RMU shall be suitable for operation at an altitude of 1700 meter above MSL. The RMU shall be complete all as specified and directed and comprising of the following:-(1)3 Nos.- 630 Amp, 25KA, triple pole, manually operated Vacuum Ciruit Breaker encapsulated in SF6 Stainless steel tank with independent spring mechanism and fully rated earth switch with provision for earth of the cable. (2)3 Nos.- Air insulated cable boxes with split gland plate suitable for front side bottom entry 3 core cable up to 300 sq. mm. (3)1 No.- 630 Amp, 25KA, triple pole, single break, 3-postion (ON, OFF and EARTH) ring main switches, each with independent manual charged spring mechanism and fully rated earth switch, with provision for earth and test of the cable. (4)1 No.- Air insulated cable boxes and glands suitable for front and bottom cable entry 3-core up to 300 sq mm. 3 The Ring Main Unit should comprise of the following accessories:(a)1 Mimic diagram on front panel complete with status indicators. (b)1 Set of positive standard mechanical interlocks. (c)3 Set of current transformers for protective relays with suitable ratio class CT 200-100/5 A, Class5P10, 2.5VA for protection.(d)3 Nos. Self Powered Numerical relay with 3 O/c and 1 E/F.(e)1 No. Power pack equipment with backup of 15 minutes for operation for relays. (ii) The cost of PCC platform for mounting RMU Panel as per manufacturers instructions shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (iii) An operator situated in front, lateral and rear (A-FLR 21kA - 1 sec, downwards exhaust, for tank as well as cable compartment) of the RMU switchboard during an internal fault will not be exposed to the effects of arcing, Internal Arc Type Test Report for IAC AFLR 21 kA for 1 sec for both tank & cable box should have been for minimum 4 way/ 4 Function RMU.(iv) The circuit breakers shall have 2 positions :- open or disconnected and closed. A separate and independent 3 position earthing switch and disconnector shall be fitted to open and earth the cables in such way that interlocks prevent all unauthorised operations. An operating mechanism can be used to manually close the circuit breaker and charge the mechanism in a single movement. An independent mechanism shall be fitted for the 3 positions earthing switch and disconnector Circuit Breaker shall be fitted with a local system for manual tripping by an integrated push button. There will be no automatic reclosing. Circuit breaker shall have a min of 2000 mechanical and electrical operations and 50 Nos. dead short circuit operations. Disconnector and earth switch shall have a min of 1000 (M1) mechanical operations, 100 electrical operations at rated current and 5 Nos operatons at rated SC current. 6 Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Vacuum Circuit Breaker of 800 Amps, fault level of 25 KA for 3 sec, totally enclosed, air insulated metal clad housing, horizontal isolation, vermin proof, fully interlocked horizontal draw out type operation sequence 0-0.3 sec-CO-3 min - CO having double isolation, both the incomers shall be interlocked (Electrically) with Bus coupler. The offered panels shall be tested for IAC level of min 25 kA/1s, complete all as specified and directed and consisting of the following for incoming :- 7 (i) Manually and motor operated, spring charged (release closing mechanism) trip free type, triple pole truck mounted draw out, Vacuum Circuit Breaker, incorporating mechanical as well as electrical ON/OFF indication. Spring charge/discharge mechanical indication OFF push buttons for emergency trip (shrouded) test/service position limit switches with min 6 NO/6 NC breaker auxiliary contact in service position, 30/24 volts DC shunt trip coil and strip heaters with thermostat switch. Any variation in length shall be adjusted through deviation order. 34 M&L for Excavation in trenches n exc 1.5m wide or n exc 10 sq m on plan, depth exc 1.5m but n exc 3.0m for foundation, etc or for laying of cables, poles, pipes, etc and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.Note: Entire excavation shall be carried out manually only. No machinery such as JCB/Excavator shall be used for excavation to avoid damage of existing electric supply/water supply/signal assets. This aspect shall be noted by bidders while quoting the bid. 35 Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm complete all as specified anddirected. 36 Removing of excavated soil to a distance n. exc. 50 mtr and deposited where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed. 37 Dismantling and taking down the existing HT over head ACSR line from any description complete all as specified and directed. 38 Dismantling and taking down the existing LT/HT insulators of any type from any description complete all as specified and directed. 39 Dismantling and taking out the existing HT 11 mtr pole of any type complete all as specified and directed. 40 Dismantling cross-arms of M.S. channel or angle sections etc. complete all as specified and directed. 41 Dismantling stay assembly complete all as specified and directed.
