Bids Are Invited For Custom Bid for Services - 6000 HRS ROUTINE WATER SEAL Marine Bearing Mcgs Huravee Hm 811 - 6000 HRS ROUTINE/WATER SEAL/MARINE BEARING – MCGS HURAVEE HM811 - Carry out replacement of water seal Removal of CENTALINK drive shaft assembly. Removal of water jet coupling, Bearing housing, JHPU unit, Thrust bearing and water seal Replacement of water seal and thrust bearing. Assembly of bearing housing coupling and CENTALINK drive shaft assembly. Oil & Filter renewal Impeller Blades - Check for wear and damage Check clearance Measurement of Impeller tip clearance Measure marine bearing ID and shaft sleeve OD at the front, center and rear of each bearing Measuring ID: Typical new clearance: 0.71 mm -1.1 mm Wear Limit: 2mm Replace bearings/sleeves if diametrical clearance beyond wear limits. Record readings in relevant document and forward a copy to INSMA Removal of reverse duct, Nozzle Assy & Tailpipe Measure marine bearing ID and sleeve OD Replace new Ten mat bearing and sleeve if diametrical clearance beyond wear limit Assembly of tailpipe, Nozzle housing and reverse duct. Inspect steering crank pin a) Lubricate the shaft and a new O -Ring b) Check condition of washers and circlip, replace if necessary Visual inspection of steering crank. Check for wear and damage Replace washer and circlip Examine steering nozzle and nozzle housing Dismantle and overhaul nozzle housing Examine the condition of Standard tailpipe check insulation between the Jet unit and hull Insulation value should be 1000 ohms or greater Note: Assistence of Electrical dept. to be sought for undertaking this routine. Check insulation between Jet unit and Hull Visually inspect oil coolers. a) Check for leaks or damage around the sealing face of the oil cooler and cooler cover plate.
