Bids Are Invited For Custom Bid for Services - Operation support services works in Tps Ii Expn - Performing the necessary works from the list mentioned below as notified by NLC engineer in a unit in each shift: Fire surveillance monitoring and preventive water washing in Boiler area to avoid fire. Preventive cleaning in a boiler equipments area with manual/air hose/ water hose to avoid fire. To provide gunny bags, sheets etc., around steam/water/bed material or lime handling system valves or lines whenever leak occurs. Emergency fire quenching with fire extinguisher in Boiler, Turbine, Generator and Auxiliaries and ESP areas. Emergency cleaning and checking of equipments in Boiler, Turbine, Generator and other auxiliary system. Dry Lignite Removal: Carrying out any one of the following works as instructed by NLC Engineers with necessary tools: Going inside Cleaning and removing choke of a Lignite extraction feeder and its discharge chute, removing trapped material if any and collecting lignite as instructed by NLC Engineer. OR Going inside, Cleaning and removing choke of a Lignite Transport feeder and its discharge chute, removing trapped material if any and collecting lignite as instructed by NLC Engineer. OR Clearing of choked lignite from a Extraction feeder a Lignite Transport feeder by water washing. OR Going inside, Cleaning and removing choke of a Lignite Rotary air lock feeder and its discharge chute, removing trapped material if any and collecting lignite as instructed by NLC Engineer. OR Clearing choke in a Lignite bunker hopper through man hole with showel or fire hose/Pneumatic poking/poking with rod hammering. Wet Lignite removal: Going inside and Cleaning and removal of wet lignite (coated) from Lignite Extraction/ a Transport feeder and its discharge chute, Scrapping the coated lignite at bottom and sides, removing trapped material if any and collecting lignite as instructed by NLC engineer Clearing choke manually and spreading it for enabling choke cleaning and water quenching if required, in any one of the following as directed by NLC Engineer. Clearing one ash cooler choke /removing coarse material by draining material from empty chambers and bundle chambers as directed by NLC Engineer according to process requirement in a shift. OR Draining of hot bed material through any one chamber of combustor grate drain to control differential pressure, (after cleating drain pipe choke if any) OR Clearing choke manually in a bed ash rotary air lock feeder, bed material transfer chute in a bed ash conveyor. Feeding of bed material from bed material bunker into combustor of a boiler during unit running. OR The free flow of Lime Feeding into combustor from Lime bunker of a boiler during unit running to be ensured, if required tapping or hammering to be done at Lime hopper/feed pipe or as directed by NLC 1L Engineer. OR Clearing choke manually in a bed material feeding system viz. bed material bunker, bunker hopper, in rotary air lock feeder and bed material feeding pipe of a boiler for a shift. OR Clearing choke manually in a lime bunker, bunker hopper, in a rotary air lock feeder, lime transfer chute and lime powder feeding pipe of a boiler. External cleaning of equipments in Boiler area with service air or wire brush or other cleaning devices on periodical basis or as and when required in any one of the following systems as directed by NLC Engineer. 1. ID fans (2 nos.) OR 2. SA fans (2 nos.) OR 3. PA fans (2 nos.) OR 4. Blowers (4 nos.) OR 5. One set of Transport & Extraction Feeders and Rotary Air Lock feeder OR 6. Service air compressor (2 nos.). OR 7. Instrument air compressor (3 nos.). OR 8. Both units Bed ash system compressors OR 9. Lime handling system compressors & Blowers. OR 10. EBFP (1 nos.) OR 11. Cleaning of any of the equipments in Fuel oil handling system or decanting system OR 12. Cleaning of Cyclone roof and NMEJ area (2 nos.) OR. 13. Cleaning of MEJ in seal pot return legs (4nos) OR 14. Cleaning of SUB area (4nos) OR. 15. Cleaning of a Bed Lance area in one pant leg. OR 16. Cleaning of PA / SA Duct. OR 17. Cleaning of any one of the drain headers OR 18. Cleaning of walkway platforms to Boiler Lifts OR 19. Cleaning of roofs of CST, EDMT and ECWT. Performing any one of the following activities as directed by NLC Engineer. Assisting special operation works in Hoiler Turbine/Generator and their Auxiliaries like boiler inside inspections or condenser water box inspection or