Tender For Renovation Of Classrooms At K Cluster At Iimb; 1 Dismantling of Existing False Ceiling: Removing existing damaged perforated false ceiling grids, tiles, suspenders etc, stacking it with all cost and conveyance labour for all items of work as per specification including disposal of unserviceable material to the specified location away from work site etc, complete as directed. 2 Removal of old Vinyl floor tiles: Removal of old worn-out/damaged vinyl floor tiles. removal of residue including adhesive from the wooden false flooring. Making the surface neat and suitable for fixing one more layer of plywood. Disposal of unserviceable material to the specified location away from work site etc, complete as directed. 3 Renovation of Wooden False Flooring: Renovation of wooden false flooring by providing strenthening/tightening wherever required, grinding the bulged, uneven surface neatly and providing additional layer of 12mm BWP plywood for the entire floor surface evenly and neatlyusing synthetic adhesive such as Fevicol (SH) and also fixing firmly by means of phillips screws. Providing necessary grooves, cutouts in the floor for cabling and fixing electrical and other sockets etc complete as directed. 4 Vinyl flooring:Providing 2.00 mm thick vinyl flooring of selected colour and Pattern in tiles of size approximately 300 x 300mm of approved brand for wooden false flooring, skirtings etc using rubber based adhesive recommended by the manufacturer etc complete as directed. 5 Alterations to the Entrance Door: Removal of entrance door shutter, reducing the height to accommodate Vinyl flooring and refixing the same with necessary hardware etc complete as directed 6 Grid False Ceiling: Providing and fixing of Soft Fibre AcousticalSuspended Ceiling system in module size of 600 X 600 X 25 mm with angled tegular/Straight Edge tiles with exposed grid The tiles should have Humidity Resistance (RH) of 95%, NRC 09, Light Reflectance 85%, color White, Fire Performance UK Class / Class 1 (BS 476 pt-687) and suitable for Green Building Application, with recycled content of 66% GW & 74% RW The tile shall be laid on 15 mm wide T- Section flanges colour white having Rotary Stitching on all T Sections, ie the Main Runner, 1200 mm 2600 mm Cross Tees with a web height of 38 mm and a load carrying capacity of 13.2 kgs/Sqm&pull out strength of minimum 100 kgs. The T-Sections have a Galvinizing of 90 grams per Sqm and need to be installed with suspension of approved make 7 Renovation of Existing Acoustic Wall Paneling:Removal of damaged perforated acoustic tiles, removal of wooden frame sections, glass wool padding etc without damages to the walls and replacement with perforated acoustic tiles, Sal wood frames glass wool padding etc using all necessary shortfall material, hardware material after exhausting the available material. Making necessary provision/cutout etc to conceal all exposed wiring, switch boards etc, complete as directed. 8 Classroom Tables: Providing and fixing in position Tables made using 16 Gauge 40 x 20 mm CRCA tubular sections for vertical supporting frames at every 1.50m C/C approximately and 20 x 20mmframes for front modesty panel, Top, foot rest and Shelf supports. All metal sections to be suitably powder coated as per required colour. Providing Table Top using 19mm BWP plywood of Archid/Greenply make. Providing 19mm BWP ply of Archid/Greenply for shelves. Providing 12mm BWP ply of Archid/Greenply make for side coverings and modesty panel. Both inner and outer surfaces of top, modesty panel and side coverings finished with 1mm lamination using Fevicol SH adhesive. Providing suitable 25 x 19mm Beach wood edge beadings all around the top in the given profile and 25 x 6mm beachwood beadings for top, bottom, vertical ends and intermediates at every 1.5m approximate to the modesty panel. Beadings shall be with neat melamine polishing. Table to be rigidly fixed to the floor at the required location. Rate including all material cost, labour cost, Transportation fixing at site making provision for cabling work etc complete as directed. (To be manufactured at factory/production unit after approval of theshop drawing and mock up). The production status will be inspected and monitored by IIMB team from time to time) . 9 Box Type Pelmet Band: Providing and fixing box type pelmet bands made of 19mm BWP ply of approved make for Front, Top and Side supports. Providing 1mm lamination for exposed surfaces and enamel painting for all inner surfaces. Providing beach wood beadings for the edges with neat melamine polishing, complete as directed. Approximate Height shall be 150mm 10 Engineered Rubber wood panels: Providing and fixing 12mm engineered rubber AA Grade panels alround the frames of white writing board using all necessary material, hardware etc including neat mellamine polishing for the exposed surfaces of the panels after surface preparation such as filler, sealer coating etc, complete as directed. The height of panels shall be 150 to 200mm approximate. 