density. consolidating torequired gradient and camber with finished surfaces, tolerances as per MORTH specification Table 900-1 for Road and Bridge work 2013 complete all specifiered and as directed. 5 M&L for laying and compacting 150 mm thick (compacted thickness) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) laid in two layers if 75 mm each, grading as per 400-13 of MORTH specification for Road and Bridge works 2013, manufactured in WMM plant, material comprising of clean,crushed,graded aggregateand granular material premixed with water to a dense mass. spreadingwith sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weightandconsolidating torequired gradient and camber with finished surfaces, tolerances as per MORTH specification Table 900-1 for Road and Bridge work 2013 complete all specifiered and as directed. 6 M&LforMoorum/Red bajri filling in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick, spread, rolled , compected and consolidated to gradient and cambe as in berms of road complete all as specified and as directed. 7 M&L for preparing Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer with paving bitumen VG -10 @ 10 Kg per ten square metrecomplete all as specified and as directed. 8 M&L 50 mm consolidated thickness premix bituminous macadamusing binder paving bitumen grade VG-30 at the rate of 4% of total mix weight by using Hot mix plant for mixing andmechanical paver for laid/rolled and compactedwith 8 to 10 tonne power roller to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed.Note:-(i) Work shall be executed as perapproved design mix from NABLGovt approved lab /Govt Engg College as decided by GE.(ii) Any variation in binder content during design mix at site on plus side shall be borne by the contractor without any extra cost to the Government. 9 Preparing of existingold black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etcand applyingevenly a tack coatwith bituminous primer using paving bitumen of grade VG-10@ 5 Kg per ten square metrecomplete all as specified and as directed 10 M&L Providing bituminous premixsemi denseasphaltic concrete 30 mmconsolidated thickness with minimum5.5 % binder contentby weight of total mix, using paving bitumen VG-30using hot mix plant and laidby using mechanical paver, rolled and compacted with 8 to 10 tonne power roller to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed.Note :- (i)Work shall be executed as perapproved design mix from NABLGovt approved lab /Govt Engg College as decided by GE.(ii) Any variation in binder content during design mix at site on plus side shall be borne by the contractor without any extra cost to the Government. 11 M & L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirmingto BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and as directed.Note:- (i)Road marking work shall be carried out in accordance with manufactures instructions and as specified.(ii)ReferMORTH specification ofPara803.4.2.1 and 800.4.2.2 on bituminous surface in white colour or yellow colour and super imposed with glass beads confirming to BS 6088 and MORTH specificationPara 803.4.3.3 . 12 S&F road studs of ABS material of size 100mmx100mmx20 mm with two side acrylic plastic reflectors complete all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and as directed.Make:-Gogiya Plastic Cat part No GP-733 A/3M/Dark eye as approved 13 M&L for continuous brick edging with width equal to the width of bricks, laid dry on end vertically with burnt claybricksof sub class B complete all as specified and as directed. 14 Removing excavated material (Soils)not exceeding 50 M and depositig where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 M above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.