deaerator inspection or hot well inspection or vibration measurements or taking local measurements for checking equipment performance or Special sample collection and sending it to lab or assisting in Special tests of a unit etc.. OR Manual Open/close of valves/gates/Dampers/IGVs in Boiler, Turbine and Generator and their auxiliaries including AC & Ventilating system, CW & Fire water system, Air compressors, FOPH, etc and assisting in ESP area operation works during normal operation of a unit. OR Assisting in operation of Condenser ball cleaning system collecting the ball after isolating vessel and unbolting the cover. Collecting and segregating worn out balls and drawing new balls from store, loading new balls /balls in good condition and assist in operation of the system as instructed by NLC Engineer for both units. Manual Open/close of valves/gates/Dampers/IGVs in Boiler, Turbine and Generator and their auxiliaries during a startup/a shut down. Draining of back shifted bed material from all wind boxes of PA, FBFIE, Seal pot. Ash coolers in every shift in each boiler during unit running condition and spreading the drained bed material and cleaning the bed material in adjacent areas. 1 Assisting in operation of bed ash system of a boiler Local check up of air lock feeders, bed ash conveyors, bed ash system air compressors, transport vessels and conveying of bed material into bed material bunker and record the bunker level. 2. Assisting in operation of lime handling system Local check up of air compressors, blowers, air lock feeders, daily fluidization of lime powder and conveying of lime powder into lime bunker and record the bunker level. Assisting in loading of lime powder into lime handling silo. Going inside any one of the combustor pant legs and bed material, clinkers and other scrap materials are to be removed with necessary tools through grate drain pipe (after clearing drain pipe choke if any) or through man hole. Spreading the drained bed material/ash and cleaning the bed material/ash in the adjacent areas. After complete draining, clearing of nozzle chokes with rod or chissle Going inside any one of the combustor pant legs and wet bed material, clinkers and other scrap materials are to be removed with water flushing through grate drain pipe (after clearing drain pipe choke if any) or through the man hole. Spreading the drained ash and cleaning the bed material/ash in the adjacent areas. After complete draining, clearing of nozzle chokes with rod or chissle. Going inside any one of the combustor pant legs and bed material, clinkers (after breaking) and other scrap materials are to be removed with necessary toob (If required with poking tools) through grate drain pipe (after clearing drain pipe choke if any) or through man hole. Spreading the drained ash and cleaning the bed material/ash in the adjacent areas. After complete draining, clearing of nozzle chokes with rod or chissle. Draining of bed material through combustor grate drain in any one of the combustor pant leg of the boiler partially during shut down for inspection purpose. (after clearing drain pipe choke if any) OR Going inside any one of the combustor pant leg and shifting the bed material and draining of bed material through combustor grate drain partially during shut down for inspection purpose (after clearing drain pipe choke if any) OR Going inside two seal pots during shut down and removing bed ash bed material, other debris and collecting it in gunny bags and storing it as directed by NLC Engineer. Going inside any one of the FBHEs bed material and other scrap materials are to be removed with necessary tools(If required with poking tools) through grate drain pipe (after cleaning drain pipe choke if any) or through man hole. Spreading the drained bed material/ash and cleaning the bed material/ash in adjacent areas. After complete draining, clearing of nozzle chokes with rod or chissle. Going inside one of the PA/SA wind boxes and the bed material/ash to be removed with necessary tools through drain pipe (after clearing drain pipe choke if any) or through man hole during shut down. Spreading the drained bed material /ash and cleaning the bed material/ash in adjacent areas Going inside one of the cyclone transient duct during shut down and clearing the accumulated bed material/Ash (Hot or Cold) completely into combustor side/cyclone side as directed by NLC Engineers. OR Going inside one of the back pass duct (telephonic