Tender For Annual Civil Maintenance 2024-25 At Prp Site Kalpakkam.; 1 Earthwork excavation in sandy soil and other types of soil upto 1.50m if encountered purpose of foundation, ground leveling & shaping to required sizeslopes , backfilling etc.compacting of earth by ramming/watering or other means. Removing ofsurplus earth with a lead up to 50.00metres andas per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 2 Dismantling of RCC works/brick work including scaffolding, stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 200 mtr. lead as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 3 Dismantling old weather proofing materials suchbrick bat coba / foam concrete and screed concrete, removing base bitumen coat also at all levelsand cleaning the surface,with water jetlowering the dismentled material through Dust chute etc.,including disposal of rubbish to the dumping yard within 700 meters lead allas per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. ( The work described above is to be executed at a height of upto 12.00m) 4 Conveying thesurplus excavatedearthdebris , boulders and spoil by mechanical means and depositingat identifiedplacesas dumping yard as per requirement with a lead for 1st 1 kilometer or part thereofincluding loading ,unloading, breaking clods , levelling all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer - in- Charge. 1) The rates in respect of this Item are applicable for the net quantities arrived at after making deductions for the voids @20 % in respect of soil and @50% in respect of Rock from the correspondingStack/ truck measurements.2) The earth shall be dumped well inside the dumping yard and not over approach pathway road complete all as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 5 Providing and laying Cement Concrete 1:3:6 using 20mm and downgraded size hard granite broken stone in foundations, trenches etc. including necessary form work, ramming, compaction, leveling, mechanical mixing, curing, dewatering, if any, complete as per drawing , specification and direction of Engineer in charge. 6 Providing and Casting in situ Reinforced Cement Concrete M30 grade at all heightsusing machine crushed hard broken granite stone of maximum size 20mm, curing , mechanical mixing, transporting,placing of lifts vibrating, consolidation etc., as directed by Engineer in Charge. Note: minimum cement content is 400kg/Cum. 7 Manufacturing, supplying, hoisting and fixied in position at all lifts, Precast units of various patterns an size forprecast plain solid units, 50mm/75mm/100mm thick slabs, karb stone, exhaust fan moulds etc., in reinforced cement concrete of 1:1.5:3, using 20mm and below machine crushed graded stone aggregate including weight batching, mechanical mixing, casting, vibrating,finishing of exposed faces, curing, necessary formwork & moulds, transporting and placing at all lifts, preparation of connections, grouting with cement mortar/cement grout wherever needed excludingsteel reinforcement complete all as per drawing, specification and as directed by engineer-in-charge. 8 Providing ,Cutting ,bending placing ,binding steel reinforcement in all reinforced concrete works Fe 500D make TATA , VIZAG, TMT bars including cost of spacer blocks, CM1:2 and binding wire complete as per drawing and specifications complete all as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 9 Providing, Supplying, cutting, bending to shape, welding, fabricatiog, hoisting, placing and fixing in position Structural steel members like trusses, purlins etc. using MS hollow / circular / square / rectangular tubular sections including chamfering and rounding off the edges, applying a coats of Red lead paint primer / Zinc chromate primer of approved make and 2 coats of flat oil paint / synthetic enamel paint of approved colour and make, scaffolding and staging requird for fabrication as well as erection etc., the rate inculdes removing / cutting/ dismendling existing gate and shifting to PRP scrap yard etc., complete all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note : Lifting device,cutting, welding arrangements if any requird also arraged by the contractor at his own cost. 10 Providing, Supplying, cutting, bending to shape, welding, fabricating, hoisting, placing and fixing in position Structural steel members like trusses, purlins etc. using MS hollow / circular / square / rectangular tubular sections including chamfering and rounding off the edges,applying G.I.coating 100 microns and above by hot dipping , scaffolding and staging required for fabrication as well as erection complete all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note : Lifting device arrangements if any required also arranged by the contractor at his own cost. 11 Supplying, placing in position and removing Formwork for all insitu concrete works including sloped roof and arches etc., as per drawings and specifications, all centering, scaffolding complete and as directed by Engineer -In-Charge. (Measurement for the formwork shall be the area of forms in contact with concrete surfaces). 12 Providing and laying 230mm brick work with well burnt stock bricks in cement mortar 1:5 at all levels(uptofifteen floor)inclusive of tools, scaffolding ,raking out joints, curing etc. as per specification anddirection of Engineer -in- charge. 13 Providing and constructing 110mm thick (plus or minus 5mm) brick work in Cement Mortar 1:4 for partition walls at all levels using well burnt stock bricks/fly ash bricks including supplying and providing 2 nos. of 8mm MS rod at every fourth layer, scaffolding, curing complete all as per specifications anddirected by Engineer -in- charge. Note: The contractor shall make his own arrangements for supply of 8 mm MS rods of required quantity for the works. 