Tender For Civil Works For The Government Exhibition 2024 At Tirunelveli; 1 Earth work excavating and depositing in places as directed by Departmental Officers in all leads and lifts in hard stiff. clay, stiff black cotton, hard red earth shales, murrams and all other types of soils. 2 Labour charges for providing temporary GI sheet compound wall & partitions. with necessary casuarina posts of size 10 to 13 cm dia, embedded in ground to a minimum depth of 60 cm. and at 2.75m c/c & providing crosses if necessary and secured with nails etc. complete as directed by Departmental Officers including maintenance during the exhibition period but excluding the hire charges for the GI sheets. The necessary GI sheets required will be supplied by the department at the site work at free of hire charges. The same to be returned to the department immediately after the exhibition is over. 3 Labour charges by providing temporary GI sheet roofing for all spans & heights with necessary casuarina posts of 10 to 13 cm dia embedded in the ground to a minimum depth of 70 cm at 3.05 m c/c and with suitable horizontals at 1.2 m c/c and also with diagonals, if necessary, tied with ropes and coirs and secured with nails etc, complete as directed by Departmental Officers including plugging all the holes in the roof with suitable water proofing material and maintaining during the exhibition period. Roof slope shall be 1 in 6 and an offset of 15 cm shall be provided on all sides. Payment to be made for the plinth area covered measured on floor excluding hire charges for GI sheets which will be supplied by the Department at site of work at free of cost and the same to be returned to the immediately after the exhibition is over. 4 Hire charges for providing temporary fencing gates of required sizes in single leaf or double leaves with best country wood battens of size 100 mm x 50 mm for verticals, horizontals and diagnosis, fixed with GI sheets with necessary nails, screws & placing in position with casuarina posts of size 13 to 15 cm embedded in ground to a minimum depth of 75 cm including kondi, hinges per side. Tower bolts padlocks with all necessary fittings etc., complete including maintenance during the exhibition period. 5 Hire charges for providing barricading using 8 to 10 cm dia. Casuarina posts at a spacing of 1-8 m, with a height up to 1.00 m above ground level and embedded 50 cm below the ground and secured with layers of Casuarina wallings of 5 cm to 8 cm dia at 33 cm tied with coir ropes etc. complete as directed by Departmental Officers including maintenance during exhibition period. 6 Hire charges for providing partitions & side covering with a double layer of bamboo mat thatti including of diagonals and frames of split bamboo reapers 40mm wide on both sides tying, binding, fixing in position etc., complete as directed by Departmental Officers including maintenance during the exhibition period. Windows of bamboo that ties shall be provided wherever directed. 7 Hire charges for providing, ceiling, side covering, partitions, etc., with white or colour cloth fixed by suitable means using reapers as directed by the Departmental Officers including maintenance during the period of exhibition in Kalai Arangam and Exhibition Inauguration Board. 8 Hire charges for providing, ceiling, side covering, partitions, etc., with 6 mm thick commercial plywood including necessary country wood reapers for frames etc., as directed by Departmental Officers inclusive of maintenance during the period of exhibition. 9 Hire charges for providing temporary wooden platforms and barricades using country wood 40 mm thick supported by the frame work of c.w. scantlings 5 cm x 5 cm -90 cm c/c which will be supported by casuarina posts of dia 8 to 10 cm upto 1.2m height above ground level placed at 90cm c/c both ways embedded to a minimum depth of 50 cm in ground suitably fixed and placed in position, secured with nails etc., complete as directed by Departmental Officers including maintenance during the period of exhibition(For Kalaiarangam). 10 Hire charges for providing temporary wooden platforms and barricades using country wood 40 mm thick supported by the frame work of c.w. scantlings 5 cm x 5 cm -90 cm c/c which will be supported by casuarina posts of dia 8 to 10 cm upto 0.3m height above ground level placed at 90cm c/c both ways embedded to a minimum depth of 50 cm in ground suitably fixed and placed in position, secured with nails etc., complete as directed by Departmental Officers including maintenance during the period of exhibition. 11 Brick work in cement mortar 1:5 (one cement and five sand) using ground moulded bricks II sort. 12 Plastering with cement mortar 1:5 (one cement and five sand) - 12 mm thick as directed by Departmental Officers. 13 Hire charges for supplying & fixing the wate closets in position with necessary traps and bends & maintenance during the period of exhibition excluding laying of stoneware pipes etc. complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the Departmental Officers including maintenance during the exhibition period. 