11 Lamination for wooden panels: Providing and fixing 1mm laminate of required colour over the wooden bands at false ceiling level. Providing Beachwood beadings at the bottom using all necessary material, hardware etc including neat mellamine polishing for the beadings after surface preparation such as filler, sealer coating etc, complete as directed. The height of panels shall be 150 to 200mm approximate. 12 Renovation of Lectern: Renovation of existing lectern, replacing necessary hardware such as drawer slides, door hinges etc wherever necessary, removal of existing lamination by using heat gun, scraping the surface and providing new 1mm lamination including beachwood beadings etc. Finishing the inner surfaces suitably etc complere as directed. 13 Removal of conference table: Removal of existing conference table without damages into required segments, shifting the same away from its location and stacking for further use to facilitate provision of Vinyl flooring in that area. 14 Groove Cutting in Tandoor/Wooden Flooring: Cutting necessary grooves/holes in Tandoor/wooden flooring using groove cutting machine, providing aluminium channels of required section to facilitate drawing of cables etc including making the surface good for pasting Vinyl flooring etc , complete as directed. 15 Renovation, Alteration, Relamination and fixing in position Conference Table: Removal of old lamination and Pine wood beadings by using hot air gun, scraper including all necessary labour and material including buffing the surface etc complete. Extension of table segments by providing additions to corners using 19mm BWR ply. Providing new modesty panel using 12mm BWR plywood ofapproved make. Providing equavalent of Lectern at one end. Refixing the segmented conference table after shifting back to its location, providing new lamination and all other repairs using required material, hardware etc. Providing beach wood beadings in the given configuration. Polishing neatly complete as directed. 16 Verticle Blinds: Providing and fixing Verticle Blinds of approved colour and fabric for all windows with all necessary accessories viz headrails, dead weights, links, acrylic tilting rods,etc including cost of all materials, labour, lead and lift charges and all other incidental charges etc complete as per design drawing the work shall be carried out as per directions of Engineer -in-charge. 17 Strengthening for fixing AC units: Providing necessary Sal wood framework and 19mm BWRplywood to support AC units including all necessary material, hardware etc complete as directed. 18 Acrylic Emulsion Painting: Providing and applying painting in Two coats with Acrylic emulsion (premium Grade) paint of approved brand and manufacture on walls etc as per specifications 19 Enamel Painting: Providing and applying painting enamel paint in Two coats on wooden doors, MS grills surface brushing to give an even shade after cleaning oil.grease dirt and other foreign matter, including cost of materials, labour complete as per specifications 20 Lectern: Manufacture, supply and placing in position Lectern made of 19mm BWR ply made to required shape, size and configuration having suitable sliding shelfs, key board shelf, doors etc. Providing 1mm lamination of suitable colour to all inner and outer surfaces etc. Providing necessary hardware etc complete as directed.Approx. dimension- width-800mm, Length-800mm, Height-1000mm. 21 Ceramic Steel Board: Providing and fixing in position Hi-gloss approved brand ceramic steel magnetic white boardof required dimensions suitable for writing made of ceramic steel magnetic board on MDF backing and GI sheet protective backer to prevent board getting damaged due to moisture with necessary Sal wood framework of section 50 x 30mm alround and finished with 12mm Agrade Engineered Rubber wood with neat melamine polishing etc complete as directed. 22 Acoustic Wall Panelling: Providing 12 mm thick0.40 NRC acoustic panels of suitable colour and combination on a backing of 8mm MR Grade ply of approved make. Fixing the same with synthetic resin adhesive recomended by the manufacturerand other hardware material etc complete as directed. 23 Ply Panelling/Strengthening:Providing 19mm BWR plywood panels including wooden framework and 1mm lamination for exposed surfaces wherever necessary for mounting projectors, speakers, backing for projector screens, strenghtening for mounting AC units and other equipments etc including all necessary hardware material etc complete as directed. 24 Miscellaneous works:a. Removal of old writing board with framework, old pelmet band without damages to the walls ceiling etc and stacking.b. Removal of old damaged verticle blinds and stacking.c. Removal of old mosquito meshed windows and stacking.d. Removal of unwanted electrical casings, pipes, hanging wires etc.e. Providing plywood covers and POP for undulation in flooring, around electrical junction boxes etc.