14 Providing and constructing Random rubble masonry in cement mortar 1:6using hard granite stones obtained from approved quarrywith bond stones at 2.00 meters apart for foundation, basementand in superstructures, compound/boundary walls, including size of stones at all levelsinclusive of tools, scaffolding ,raking out joints, pointing, curing etc. as per specification anddirection of Engineer -in- charge. 15 Providing & layingRubble Stone soling using150mm thick, hand packed set inregular lines filling the interstices with smaller stone chips of appropriate size & binding with murrum,watering, ramming, consolidatingwith power rollerand all tools, tackles, materials, manpowers, machinery etc.,., as per specifications, drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 16 Providingandlayingintegral cement based water proofing treatmentincluding preparation of surfaces required for treatment of roofs, balconies, terraces etc. with average thickness of 120 mm and minimum thickness at khurra as 65 mm consisting of following operations: (i) Applying a grouting slurry coat of neat cement using 2.75 kg /sq .m of cement admixed with proprietary water proofing compound confirming to IS:2645 over RCC slab including adjoining walls up to 300 mm height including cleaning the surface before treatment. (ii)Laying brick bats with mortars using broken brick bats 25mm to 115mm size with 50% of cement mortar 1:5 (using coarse sand) admixed with proprietary water proofing compound confirming to IS:2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge over 20mm thick layer of C.M 1:5 (using coarse sand) admixed with·proprietary water proofing compound confirming to IS 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge to required slope and treating similarly the adjoining walls up to 300mm height including rounding of junctions of walls and slabs. (iii) After 2 days of proper curing applying a second coat of cement slurry admixed with propreitary water proofing compound confirming to IS:2645 and approved by Engineer-in-Charge. (iv) Finishing the surface with 20mm thick jointless cement mortar of mix 1:4 ·using coarse sand admixed with proprietary water proofing compound confirming to 1S 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge including mixingRECRON35 fibre or approved equivalent meeting all the technical specifications as per relevant codes at the rate of 125 grams per 50kg of cement in top layer ofplasterandfinallyfinishing the surfacewithtrowel with neat cement slury and makingpattern of 300x300 mm square, 3mm deep. (v) The whole terrace so finished shall be flooded with water for a minimum period of 2 weeks for curing and for final test. All above operations to be done in order and as directed and as specified by the Engineer in charge.Note: a)The contractor shall get written approval from the Engineer-in-charge, for the water proofing agencyengaged and shall submit the specification of the waterproofingagency before commencement of work. b)The contractor shall test the surface where water proofing treatment provided for bone dry condition by filling up with water. No wet patches or leaks shall appear on the surrounding wall or under side of the slab. c)The contractor shall furnish guarantee bond on appropriate stamp paper as per Proforma given in Tender Document for the entire waterproofing treatment for maintaining the surroundings and under side surfaces of the waterproofing treated area in bone dry condition for 10 years. During the guarantee period the contractor shall attend all leakages, defects etc. if noticed, free of cost, starting the work of checking up and rectification within a weeks time from the date of intimation about such leakages / defects. 17 Providing and laying cement based water proofing treatment over the roof slab/gutterat all height/level/Elevation with a course layer of broken bricks of various size to an average thickness of 75mm over a 20mm thick bed cement mortar 1:5 mixed with water proof compound, plastering top layer12mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 mixed with water proofing compound, finished smooth with thread marking at 300mm squares etc., including with all tools, tackles, materials, manpowers, equipments, machinery etc., completed all as per specification and directed by Engineer-In-Charge. 18 Plastering with cement mortar 1:4, 12mm thick for brickwork for internal and external faces ,finished smoothincluding mixing MasterEmaco SBR 2 ofBASF / Nitobond SBR / approved equivalent at the rate of 7 Lt. / Bag of cement ,scaffolding , curing etc complete all as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Note: MasterEmaco SBR 2 ofBASF / Nitobond SBRshall be supplied by department. 19 Plastering with cement mortar 1:3, 6mm thick for brickwork for internal and external faces ,finished smoothincluding mixing MasterEmaco SBR 2 ofBASF / Nitobond SBR / approved equivalent at the rate of 7 Lt. / Bag of cement ,scaffolding , curing etc complete all as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Note: MasterEmaco SBR 2 ofBASF / Nitobond SBRshall be supplied by department. 20 Repairs to plaster With cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 fine sand)of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sq.meters and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground, all complete as per direction of Engineerin-Charge. 21 Providing and laying first quality Jointless Vitrified tile in Size of Tile 600 x 1200mm for Flooring / Dadoo / Skirting with water absorptions less than 0.08% conforming to IS: 15622of make Kajaria/marbonite/nitcoor other approved make in all colours, shades and design including setting over base layer of 20mm thick in cement mortar 1:4, by using cerabond or other approved adhesive,spacer block, grouting the joints with epoxy based joint filling material or other equivalent jointing materials, curing, cleaning the surface with acid wash,with all tools, tackles, materials, manpowers, equipments, machinery etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer in charge. Note:-The sample shall be got approved by the Engineer-in-charge before making bulk order. 