Bids Are Invited For Repair, Maintenance, and Installation of Plant/ Systems/Equipments (Version 2) - Industry Unit; AMC FOR PC PERIPHERALS SERVERS AND SUPPLY OF SPARES AT RCF THAL ON OPEN TENDER BASIS FOR TWO YEARS; Buyer - 2. Activities related to job: Annual Maintenance Contract includes Preventive Maintenance and break–down maintenance. Since this is a comprehensive maintenance contract, party shall do the repair/ replacement of all spares (including plastic parts/parts broken during usage) in the event of failure without any extra charges. 2.1 For PCs it includes replacement of SMPS, HDD, FDD, Network card (Ethernet card 10/100/1000Base T), CD-ROM/COMBO drive/ DVD RW, LCD/LED display unit, Mother Board, Sound Card, Key Board, Mouse, CVT/Stabilizer, etc. All these are in the scope of AMC. 2.2 For Peripherals, it includes electronic cards, all electro-mechanical moving/non-moving parts, fuser assembly, gears, sensors, rollers, plastic parts/Teflon, etc. All these are in the scope of AMC. 2.3 Power adapter to Laptops, Print Server attached to Epson LQ 1150 Printer is in the scope of AMC. Only exception to above list is of consumables like cartridge/ribbon/stationery, which will be provided by RCF. 2.4 Party shall do the Periodic Preventive Maintenance of PCs & Peripherals at least once in Three Months. During Preventive Maintenance job, party will check/update latest software, if required, on every PC. Party shall also do the re-installation of the system after failure, assist in recovering the lost data and any other activity or service required for repair/restoration of the computer system. 2.5 In case if any PC is not in AMC, it will be the responsibility of the party to install relevant drivers/software of the attached peripherals which are in AMC. In case if any Peripheral is not in AMC, it will be the responsibility of the party to install relevant drivers/software on the PCs which are in AMC. 2.6 It will be the responsibility of the contractor to transport any PCs and Peripherals (safely), as and when required by RCF. The contractor needs to maintain sufficient number of PC’s and peripherals as standby at the site. The make of spares shall generally be as per original make of machine or as approved by RCF. The status of stock of the spare will be inspected by authorized official of RCF without prior intimation. Spares to be kept under stock for ready replacement in RCF premises is shown in Annexure A-3 . Total Quantity :
