matching pigments etc. The tiles must be cut with the zero chipping diamond cutter only .Laying of tiles will be done with the notch trowel, plier, wedge, clips of required thickness, leveling system and rubber mallet for placing the tiles gently and easily. 50 Double charge vitrified tile polished finish of size 51 Size of Tile 600 x 600 mm 52 Providing and laying Vitrified tiles in different sizes (thickness to be specified by manufacturer), with water absorption less than 0.08 % and conforming to I.S. 15622, of approved make, in all colours & shade, in skirting, riser of steps, over 12 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3 kg/ sqm including grouting the joint with white cement & matching pigments etc. complete. 53 Size of Tile 600x600 mm 54 FINISHING 55 12 mm cement plaster of mix : 56 1:6 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand) 57 15 mm cement plaster on rough side of single or half brick wall of mix: 58 1:6 (1 cement: 6 coarse 1st quality acrylic distember (Ready mix) having VOC content less than 50 grams/ litreof approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade : 71 Old work (one or more coats) 72 Removing dry or oil bound distemper, water proofing cement paint and the like by scrapping, sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete. 73 Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade : 74 One or more coats on old work 75 REPAIRS TO BUILDING 76 Repairs to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sq.meters and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete, including disposal of aggregate 20 mm nominal size), painting two coats of approved wood preservative to sides of chowkhats and making good the damages to walls and floors as required complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. 79 Window chowkhats 80 Hacking of CC flooring including cleaning for surface etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. 81 Taking out existing wooden door shutter, repair by cutting, painting etc. and refixing of repaired door shutters to existing door frames, including replacement of hinges with screws, etc. as required, all complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge. 82 Dismantling and Demolishing 83 Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge. 84 Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix) 85 Demolishing R.C.C. work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in- charge. 86 Extra for cutting reinforcement bars manually/ by mechanical means in R.C.C. or R.B. work (Payment shall be made on the cross sectional area of R.C.C. or R.B. work) as per direction of Engineer- in-charge. 87 Demolishing brick work manually/ by mechanical means (non modular) bricks 119 Making chases up to 7.5x7.5 cm in walls including making good and finishing with matching surface after housing G.I. pipe etc. 120 ALUMINIUM WORK 121 Providing and fixing aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections/ appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS: 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/ neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing / paneling, C.P. brass / stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-charge. (Glazing, paneling and dash fastenersto be paid for separately) : 122 For fixed portion 123 Powder coated aluminium (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron) 124 For shutters of doors, windows & ventilators including providing and fixing hinges/ pivots and making provision for fixing of fittings wherever required including the cost of EPDM rubber / neoprene gasket required (Fittings shall be paid for separately) 125 Powder coated aluminium (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron) 126 Providing and fixing glazing in aluminium door, window, ventilator shutters and partitions etc. with EPDM rubber / neoprene gasket etc. complete as per the architectural drawings and the directions of engineer-in-charge . (Cost of aluminium snap beading shall be paid in basic item): 127 With float glass panes of 4.0 mm thickness (weight not less than 10kg/sqm) 128 Filling the gap in between aluminium frame & adjacent RCC/ Brick/ Stone work by providing weather silicon sealant over backer rod of approved quality as per architectural drawings and direction of Engineer-in-charge complete. 129 Upto 5mm depth and 5 mm width 130 WATER PROOFING 131 Providingand applying fibre reinforced elastomeric liquid water proofing membrane with resilient acrylic polymers having Sun Reflectivity Index (SRI) of 105 on top of concrete roof in three coats @10.76 litre/ 10 sqm. One coat of self-priming of elastomeric waterproofing liquid (dilution with water in the ratio of 3:1) and two coats of undiluted elastomeric waterproofing liquid (dry film thickness of complete application/system not less than 500 microns). The operation shall be carried out after scrapping and properly cleaning the surface to remove loose particles with wire brushes, complete in all respect as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge. 132 NEW TECHNOLOGIES AND MATERIALS 133 Providing, mixing and applying bonding coat of approved adhesive on chipped portion of RCC as perspecifications and direction of Engineer-In-charge complete in all respect. 134 SBR Polymer (@10% of cement weight) modified cementitious bond coat @ 2.2 kg cement per sqm of surface area mixed with specified proportion of approved polymer 135 MINOR CIVIL MAINTENANCE WORK 136 P/F C.P brass towel rod complete with two C.P.brass brackets fixed to wooden cleats with C.P. brass screws of approved quality size of 600 x 20 mm. 137 Providing and fixing C.P. grating with or without hole for waste pipe for floor/ nahani trap 100 mm dia. weight not less than 100 grams. 138 Providing and fixing C.P flange for C.P bib cock/C.P angle stop cock. 139 Providing and fixing C.P Brass shower rose 15 mm or 20 mm inlet with shower arm (a) 75 mm dia fancy type. 140 Providing and fixing ISI marked flush door shutter non decorative type, core of block board construction with frame of first class hard wood and well matched commercial 3 ply veneering with vertical grains or cross bands and face veneers on both faces of shutters.35 mm thick including ISI marked M.S butt hinges with necessary screw complete. 141 Providing and fixing aluminum door seal in door i/c necessary screw etc complete. 142 Providind and fixing C.P. hand spray (heath faucet) with push button control and flexible hose connection with C.P hook of L&K make or approved equivalent complete in all respects.