14 Hire charges for laying of stone ware/ PVC pipes at Y junctions to all depths and directions including earth work excavation, refilling and maintenance during the period of exhibition etc. complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the Departmental Officers. 15 Hire charges for providing casuarina posts 8 cm to 10 cm dia; 5 to 6 m height erected with a minimum depth of 70 cm each in ground for light posts, sound boxes frames or lying about G.L. for Drama stage paranais, frames and any other purposes in the exhibition ground. and maintaining during the exhibition period. If the soil is loose, erection of posts should be done so as to attain sufficient strength complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the Departmental Officers during execution of work. 16 Hire charges for providing benches for ticket counters, sides of doors, etc. with country wood planks, 40 mm thick, fixed with casuarina posts wherever required at suitable spacings secured with nails etc., as directed by Departmental Officers including maintenance during the exhibition period. 17 Hire charges for providing plywood doors of size 0.6 m x 1.8 m using 4 mm commercial plywood and reapers of 5 cm x 2.5 cm and with country wooden frames of 7.5 cm x 5 cm size including all fittings like hinges, bolts, padlocks, handles and placing in position complete as directed by Departmental Officers including maintenance during the exhibition period. 18 Hire charges for providing plywood doors of size: 0.75m x 1.8 m using 4 mm commercial plywood & reapers of 5 cm x 2.5 cm and with country wood frames of 7.5 cm x 5 cm size including all fittings like hinges, bolts, padlocks handles & placing in position complete as directed by Departmental Officers including maintenance during the exhibition period. 19 Hire charges for providing plywood doors of size 0.9m x 1.8m using 4 mm commercial plywood & reapers of 5 cm x 2.5 cm and with country wood frames of 7.5 cm x 5 cm sizes including all fittings like hinges, bolts, padlocks, handles & placing in position complete as directed by Departmental Officers including maintenance during the exhibition period. 20 Distempering two coats over a priming coat with oil bound distemper of approved quality and prescribed colours including all charges etc., complete, complying with standard specifications and as directed by the Departmental Officers during execution of work. 21 Conveyance of New GI sheets from the exhibition godown at salem and tirunelveli exhibition ground to the exhibition ground at Tirunelveli and safely, handing over the GI sheets including counting, loading and unloading etc., as directed by the Departmental Officers. 22 Loading the exhibition materials from the godown at Salem conveying the same and unloading the materials at the exhibition ground at Tirunelveli safely as directed by the Departmental Officers etc. Complete. 23 Conveyance of old GI sheets from the exhibition godown at salemand tirunelveli exhibition ground to the exhibition ground at Tirunelveli and safely, handing over the GI sheets including counting, loading and unloading etc., as directed by the Departmental Officers. 24 Loading the exhibition materials from the exhibition ground at Tirunelveli conveying the same and safely unloading them at exhibitiongodown at salem. as directed by the Departmental Officers. 25 Labour charges for the construction of drama stage of size 12.2m x 10.7m with casuarina poles erected in ground to 1.0 m height of 0.7 m at the center and with roof slope number 1:1:6 spreading casuarina poles and tying with number of casuarina poles in both directions for central prison (paranai) for screening purpose at 1.00 m c/c, the height of paranai to be 5 m from the platform for all spans & height with necessary casuarina post of 10 cm to 15 cm dia embedded in the ground to a minimum depth of 1.0 m at 3.05 m c/c and with suitable horizontals at 1.2m c/c and also with diagonals, if necessary, tied with ropes and coirs and secured with nails etc. complete, as directed by the Departmental Officers including plugging all the holes in the G.I. Sheet roof with suitable water proof materials with maintaining during the exhibition period. Roof slope shall be 1 in 6 and an offset of 45 cms shall be provided on the sides. The necessary G.I. Sheets will be supplied by Department. 26 Providing carpentry barricading using country wood post of size 1.5 m at equal intervals and a height of 1.8m above the ground level and 0.45 m buried into the ground and maintaining the same for the full period of the exhibition. 27 Conveyance of New GI Sheets from the exhibition groundat Tirunelveli to the exhibition godown at salem safely handing over the New GI sheets including counting, loading, and unloading etc., complete as directed by the Departmental Officers. 28 Conveyance of Old GI Sheets from the exhibition groundat Tirunelveli to the exhibition godown at salem safely handing over the Old GI sheets including counting, loading, and unloading etc., complete as directed by the Departmental Officers.
