Tender For Mezzanine Floor And Miscellaneous Civil Works At Hwp(T); 1 Earth work excavation in all typesof soils other than soft and hard rock upto a depth not exceeding 0.500 mts from original average ground level for foundations, under floors,back filling in plinth and around foundations withexcavated soil in layers not exceeding 150 mm, watering, consolidatingincluding disposing off surplus earth within a distance of 500 mts etc.,all complete as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer. 2 Supplying and filling with red gravel of approved quality in plinth, under floor to required levels including breaking clods, watering, ramming, consolidating and dressing etc., all complete as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer. 3 Supplying and filling with river sand / grey M-sand of approved quality in plinth, under floor torequired levels including watering, ramming , consolidating and dressing etc., all complete as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer. 4 Providing and laying plain cement concrete 1:4:8(1 cement : 4 coarse sand : 8 graded stone aggregate) using 40 mm nominal size stone aggregate of approved quality forfoundations, under floor including consolidation, levelling, finishing and curing etc., all complete as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer. 5 Providing and laying plain cement concrete 1:1.5:3 (1 cement: 1.5 coarse sand : 3 graded stone aggregate) using 20 mm nominal size stone aggregate of approved quality for grouting structural members in wall / floor wherever requiredincluding consolidating, finishing, curing, scaffoldingetc.,all complete at all levels as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer. 6 Providing and laying cast - in - situ machine mixed cement concrete 1:1.5:3 (1 cement: 1.5 coarse sand : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size ) reinforced cement concreteworks for pedestals, raft, grade slab, shelves etc.., including shuttering and centering, required alignment, consolidating, finishing, curing, scaffolding etc.,all complete at all levels as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer, but excluding cost of reinforcement steel. 7 Providing, laying and fixing in positionFe 500-D grade TMT reinforcement steel of M/s SAIL/TATA/VIZAG/JINDAL brand conforming to IS 1786 for all reinforced cement concrete works including cutting, bending, supplying and binding with 16 gauge MS annealedwire, supplying and laying spacer blocks, scaffolding etc., all complete at all levelsas per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer. 8 Providing, fabricating, transporting, erecting and fixing steel structure in position made of angles, channels, flats, pipes, plates, joists/beams, cleats etc., of M/s.SAIL/VIZAG/TATA/JINDAL brand for mezzanine floors, platforms, ladders, columns, beams, bracings, stairs, gratings, hand rails, EPs, shelves, bed bolts including making flange connections, splice connections, base plate connections etc., as directed, nuts, bolts, washers, cutting and welding at site, painting the structure with two or more coats of chlorinated rubber paint of approved manufacture and shade over a coat of zinc chromate red oxide primer, scaffolding etc., all completeat all levelsas perdrawings,specifications and asdirected by theEngineer. 9 Providing and laying brick Masonry with cement mortar 1:6 (1 Cement: 6coarsesand) using common burnt clay bricks of class designation 7.5 including racking of joints, hacking cc floor, key in existing brick wall, scaffolding, curing etc., all complete at all levels as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer. 10 Providing and laying 115 mm thick brick masonry in cement mortar 1:4 ( 1 cement : 4coarse sand) using common burnt clay bricks of class designation 7.5including racking of joints, hacking cc floor, key in existing brick wall, scaffolding, curing etc., all complete at all levels as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer. 11 Providing and plastering with cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand) of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches including cutting patches in proper shape, racking out joints, preparing and plastering the surface of walls, scaffolding, curing, disposal of rubbish near plant main gate by mechanical means etc.,all completeat all levelsas per drawings, specifications and asdirected by Engineer. 12 Providing and laying 15 mm thick plaster in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) on concrete/brick masonry surfaces including hacking of concrete surfaces, curing, scaffolding, providing grooves etc.,all completeat all levelsas perdrawings, specifications and asdirected by theEngineer. 