Tender For Special Repair/ Replacement Of Furniture Against Condemnation At Military Station Dhrangadhra- 1 SCH A PART-I (WOODEN FURNITURE) 2 BENCH WORKSHOP 1500 X 900 X 760MM (FD-1024).All as shown on drawing. Overall size shall be 1500mm long, 900mm wide and 780mm high. Four legs shall be of 32mm square mild steel tube of wall thickness 1.6mm. Size of steel frame shall be 1400mm x 800mm x 720mm. Legs shall be of 720mm high. Toe of legs shall be joined together in long sides and short sides with 32mm square mild steel tube of wall thickness 1.6mm as top rails in long and short sides. Two stiffeners joining legs short sides at 100mm from bottom. If legs shall be provided with 32mm square mild steel tube of wall thickness 1.6mm. One long stiffeners joining short stiffeners in middle at 100mm from bottom shall be provided with 32mm square mild steel tube of wall thickness 1.6mm. A drawer shall be provided at right hand side of table with locking arrangement. Drawer and the bearer for drawer shall be made of 1mm mild steel sheet. PVC/ Hard rubber toes shall be provided to bottom of all legs. Top of table shall be provided with 40mm thick hard wood (SAL) planks of width not less than 150mm joined together to make flush joint. All steel surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be given two coats of enamel paint over one coat of primer with spray machine after preparation of surfaces. All wood surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be given two coats of all paint over one coat of primer with spray machine after preparation of wood surfaces. 3 FOAM WITHOUT BACK (FD-77 (M)).All as shown on drawing 25mm square tube legs of wall thickness 1.6mm, made to shape as shown on drawing shall be provided at 100mm from each end. Overall size shall be 1525mm long, 255mm wide at top. 300mm at bottom and 450mm high Legs shall be stiffened with 25mm square tube stiffeners of 1.6mm wall thickness tube to shape as shown on drawing shall be bolted to wooden plank and welded to legs at bottom 25mm thick teak wood plank iron peace shall be provided at top as seat fixed with 3 Nos. GI bolts 3mm dia fixed with nuts and patent washers. Four hard PVC shoes shall be provided at bottomof legs. All steel and iron surfaces shall be painted with two coats of enamel paint over one coat of primer after preparation of surfaces as directed by GE. Painting shall be done with spray machine. Tint of paint shall be as directed by GE. All wood surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be French polished with gloss finish after preparation of wooden surfaces. 4 PEG TABLE (FD-384).(a)Timber shall be first class teak wood seasoned.(b)18mm/ 19mm prelaminated particle board exterior grade as pe IS-12823 of approved make shall be used for Top. Beading shall be 4mm teak wood fixed with needless nail.(c)All exposed wooden surfaces shall be french polish glossy finish.(d)2 Nos stiffener to short side of the table peg size 40mm x 20mm.(e)Rest all as shown on drawing. 5 CHAIR WRITING WITH CUSHION (FD/E6/MAP/12).DIMENSION.The overall size of the chair shall not be less than 475mm wide and deep and 580mm high at seat from ground level.DESCRIPTION. (a)A wood to be used shall be 1st class hard teak wood.(b) The seat of chairs shall be made of 40 density foam cushion having thickness 75mm. The cushion shall be placed and pasted on 12mm BWR plywood as per size of seat duly covered with approved tapestry cloth of rate not less than 450 per mm. The seat shall be fixed over the rails and screwed from wood stopper with 30mm and screws.(c)PVC hard rubber ring of dia 25mm shall be provided to bottom of each leg with 20mm long screws.REST. All specifications and dimensions are as per drawing.FINISH.The chair shall be polished in high gloss melamine polish walnuts shade after preparation of surfaces. 6 SCH A PART-II (STEEL FURNITURE) 7 BOOK SHELF OPEN (SMALL) STEEL (FD-69 (M))All as shown on drawing. Overall size shall be 915mm long, 305mm wide and 990mm high. Sides and back shall be covered with 1mm thick mild steel sheet/ sloted angle 25mm x 25mm x 3mm shall be provided fixed at front back as shown on drawing 3mm thick corners of 75mm x 75mm shall be fixed at front and back to the top bottom shelves. Four shelves including top and bottom shelves shall be provided equally to make three compartments. All welding shall be done as per trade practicle and as directed by GE. All steel and iron surfaces shall be painted with two coats fo enamel paint with spray machine over one coat of primer after preparation of steel surfaces as directed by GE rest all specification and dimension are as per Drawing. 8 WORK BENCH WORKSHOP 1800 X 760 X 900MM (FD-1024).DIMENSION:-Overall size shall be of 1800 x 900 x 760mm.DESCRIPTION:-Four legs shall be of 32mm square mild steel tube of wall thickness 1.6mm size of the steel frame shall be 1700mm x 800mm x 720mm. Legs shall be 720mm high. Top of legs shall be joined together in long and short sides with 32mm mild steel tube. Two short stiffener of 32mm mild sq steel tube shall be provided at 100mm from bottom of legs in short sides. A drawers shall be provided at right hand side of the table with locking arrangement the drawer and bearer for drawer shall be made of 1mm thick MS sheet. Hard rubber shoe shall be provided for legs. The top of the table shall be of 40mm thick IInd class hard wood shisham/ sal wood and shall be given with three coats of Ist class oil paint over one coat of primer.FINISH:- Top shall be painted in colour with two coats of oil paint and steel portion shall be painted over one coat of primer on steel frame. All joints/ welding, fixing shall be done in accordance with standard specifications. Rest all as per drawing. 9 CHAIR EASY STEEL (FD-121 (M)).All as shown on drawing. Overall size shall be 560mm long, 700mm wide and 710mm high. Frame of chair and legsshall be 19mm square steel tube of wall thickness 1.6mm. 32 density foam 50mm thick cushion shall be fixed over 12mm thick teak wood plank and upholstered with leatherite provided for seat of size 560mm x 635mm. Foam cushion of 32 density, 25mm thick, shall be fixed over 12mm thick teak wood plank and upholstered with leatherite for back of chair of size 560mm x 355mm. Teak wood (MP) arm trest. 19mm x 65mm in section shall be provided all as shown on drawing. All steel and iron surfaces shall be given two coats of enamel paint over one coat of primer after preparation of surfaces as directed by Engr-in-Charge. All wood surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be French polished with high gloss finish. Welding to joints of steel shall be grinded to smooth finish. 10 LOCKER STEEL (FD-1029).DIMENSION.All dimensions shape and size shall be as shown in drawing and as specified. Overall size shall be 760mm (L) x 600mm (W) x 1100mm (H).STEEL SHEET. 1mm thick black/ MS Sheet for top, base, bottom, side, back, legs adn shelves.HANDLES.Chromium plated steelhandle 100mm long shall be providedto the steel shutter.LOCKING. Safety type hasp and stapple chromium plated 75 x 40 x 3mm shall be provided.HANGING ARRANGEMENT. 20mm dia chromium plated conduit pipe 1.6mm thick with socket shall be provided for hanging.PAINT. All steel surfaces shall be painted internally and externally with two coats of synthetic enamel olive green/ Grey paint with spray gun over one coat of primer. The surface shall be thoroughly cleaned and prepared prior to applicatin of paints.REST.All other items, fittings and fixtures shall be shown on drawings. All as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