duct) during shut down and clearing the accumulated bed material/Ash (Hot or Cold) completely to cyclone side as directed by NLC Engineers. Going inside one of the Ash coolers and the bed material /bed ash, clinkers and other scrap materials are to be removed with necessary tools (If required with poking tools) through grate drain pipe (after clearing drain pipe choke if any) or through man hole. Spreading the drained bed material/ash and cleaning the bed material/ash in adjacent areas. After complete draining clearing of nozzle chokes with rod or chissle Going inside and Cleaning and removing choke of an ISG entire ash conveyor and its discharge chute, Scrapping coated material at bottom, removing trapped material if any and collecting ash as instructed by NLC engineer. Inside washing of a Steam Coil Air Pre Heater or a Regenerative Air Pre Heater or manual cleaning of Hot End RAPH baskets or a Tubular Air Pre Heater with the water hose or Cleaning of transition ducts at Economizer outlet on both sides or Cleaning of transition ducts at TAPH Inlet on both sides or Cleaning of transition ducts at RAPH outlet on both sides or Cleaning of transetion ducts at ESP outlet 1. To clean Buck stays in one elevation around combustor or Back pass during Unit in service or Unit under shutdown or 2 2. To clean Beams in Air ducts with service air. or 3. To clean Stiffeners around Bed material bunker, Lime bunker with service air. 1. To assist in taking vibration measurements of all Fans of one Unit. OR 2. To assist in taking Vibration measurements of all Pumps of one unit. OR 3. To assist in taking measurements of 02 at various locations of one Unit. OR 4. To assist in taking measurements of FG pressure at various locations in FG path of one Unit. OR 5. To assist in taking measurements of Speed of certain equipments of both Units. OR 6. Collect various oil samples of both Units and sending to Lab for analysis. OR 7. To assist in taking Thermal imaging temperature measurement of both Units. To collect oil leaks, cleaning oil spillages and spreaded oil spilled in FOPH, Boiler, Turbine area, MOT/Seal Oil system, Generator & its Auxiliaries. The waste oil should be disposed at the designated place. Cleaning and collecting of Lignite spillage or Collecting the choke removed lignite (without other debris) at LTC tail end floor of boiler (if required in gunny hags) and loading back to the running Transport feeders/storing it in a place and water washing the floor, water washing the beams and columns as instructed by NLC Engineer. 1. Cleaning of Combustor pent house or Back pass penthouse roof OR 2. Cleaning of FBHE roof (2 nos.) OR 3. Cleaning of platforms in one side of combustor/Back pass/Third pass from 0 M to 51M EL OR 4. Cleaning of PA/SA Duct roofs, OR 5. Cleaning of Flue gas duct roofs (Both side). Going inside one of a Combustor/Back pass pent house during shut down and removing the bed material/ash, other debris and collecting it in gunny bags and bringing down to OM EL as directed by NLC Engineer. Activity One Boiler Field Engineer will take care of entire local operation of unit -1 Boiler, Bed material feeding & Lime powder feeding to the Combustor, Ash cooler operation, FHHE Operation and works as directed by NLCIL Engineers. Also take care of entire boiler area works including cleaning during running and shut down. One Boiler Field Engineer will take care of entire local operation of unit -11 Boiler, Bed material feeding & Lime powder feeding to the Combustor, Ash cooler operation, FHHEs Operation and works as directed by NLCIL Engineers. Also take care of entire boiler area works including cleaning during running and shut down. One Turbine Field Engineer will take care of entire local operation of Turbine & Generator of both units including air compressors and works as directed by NLC IL. Engineers. Also take care of entire Turbine and Generator side works during running and shut down. One Field engineer will take care of Combustor FBHE draining during the high DP, AC & Ventilating system, CW & Fire water system, Cooling Towers, Fuel oil Pump House and ESP etc., of both units as directed by NLCIL Engineers. One safety supervisor will ensure the observance of the safety rules and safety practices by the workers and supervisors. He will ensure the adherence of PPEs and adherence of standard operating procedures. He will also report about the unsafe practices and unsafe conditions in the workplace.