13 Providing and laying cement concrete flooring 1:2:4 (one part of cement: two parts of fine aggregate: four parts of coarse aggregate 12.5mm and down grade) of average 40 mm thicknessinpanels of less than 2.00 sqmplan area by providing glass strips 4 mm thick x 40 mm deep (average)including alignment, level, consolidation, neat cement finishing, curing etc., all complete at all levelsas per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer. 14 Providing and laying 2 mm thick homogeneousVinyl flooring / skirting of approved brand and shade on cement concrete floor / MS sheet floor using suitable adhesive including removing damaged/worn out vinyl floor, surface preparation,trimming / cutting,pressing uniformly for perfect fixing and cleaning etc.., all complete at all heights as per drawings,specfications and as directed by the Engineer. 15 Providing and fixing 10 mm thick acid and/or alkali resistant tiles of approved make and colour over floor etc..,all complete at all levels as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer.15.1) In flooring using suitable acid and /or alkali resisting adhesivebedding and joints filled with suitable acid and/or alkali resisting adhesive. . 16 Providing FRP patches to plug holes/cracks on existing asbestos corrugated roofing sheet in roof of any pitch including surface preparation, one coat of resin, three layer 450 CS mat, final coat surface mat , ensuring leak proof, adopting all applicable safety measures/PPEs, scaffoldingetc., all completeat all levelsas per drawings,specifications and asdirected by theEngineer. 17 Providing and fixingnon-asbestos high impact polypropylene reinforced cement 6 mm thick corrugated sheets (as per IS: 14871) as replacement for existing damaged sheetsin roofing / cladding and fixing with polymer coated J, or L hooks, bolts and nuts 8 mm dia. G.I. plain and bitumen washers or with self drilling fastener and EPDM washers etc. complete (excluding the cost of structural steel works), including cutting sheets to size and shape wherever required, removal of old damaged sheets in roofing / cladding and stacking at store, adopting all applicable safety measures/PPEs etc.,all completeat all levelsas per drawings,specifications and asdirected by theEngineer. 18 Providing and fixing corrugated adjustable ridges with suitable fixing accessories or self drilling fastener and EPDM washer as replacement for existing damaged ridges including cutting ridges to required length wherever required, removal of old damaged ridges in roof and stacking at store, adopting all applicable safety measures/PPEs etc.,all completeat all levelsas per drawings,specifications and asdirected by theEngineer. 19 Providing and applying two or more coats of first quality exterior acrylic emulsion of approved manufacture, colour and shade on old / newly plastered surfaces of walls over a coat of exterior primer of approved manufacture to give an even shade including preparing the surface smooth, scaffolding, cleaning etc., all completeat all levelsas perdrawings, specifications and asdirectedby theEngineer. 20 Providing and applying two or more coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved quality and shade over a coat of approved zinc chromate red oxide primer on MS sheet claddingetc., all complete as per drawings, specifications and as directed byEngineer. 21 Drilling suitable holes in reinforced cement concrete / plain cement concrete beam / floor with power driven drill machine to a depth up to 250 mm to introduce and grout rebars in position using Lokfix S anchor grout of Fosroc make excluding cost of rebar etc.., all complete as per drawings, specifications and as directed by Engineer. 22 Drilling suitable holes in reinforced cement concrete / plain cement concrete beam / floor with power driven drill machine to a depth up to 300 mm to introduce and grout bed bolts in position using Lokfix S anchor grout of Fosroc make excluding cost of bed bolts etc.., all complete as per drawings, specifications and as directed by Engineer. 23 Demolishing / chipping brick workin cement mortar manually/by mechanical means to make pockets of required size and disposal of unserviceable material within 500 meters lead includingscaffoldingetc., all complete at all levels as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer. 24 Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side of building / structure, up to 12 metres above ground / floor level, including additional rows of scaffolding in stepped manner as per requirement of site, made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube, placed 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joint with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for execution of indented works for required duration as approved and removing it thereafter.The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connecting with the building etc.., wherever required, if feasible,for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer. Note: (1) The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. (2) The payment will be made once only for execution of all items of subject work irrespective of duration of scaffolding.