22 Providinglaying 40mm thick concrete flooringwith 12mm thick metallic concrete hardener topping at all levelsand floors consisting ofunder layer 28mm thick cement concrete1:1:2 using crushedstone sand ( 1 cement: 1 fine aggregate: 2 stone aggregate of 12.5mm nominal size) by volume and top layer 12mm thick cement hardener consisting of mix 1:2(1 cement hardrener of Hardonate/Ironite or approved equivalent : 2 graded stone aggregate 6mm nominal size by volume)(metalic harderner and cement mixed ratio 1:4) prepared as p er manufacture s instructions inluding chipping the concrete surface, finishing , curing , Flooring will be laid in 1.5x1.5m panels in chess board fashion separated by glass panel members to avoid shrinkage cracks, all tools, tackles, materials, manpowers, equipments, machinery etc., as per specification, drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 23 Providing,making and fixing of Teak wood (II nd class) door frame (100x50mm) / door shutters (150x32mm) / window shutters (65x32mm)in wall including S.S fastener nuts & bolts, labour for removal of damaged portion of existing door frames, with two coats of synthetic enamel over a one coat of primer etc.,complete all as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 24 Providing and fixing anodized aluminium (Anodised transparent or dyed to required shade according to IS:1868 Minimum Anodic coating of grade AC 15) work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections / Z sections and other sections of approved make confirming to IS:733 and IS:1285 fixed with raw plugs and screws or with fixing clips or with expansion hold fasteners including necessary filling up of gaps at junctions, at top, bottom and sides with required PVC / neoprene felt etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever requiredincluding cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing / panelling, C.P. brass / stainless screws all complete as per architectural / drawings and directions of Engineer-in-Charge including providing and fixing hinges / pivots and making provision for fixing of fittings wherever required. (fittings, Glazing and panelling shall be paid for separately). Note: 1) The rates for aluminium is inclusive of all fasteners required for fabrication and fixing in the walls. 2) All joints shall be of mittered joints. 3) A long M.S. rod threaded at both ends to be provided in all aluminium door shutter in top & bottom horizontal members internally connecting vertical members and fixed with M.S. washers & nuts. 4) Only Aluminium members alone shall be measured and paid for. 25 Providing IS:12817 marked Stainless steelbutt hinges of size 125 x 64 x 2.5mm (heavy weight) GARG or equivalent approved make with suitable stainless steel screws etc. complete all as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 26 Providing and fixing in position 5.0 mm thick clear Float glass pane in aluminium doors, window, vantilator shutters of approved quality (SAINT GOBIN) including EPDM rubber / neoprene gasket / glass putty,mastic, etccomplete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge. 27 Providing and fixing in position 5.0 mm thick tinted colour Float glass pane in aluminium doors, window, vantilator shutters of approved quality (SAINT GOBIN) including EPDM rubber / neoprene gasket / glass putty,mastic, etccomplete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge. 28 Providing and fixing in position 6.0 mm thick toughned and tinted colourFloat glass pane in aluminium doors, window, vantilator shutters of approved quality (SAINT GOBIN) including EPDM rubber / neoprene gasket / glass putty,mastic, etccomplete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge. 29 providing and fixing best Quality EPDM rubber / Nylone/neoprene gasketbeading for windows/doors etc. all as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 30 providing and fixing best Quality lock for aluminium windows, including C.P brass screws etc., for maintance work complete all as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 31 providing and fixing best Quality S.S screws all sizes for windows/doors sections and maintance work etc. all as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 32 providing and fixing best Quality wheels for sliding windows with screws etc., complete all as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 33 Repairing , removing and refixing door/window fittings, door closer, aldrop, tower bolt, door stopper, door handles, door hinges, sizing of door,dismentling concrete and plaster , adjusting and refixing the door frame, applyingpainting etc., the rate including tools and tacklescomplete all building related carpentry works asdirectd by the Engineer-In-Charge.Note: 1. Supply of One Carpenter & One helper for eight hours work. 2. fittings shall be supplied by the department. 34 Repairing brick work, plaster, R.C.C ,flooring ,IPS, making brick/ concrete pedstrals, fixing shuttering, excavation, earth filling, dismentling concrete and plasteretc.,complete all building related masonary works as per specifications and as directed by Engineer in charge. Note:1.Supply of One Mason & one Helperfor eight hours work. 2.Raw materials require for the work shall besupplied by the department. 35 Servicing,Fabrication and Maintenance of Aluminium doors/ Window frames, shutters, Entry Doors and Door panels, Ventilators including the providing andreplacement of broken glass, aluminium sections of different cross section,EPDM rubber / neoprene gasket , button type locks, rollers, screws etc in different buildings at PRP site at all heights ofBldg, and fixing them back in orginal position, including scaffoldingetc.,complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (Note : Operation. means supply of oneAluminium Fitterfora day [eight hours ] to execute the above work) 36 Servicing,Fabrication and Maintenance of Aluminium doors/ Window frames, shutters, Entry Doors and Door panels, Ventilators including the providing andreplacement of broken glass, aluminium sections of different cross section,EPDM rubber / neoprene gasket , button type locks, rollers, screws etc in different buildings at PRP site at all heights ofBldg, and fixing them back in orginal position, including scaffoldingetc.,complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (Note : Operation. means supply of oneHelperfor aluminium fittera day [eight hours ] to execute the above work) 37 Providing and applying Berger or approved equivalent make premium weather coat long life 10 exterioremulsion paint added with PU and silicon of accepted shade & color in two or more coats over a coat of Damp shield paintto give an even shade on all plastered / Rough cast surface of External / Internal walls at all heights. The rate shall be inclusive of surface preparation, applying putty, filling the cracks with Berger (Home shield) or approved equivalent crack fill paste , water jet cleaning of existing external surface, preparing the base , sandring the surface with sand paper, washing and scrubbing with coir/wire brush, attending to broken edges /corners or patches of plastered surface, etc. complete all as per technical specification and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 38 Painting Two coatsofAcrylic emulsion paint (APEXor equivalent)of approved brand ,preparation of surface, applying putty, the rate includes filling the cracks with Asian crack seal material, scaffolding, all tools, tackles, materials, manpowers, equipments, machinery etc., all complete as per specification, drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 39 Poviding and applying PaintingOne coat at all levels with Acrylic emulsion paint (APEX or Equivalent approved brand) to give an even shade for false ceiling including preparation of the surfaces, applying putty, scaffolding complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge. 40 Poviding and applying Kerb wall Paintingtwo coat at all levels with Acrylic emulsion paint (APEX or Equivalent approved brand) to give an even shade to complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge. 41 Providing and Painting Two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved colour over a coat of primer forDoor shutter/window and Frame workand making the surface by scraping, rubbing, applying putty / wood filler etc. compled all as perspecifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 42 Providing and Painting Two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved colourforDoor shutter/window and Frame locations prepared and applied as per manufacture specifications including a priming coat, preparation of surface and etching with 10%commercial Hydrochloric acid wherever necessary an neutralizing the acid etched areas by washing with 5% solution of soda ash neatly and washing with sufficient water, after first coat Epoxy based trowelling compound if required, including preparation of the surface by scrapping,applying sand paper,filling the holes, joints, cracks if any, etc.complete all as per manufactures Technical Data and as directed at site to achieve 200micron dry film G.I. pipes , sparesandplumbing fittings shall be supplied by the department. 55 Cleaning ofsewer lineof all sizes including disposal of sludge as per specification and as perspecifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 56 Supply, mixing and placing in position the Micro Concrete MasterEmaco S348 of BASF/ RENDEROC RG (S) of FOSROC or equivalent product approved by the engineer-in-charge as per the list mentioned in the Specific requirements under Notes to the Agency as per the manufacturers recommendations as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, including mixing in suitable and approvedmixing machine, pumping of micro concrete under pressure using approved Pneumatic pumps or manually so as to ensure that the concrete laid for encasement in dense, properly compacted, free from honey combs etc all as directed and approved by the Engineer-in-charge. 57 Supply and application of two coats of anti corrosion primer MasterEmaco P130 of BASF /NITOZINC PRIMER of FOSROC or equivalent product approved by the engineer-in-charge as per the list mentioned in the Specific requirements under Notes to the Agency as per manufacturersrecommendation to the exposed steel reinforcement including manpower, brushes, scaffolding arrangements etc., complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 58 Providing and application of bonding agent with long open time at all heights MASTER BRACE 1414 of BASF or equivalent product approved by the engineer-in-charge as per thethe Specific requirementsand applicationof bonding agentas per manufacturers recommendation etc., complete all. as per specifications, drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 59 Providing 50kg cement bags 43 grade penna/ultratech makeconforming IS 269 for repairing works, the rate including transportation up to PRP site, loading and unloading etc., complete all as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 60 Providing and mixing MasterEmaco SBR 2 in plastring mortor for RCC old structures BASF/FOSROC construction chemicals make or approved equivalent includingtransportation etc., complete allas per specifications, drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-charge 61 Providing ,fixing & removing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven story height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after .The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineerin-charge.The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose.
